[Completed] [Q] Samsung Galaxy S2 i9100, Restoring to factory settings or GB stock firmware - XDA Assist

Hi there,
I currently have AOSP Neat Rom Android version 4.4.4 on the i9100 device. I am considering the option to restore my nandroid backup of Android version 2.3.3 made in ClockWorkMod Recovery v4.0.0.2. However, I cannot find the firmware that matches the CSC I9100OZSKF4 here:
I also tried looking on samfirmware.com/samsung-updates.com/androidfirmwares.net/sammobile.com but I cannot find a match. Some links are invalid now on the xda thread including the one for ZSKF4.
This is what *#1234# showed before I flashed the custom rom:
PDA: I9100ZSKF4
PHONE: I9100XXKE4
CSC: I9100OZSKF4
I want to go back to exactly this firmware with my nandroid backup of all apps/data/logs. All back ups are saved on computer and can be transferred into the phone via selecting MTP.
I thought of these options but I am not sure which is best or correct in my situation:
(1) If there is a restore to factory settings option in the recovery or settings, do I use it? Then re-root the device in android 2.3.3 and restore backup using clockworkmod included with the root files?
(2) Or if restoring to the original stock rom (factory settings) is not an option, do I find the closest GB firmware to what I want and flash it using Odin?
I also looked here for help but only JB/ICS is mentioned:
(3) I have Team Win Recovery Project v2.7.1.0 currently for AOSP Neat Rom. Because my backup file is made in ClockWorkMod Recovery v4.0.0.2, I have to flash CWM before I can restore. I am not sure if I can even use the newest CWM to restore an old CWM backup. I am not sure if this is the best way and am very troubled.
I posted some questions already in this thread "[Q&A][SGS2][Newbies][Experienced Users][RCs] New members friendly Q&A thread". I was thinking this might be a more general question about restoring to stock rom and thought I can also ask here as well to get some insights on where to research next or at least get a confirmation that my thought process is on the right track.
Thank you so much for your time. I have been quite frantic due to the issues I encountered, so please forgive my constant posts.

[Completed] Lenovo A3300 CWM or TWRP

Good day all. I have scoured the net for a custom recovery for the Lenovo A7-30 (A3300) 7" tablet PC. The device comes with a standard recovery and as such I am not able to do restore Nandroid backups. (I have loaded and created backups with Online Nandroid manager but with no custom recovery can not restore them.) I have tried to see if there is a way to load a generic custom recovery but am not able to find anything relating. Do you know if there are any threads relating?
Chipset for the device is MTK8382.
Thank you for your help and time.
Hi there,

And if I see right you already find the right place and post it your question in general forum here:
General discussion > Questions and Answers > Lenovo A3300 CWM or TWRP
So, best choice is to wait there an answer because on XDA forum I don't find any related thread to your question.
Good luck
Sincere apologies, I realized this after posting but thought I had deleted this post. If possible please could OP delete it?

Depending on weather you have stock recovery or Custom Recovery, your options are different. Please review New here? READ THIS THREAD FIRST. What Is Recovery & Download Mode?
Also please post in [Q&A][SGS2][Newbies][Experienced Users][RCs] New members friendly Q&A thread so that the right experts may be of help.

[Completed] [Q] How can I restore my modem.img after a custom rom install?

I flashed my alcatel 4030d. Unfortunately most likely the modem and the radio for the custom rom is not tailored for my region. Therefore I must restore the old modem.img in order to have 3g. However I don't know how to flash the stock rom modem.img. Any advice?
Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. Unfortunately it looks as though you've gone against the great advice you were given by one of my experienced colleagues in this thread, and now you're stuck in a situation where you may not be able to recover fully. I'm not sure why you'd do that, you came to XDA Assist looking for the advice of experts, and you were warned about what might happen.
There is no dedicated device section for this phone so coming across the stock modem is going to be difficult to say the least. I'd suggest you do your darndest to search for what you need, but your chances are pretty slim. You could always ask your question in the general q&a section if your searching doesn't prove to be fruitful.

Please also note that XDA Assist is not a general helpdesk area, please ask any future question you may have about this device in the above q&a section I've linked you to.
Good luck!

[Completed] Help! Samsung galaxy y error message from reboot button at cwm

Hey Guys! So here's my problem today... You see my friend wanted a new ROM for his galaxy Y. And I, being a geek; accepted. Now when I flashed CWM, it worked fine at first but when I tried to reboot it at the CWM menu it says "Root access is missing. Root device. THIS CANNOT BE UNDONE." and there are 2 options either "-No" or "Yes - Root device (/system/xbin.".. Now, no matter what I choose it still wont boot up completely and open CWM. How do I fix this??? I don't want to ruin my friends new phone!! HELP!
It's title is "CWM-based recovery V6.0.5.3"
Thank you for using XDA Assist.
You should be asking your question in the device specific forum or in the forum for the Rom you are using. In most Development sections of each device specific forum you will find a thread on recoveries you can also ask in there or in the Q&A section for the device.
XDA Assist is here to guide you and point you in the direction you need to go.
We do not provide solutions or guides. We are a Developers site for Developers. Users are required to search and research their information. Please make sure you read everything and truly understand it before attempting to alter your very expensive device, in this case your friends.
Thank you and good luck
Ragnar
P.S. I will tell you that you should have selected NO when it first asked you if the device was already rooted, which it must have been since you installed custom recovery.

[Completed] recovery doen't work, twrp broken?

ok so i'm no stranger to flashing roms ive done it on multiple devices but this is the first time ive come across something like this. I have an LG G2 and I tried out a nougat rom but wanted to go back to cloudyg2 so I did my usual thing, wipe everything, install rom and reboot except when it rebooted it went back into twrp recovery for some reason. I tried about 6 other roms with no result. I also tried downgrading my twrp but that didn't help. I have no backups so I need help, would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
