ok so i'm no stranger to flashing roms ive done it on multiple devices but this is the first time ive come across something like this. I have an LG G2 and I tried out a nougat rom but wanted to go back to cloudyg2 so I did my usual thing, wipe everything, install rom and reboot except when it rebooted it went back into twrp recovery for some reason. I tried about 6 other roms with no result. I also tried downgrading my twrp but that didn't help. I have no backups so I need help, would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

So my phone is bricked, i was running cyanogen fine for like 2 months and suddenly it doesnt want to boot up anymore, it´s just stuck on the lg boot screen.

I was running cyanogen 10.2
I hope i can restore it to either another version of cyanogen of better the original LG ROM
-PS im really bad at all this flashing so please go in detail
Hi,
My first piece of advice is to read up on everything, learn about what you are doing to your phone. Just following instructions is great, but without learning what you're actually doing can lead to big trouble.
That said, You've already asked us on Assist about this, and we're given a link to ask for help in. Which you did, and had a reply. But you didn't follow up with them if the advice you were given didn't work.
Please use the thread we gave you in your last thread. If that doesn't work for you, post a new one here,
> LG G2 > G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
We aren't here for support, only helping members navigate the site. You've been shown where to find help. ?

Hi there,
I currently have AOSP Neat Rom Android version 4.4.4 on the i9100 device. I am considering the option to restore my nandroid backup of Android version 2.3.3 made in ClockWorkMod Recovery v4.0.0.2. However, I cannot find the firmware that matches the CSC I9100OZSKF4 here:
I also tried looking on samfirmware.com/samsung-updates.com/androidfirmwares.net/sammobile.com but I cannot find a match. Some links are invalid now on the xda thread including the one for ZSKF4.
This is what *#1234# showed before I flashed the custom rom:
PDA: I9100ZSKF4
PHONE: I9100XXKE4
CSC: I9100OZSKF4
I want to go back to exactly this firmware with my nandroid backup of all apps/data/logs. All back ups are saved on computer and can be transferred into the phone via selecting MTP.
I thought of these options but I am not sure which is best or correct in my situation:
(1) If there is a restore to factory settings option in the recovery or settings, do I use it? Then re-root the device in android 2.3.3 and restore backup using clockworkmod included with the root files?
(2) Or if restoring to the original stock rom (factory settings) is not an option, do I find the closest GB firmware to what I want and flash it using Odin?
I also looked here for help but only JB/ICS is mentioned:
(3) I have Team Win Recovery Project v2.7.1.0 currently for AOSP Neat Rom. Because my backup file is made in ClockWorkMod Recovery v4.0.0.2, I have to flash CWM before I can restore. I am not sure if I can even use the newest CWM to restore an old CWM backup. I am not sure if this is the best way and am very troubled.
I posted some questions already in this thread "[Q&A][SGS2][Newbies][Experienced Users][RCs] New members friendly Q&A thread". I was thinking this might be a more general question about restoring to stock rom and thought I can also ask here as well to get some insights on where to research next or at least get a confirmation that my thought process is on the right track.
Thank you so much for your time. I have been quite frantic due to the issues I encountered, so please forgive my constant posts.
Sir,
This forum is for helping new users to help members navigate the site, not for support.
I see you've found your device section and already asked your question there and that is great! Wait an answer there from owners of this phone.
So please note the sticky from the top of the Assist section,

Would anyone please point me to a ROM to flash on the new LG G4?
Device has stock G4 ROM (L5.1, build LMY47D), bootloader unlocked, rooted.
I'm looking for any deodexed ROM that can be flashed on this LG G4, specially any lean / debloated ROM, or with Aroma.
Custom ROMS for G4 seem to be scarce as hen's teeth!
Many thanks in advance.

The G4 forums are still in development. Current issues there are mainly unlocking the bootloader, getting Xposed installed without bootloop (which I too haven't managed yet), KDZ, etc. Best advice I got for my Q on G4 forums was, quote:
"there are countless ASOP ROMs for the G4"! ..but not a clue to where I could find one.
You are right of course. Device-specific forum is the first place anyone should go to. Thank you.
Too soon for G4 forums to be of any help. I've been active there for over a month.
Other ROMs (Omni, Slim, CM12 etc) not yet for G4. So I followed the advice on XDA-Assist and posted my Q here.
Maybe I should now throw the towel in!
Great device but useless to me without Xposed and a deodexed ROM.
Yes I do read carefully. That's good advice too. Thanks again.
Still... if you can help, I'd appreciate it.
Your right but the best chance is only in the device specific forums to find something usefull for your device. So please ask/post there .
Good luck

Hello,
Welcome to XDA.
This thread linked below is supposed to root your device.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/sam...-to-root-galaxy-a5-a500fu-lollipop-5-t3137613
The CM12.1 that I'm finding is probably the one you already have, it's the only one here for your device so it won't do you any good for me to link you there.
You can try posting your issue in the A5 Q&A forum linked below.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/samsung-a-series/help
If that forum doesn't help, you can try posting your question in the forum linked below.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help
The experts there may be able to help.
Remember to register an XDA account so you can post and reply in the forums. Good luck.
Hi, I am having issues with my Doogee X5 pro since I did an OTA update from R12 (i think, or possibly from R15) to R17.
Since the update the phone will not boot, it just stops at the DOOGEE logo and goes no further. Of course I have done the usual factory reset through the recovery menu. I should point out that this error is possibly my fault as I did root/unroot the phone prior to the update.
What I am asking from XDA assist is help finding a method to reinstall a stock rom, as this will probably resolve the issue. I have looked all over the web and through the XDA forums for a guide to flash the stock rom, but any guides I have found either do not explain the complete steps properly or the associated download links do not work. It would appear that flashing the X5 is not as simple as say a Galaxy S2 (which I have done before).
I was going to post a question in the forums to see if some one could explain to me how to to this, but I thought it would be right to ask XDA assist first to see if this has already been done (although I have been unable to find it).
many thanks,
MD
