Could not set up my oneplus one - ONE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
i have flashed the new "cm-14.1-20161225-NIGHTLY-bacon.zip" with the google apps "open_gapps-arm-7.1-nano-20170131.zip".
After rebooting the first setup wizard appeared. But it will just let me setup the phone with NFC from another phone...
The problem is, i don't have another phone with NFC and cannot proceed here.
So i would like to reboot and flash another version of cm and/or gapps.
But how can i enter recovery mode (i have TWRP recovery) from the setup wizard?
NOTE: My volume up/down buttons don't work - so what can i do to proceed or reboot to recovery?
- Thanks!

"My volume up/down buttons don't work" ? really? sorry, it maybe a stupid question, did you press together "power button" + "volume down"?
* if the "volume key" are broken, I've no idea how to enter "recovery mode", sorry for that.
but one tip in case of hung at first start after flash a new ROM:
* click the 4 corners on the phone with clock-wise, it will by pass google checking and directly jump to the main screen

So.... did you solved it yet?

This issue is caused by the latest version of Google Play Services.
To solve this issue, try flashing an older version of Open GApps (20170115 or earlier).

Now I have solved this problem with setting up the phone with another phone over NFC. (Phone from friend)
Another way was not possible.

long Press the "Volume - key to the implementation of clear user data.
3 the upgrade steps:

4. reboot:
update and user data clear steps and select "reboot system now" doing a restart.
*I dont know if there is any problem if you don't clear your data before the update, but if you do it after the reboot the phone will start with chinese language. For change it (With the android ROM):
a) press the options button on the main menu (second button on bottom left of the screen)
b) select the 12th option
c) select the first option and choose your language
Hope it help you!
If you have problems with the touch screen and it dont response well, try to reboot the phone.

I dont remember what do yo have to do for change language in IOS settings, I recommend to you to update to ANDROID rom and follow my steps until a new update releases because the IOS rom have a lot of apps in chinese and the market dont works, so its funcionality is really messy.
Roms released from Androidsale.com with better instructions:

Cant Download!
Hi guys, Im trying to download the files but i cant for some reason it say 10hrs till finished, If someone could provide the Andoid and IOS roms it would be appreciated!
Hi All,
Fantastic site here and glad to be a part of it.
I have recently bought a GooApple 5 and can't for the life of me get the bootloader to come on. I've held down th Vol + and power key for 10 secs, but the phone just boots normally. I've also tried vol - and power, home button and power but still just normal boot.
I tried ROM Manager which did boot my phone but when trying to install the English ROM update i just got an error message.
Any ideas why i cant boot into the reocvery/restore mode?
Thanks

power button doesn't work either? I thought that functioned as the 'enter' button... Imnuts' post will work for sure, but I have to ask why are you in the stock android recovery? unless you meant CWM?
Thanks imnuts, what is the easiest way to adb reboot?
My screen is showing similar to the attached photo but the trackball statement it instead says: [Enter: Home Key, Select : Vol UP / Vol Down
Its asking me to use the home key for my enter but my home key is not functioning. But if you know of an alternative I am happy to hear what your thoughts are.

ADB (Android Debug Bridge, I think) is tethering your phone to your pc and pushing/pulling files or forcing commands to your phone using the command terminal... it doesn't work right away as you need the latest android sdk files, java/jdk files, and altered C:/ path directory (assuming you're running windows, I think thats how it works if anyone can help me out here )
does the power button work as a 'select' button though? also can't you just battery pull and restart the phone or does it restart right into that recovery? just an FYI that is the stock android recovery which you can't (or rather shouldn't) be doing anything in, CWM is recommended... I vaguely recall there being another button that would work like the search button but I'm not sure
Thanks for the advise anoninja118, I appreciate the help.
So last night I tried ADB but was not successful at it, maybe ill look into that more. Unfortunately my phone does not allow the power button to work as the 'select' button. Yeah and pulling the battery leads me back to the same recovery screen. What is CWM?

CWM is Clockwork Mod, its the custom version of that recovery that will allow you to flash files and change options: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1112804
you can flash superuser (what gives you root access) easily in there and just reboot and presto you're rooted... I haven't seen any tutorials on how to use CWM since its fairly easy, to boot into it just hold power+volume up+home until 'Samsung' appears then let go of power and hold the other two until it comes up, then use volume keys and power button to navigate and select
Odin is required to install CWM first though and this thread gives a little info on that: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1160580

[Q] Can't go to bootloader, always goes to ClockworkMod recovery

Hey people my first post so you can call me whatever you want
Here is the thing:
I rooted the phone, installed a custom ROM and such, on the process I guess I installed this Clockwork Mod Recovery v5.8.3.1.
Well I wanted to change the ROM so I downloaded the new one (lastest trickdroid) and follow the steps, BUT!, when trying to acces the fastboot thing on that menu that can't remeber the name of, I jsut can't get into it.
When I tart the phone pressing volume down + power, instead of going to that menu it goes to clockwork mod. I was suposed to "Flash the stock boot.img from the ROM with fastboot", but well I dont know what I did or wahtever, I can't aces that menu.
What should I do?

I am having what seems like the same issue with my phone. Just posted a thread not too long ago asking for help. One person (a SR. Member) informed me to try to restore using a NANDROID backup (which I dont have). Going off of his advice, if you have the backup, try that. If not, we both seem to have the same problem. Good luck with your issue, I will be checking both our threads for solutions from now on!

Extra Help (Maybe)
Hey again, I found some useful information that allowed me to get into my bootloader! If you are still stuck in CWM, use the volume down button to go down to the "advanced" button at the bottom of the list. Since this is a button that leads to another list and not a direct action, you can hold down the power button when highlighted over it and turn the phone off. From there, just hold Volume Down and Power as you would normally do to boot into the bootloader. Hope this helps since it worked for me!
So:
-Navigate to "advanced" (Just highlight over it)
-Hold power button for 10-15 seconds
-Phone should power off
-Volume Down + Power to boot into Bootloader
-Profit?? (Just Kidding )
Again, hope I could be of some assistance!

Have a look at fragkiller1 thread for fixing your issue.
well now I can't even get into CWM sigh
A brief flash of a screen appears now while booting it, but it just skips to the actual OS. I have the fast boot disabled ohh man what do now? DId I mess up something?

edit: sigh now I have another problem, after using fastboot usb with the Boot_Flash_Script from trickdroid, the phone is stuck at the the screen that says"this build is for development pourpuses only..." and it won't go further
edit2: I think I falshed a ROM for VilleC2 when I have a Ville, is there a way to fix this? the phone now is stuck at loading the screen with red words

Ya, make sure you got the right rom and get yourself back into the bootloader and you should see recovery there then do a full wipe and flash the rom and also if you feel you might of flashed the wrong boot.img reflash it to make sure.
So it's over, all solved.
I tried to install a new ROM but CWM got me an error mounting the SD, then I installed another recovery (TWR) and installed the new ROM (viper one s) flashed the boot.img and now everthing works wonders, for now.
Thanks a lot Darknites for trying to help me I really appreaciate that

Np dude glad you got it sorted but ya TWRP is way better for the sd mount and if you have 1.09 or lower Hboot it can also flash boot.img.

Failed remote command not allowed for twrp recovery

I have updated my H60-L12 to the latest stable ROM B532 through the various incremental upgrades. Everything seems to be working fine. Fastboot gives my phone as still being unlocked...yet on trying to load the twrp recovery via the method suggested with the latest multitool, I keep getting the message: "failed remote command not allowed"
Could it be something in my settings? Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks for the help.

Something even worse happened. I power on my device and put it in my pocket and I don't know which button got pressed but when I took it out multirom menu was open. I was like "what the heck !" I have since then tried pressing all button but with no use.
