Graphics Lag in games - Google Pixel Questions & Answers

Overall the device is good but having come from an iPhone7+ certain games worked perfect out of the box. My device update to 7.1.1 so I can't root. I tend to use my device as a gaming device more than anything so this lag is annoying on graphics intense games. Is there any way to adjust settings on stock to help with this issue?

FPse settings for this device?

Has anyone found a good config of settings for this device?
It has the horsepower to run a lot of the game I have tested on it so far I just can't figure out the stuttering sound on most of the games I have run. It is not clipping, more like losing rhythm.
Try changing the sound sampling rate. I believe it has that option. Also make use to use the open gl plugin for improved graphics. It will clean up alot of games and make them look even better than PS original.

Usually, even if the system is stronger, if the emulator has a bad code, that contradicts the way the game should run, it will studder, and what not.
After about an hour of playing with the setting I figured out the sound issue. I had to turn on the spusync plugin in the sound options what I didn't realize all along was that the emulator had to be restarted for the change to take effect quite unlike the video settings in FPse.

Dropchord app

I have been playing this rather addictive app off the market the last few days on my TF700, however am finding it really is either written badly, or the tablet is lagging badly.
Has anyone else played this and managed to get it working smoothly. I am only running it on the standard graphics, not good (or future...) and in performance mode.
I am using ROM2SD with a fast card and also CROMI-X. I don't have any of the ET's enabled etc. just basic main rom.
I would be interested to see if there is anything I can do to get this game to run smoother.

3D graphics/Game performance issue/slight lag on Marshmallow

Well title is self explanatory
I have No performance issue on system wide on marshmallow but 3D high graphics games runs little bit laggy (not huge lag but still noticeable ) than lollipop !
Don't know what's the issue , i upgraded via factory image (full wipe including data) & Not Rooted.
PS : As many user reported on M Dev Prev 3 , Antutu benchmark still crashes on 3D benchmarking , & some users reported that latest Drivers (beta) from Qualcomm web site fix this crash. so considering this & above lag in 3D games i tend to think that may be this Lag has something to do with drivers.
Anyone else seeing this performance issue on M ?
If yes star this issue

Asphalt 8
Dead Trigger 2
Dark Knight Rises
ICC Pro Cricket 2015

Yes, I notice the same lags on Marshmallow, especially on 3D games like Minecraft pocket edition and Dead trigger. I've tried several roms and kernels but that didn't make any difference. But the weird thing is that those lags only appear in games, the system itself is really smooth. I have no clue about what can cause those small lags...

You can actually increase the gaming performance for games with video graphics, on all or any smartphone, be it Android, iOS iphones/ipads, Blackberry, Nokia etc. So if you are experiencing poor Video Game Graphics, maybe due to the type of mobile phone you are using or may be from the game itself. These tips will actually cover how to use full hd graphics booster without downloading any apk app or rooting your device to improve and cause a better performance for your video game graphics designs, on all Android devices and other different OS mobile phones.
You could believe with me that enjoyment of video games lies on the graphics designs the game came with. As a game lover and controller, spending time with playing high quality games especially vr video games remains your best in leisure times or time set out for catching more fun with friends. I must tell you, Games have been one of the most world self-entertaining thing that almost all the masculine and few but coming up famines, are enjoying these days. And due to that, there are many game developers trying to offer the best from their own companies. Some are trying in terms of graphics customization, while some are still learning to do so.
So having thought of the issues I faced while playing games with low video graphics designs, I devised a means through some little research and in all, I was able to come up with a better solution and that’s what am sharing with you right now, in case you are experiencing low quality graphics and would want to do something about it.
Whenever you are playing most of these games on your smartphones, and you notice they phones are still functioning very well, no overheating or any misbehave of any sort, then that simply means your mobile phone still have some extra power reserved. Your work now is to turn the reserved power into use in order to improve and make a better performance on that smartphone image quality. Are you experiencing overheating on your smartphones before now? If yes, then we have got you covered with some tips to stop such from happening to your entire android device, even in hot weather conditions. The solution can be found in our previous post on how to stop Android overheating system problems.
Now, to the very reason why you clicked this post, that is how to improve your video game graphics played on your own smartphone.
Steps To Improve Video Game Graphics On Your Smartphones
(All Samsung smartphones, All tecno mobile smartphones, All htc mobile smartphones, All gionee mobile smartphone, All infinix mobile smartphones, All Google pixel mobile smartphones, All iphone smartphones etc).
STEPS:
>> 1. Ensure to Enable the Developer Mode settings:- To do that, navigate to your Android settings, click where you see More, and then tap on the section where you see build number for seven 7 good times. Doing that will enable the device activate developer option for use.
>> 2. Now, navigate back to the main menu settings, and you will get to see the developer option which you tried to activate in step one in order to have access into it. Just click on the developer option, and scroll down to the bottom of the page where you will see Advanced. Ensure to click it and then scroll down to where Force 4x MSAA is displaying and tick the small box beside it.
That’s all. Now whenever you are playing any game, the characters should be nice and smoother around the edge. But should in case you notice crash frequently after setting up the required set ups. Then go back to the Force 4x MSAA and un-tick the small box beside it.

I cannot find that option.
This large text for... Almost nothing. Smaa x4 is an anti aliasing code. It cost many CPU and GPU ressource.
If you have a bad GPU with low framrate don't touch Smaa setting. Just download 2D games.
If you have a high end smartphone you can check this but you may not notice any "boost", some games already use smaa or any equivalent (sometimes more accurate and efficient).

Lag when playing fortnite

I want to know if anyone plays fortnite on the note 10 + and if it lags at all. I've been playing for a few weeks now and the game will lag everytime there is a notification for the storm. The note 10 + is a pretty powerful phone and I don't think it should be lagging like that. I searched and found some fixes but none of them seem to work. I have even set low graphics and frame rate and it still does it. Please let me know if you play and if it lags at all. Thanks

What kind of internet connection do you have ? is it fast or okay ? As that can cause to lock up not enough data passing through i.e low bandwith! ? Please note i am guessing, i don't play fortnite i'll download and check for ya!
My wifi is great at home. Thanks for the offer but don't download and play it to check. It's like 7.8 gb game. I'm sure someone that plays will eventually see this.
i downloaded and installed it launched fine, as I’m playing i got that notification storm gathering click this box to open the map, it prompted twice no lag.
As I’m playing i got the notification storm is shrinking that’s when i had ever so subtle lag from the looks of it, it's bad coding not fully compatible with Android 10!
Please note I only played it once, graphics was set to optimize for performance I need to play a few more times to really feel what’s going on with the storm shrinking lag.
But yeah it did lag but ever so slightly. Lag was for a few hundred millisecond’s thanks
Yeah the lag isn't much but when your in a fire fight that few sec lag makes a difference when your jumping and bobbing and weaving.
Too many losses.
I'm at the point that I nearly throw my phone across the room. I have a note 9, I have changed settings many times and watched and read countless tutorials, all to no avail. It lags every time the storm updates, sure, but also during firefights. Like, a lot a lot. I have been killed so many times from it. I'm a decent player and I really enjoy the game, but the death by lag happens easily 3/5 games. I can't stand it.
