Hi, I have my S7 edge 935F rooted and updated to Nougat with stock firmware.
Everything seems to work but the camera. After reading online I tried every suggestion from rebooting to cache and delvik clearing, factory reset, safe mode, but it does not work.
If you go to Service Mode, it does not work as well, but if I get back to 6.0.1 it works so it is not a hardware issue.
Any ideas???? Probable a system app is crashing it but don't know how to find out which one.
Thanks
I went to *#34971539# to check the camera firmware and it says null everywhere. any ideas?
CanĀ“t upload screenshot
Hi !
Be sure that you flashed the correct firmware for your device
The NULL message shows that the camera info is not available but not that is faulty , for faulty shows FAILED

Already did all they say but nothing.

HI there,
I have a Galaxy S6 (SM-G920F) on EE
Hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I've been searching for a few days now to no success.
After flashing back to stock my baseband is unknown and IMEI/IMEI SVis null
I do not have a ESF backup as i was fairly new to the "rooting world" and did not think this would happen (foolish i know)
I have tried flashing different stock firmware (BTU and EE-EVR) but it doesn't seem to be fixing the problem.
Clearing cache and reset etc in TWRP
I have also tried the Smart Switch technique to no success. It fails during the installation of the firmware which is annoying as my hopes were up.
Unable to make calls, send texts etc... you know the drill
Many thanks in advance
I've got the same problem and no matter what rom I put on it I can't get network
Hi im new in this forum, I tried to search extensively in this forum and some people have similar issues like me.
I have a Samsung Galaxy note 2 GT-N7100.
When I received this phone was in 4.3 jelly bean and i made a successful upgrade to 4.4.2 kit kat, and I don't remember well why, but I needed to get back to 4.3 and the process corrupted my imei to generic one.
I tried everything to fix it like changing modems, flashing another roms and nothing works, so... a few weeks I contact a Poland guy who fixes my corrupted imei remotely and everything was fine, my original imei back.
Now I have my imei, but same issue, No network registered, I have signal network, also my sim is recognised (virgin mobile) and I was researching here about that, but nothing works...
My phone is not reported or something like that, so I don't know what can I do now
I don't know what any info you guys need to help me
Today i'm testing with stock firmware 4.3 (i'm from Chile) and trying the N7100UBUEMK4 ROM, flashed "Patched_N7100_MK4_KERNEL" and "Patched_N7100_XXUEMJ5_Modem" trying to fix this issue, but nothing change. Also, this solution kills my wifi, so I'm discarding this option for now
Sorry for my english and thanks for your time
PS: I need to add some information, but i don't know if is relevant, when I go to the network configuration to add "manually" a network show me three different companies (Movistar, Entel and Claro) (and I'm Virgin mobile) "Movistar" seems to be "unlocked" but it fails when It try it "Cannot connect now try later". Claro and Entel immediatly fail

Hi, and thanks for welcoming!.
I was trying right now but Kies doesn't recognising my N7100, but Odin did it, is there a pre requirement for kies?
If I don't open Odin, kies does nothing, but If I open Odin first, and then Kies... Says "Connecting" and after a time said: "Device not responding"
I did not know about Kies emergency firmware recovery so I was following some tutorial, and it said I must be in Download mode, etc.
Anyway, I think my device is "clean" at the moment, after flashing 4.3 stock from odin, I didn't root or flashed custom recovery at the moment

Do you have the drivers installed ? You can try smart switch as well as kies and just select emergency firmware then follow the instructions. There is always mskips tookit as well, he has a thread in the n2 forums plus skipsoft.net

Drivers okey, I tried Smart Switch and recognize my N7100 but can not use the emergency firmware recovery, says I can not initialize.
And I can not download mskip's toolkit right now, the server is down apparently: crying:
If toolkit fails do I have a chance with another solution? I'm running out of ideas on how to fix this
Thanks for your time
EDIT: skipsoft is back, I'm gonna try it now
EDIT2: Okey, I'm kinda lost right now, with this tool (mskip toolkit) it looks amazing, a lot of options, but I don't find nothing that can help me with my issue, about flashing stock firmwares I assume I must download them first, but I really tested a lot of roms (stock and custom) and I don't know how to identify the real problem, if is a modem problem, or just the sim doesn't works in this device

Hi everyone,
I am new to this Galaxy S6 so I have some questions about this.
Mine came with the following configuration/firmware:
AP: G920FXXU4DPJC
CP:G920FXXU4DPJC
CSC:G920FOXE4DPJ1
Model: SM-G920FD
Since this is not firmware for my country, I tried and changed it with official firmware for my country taken from sammobile.
Everything worked and the phone is working correctly, but I found some information that OTA won't work and also USSD codes like *#1234#(which I also confirm) do not work.
Can someone else also confirm this? Is there something that I can do about it?
PS: I have stock recovery(or at least I think so - haven't checked), and haven't cleared cache&dalvik - didn't think it would be needed. Does stock recovery allow this operation?
I found some information about temporary recovery - which can help with this and also with efs backup - which seems I need to do if I am to play flashing more firmwares.
PSPS: when flashed through odin I didn't checked the re-partition which I heard is advised if flashing firmware from another country.
Thanks!
Hi,
I do have an unlocked version of Samsung Galaxy S7; model SM-G930F(international model), which I brought from Jet.com. I am using T-mobile sim prepaid sim on it.
For the past few weeks its showing problem of re-starting and hangs on Samsung boot screen(first screen with Samsung name and galaxy s7 logo) with blue light on top always on. I tried factory reset, but did not work and happens too often these days. There is no fixed way of getting out of it. Sometimes it works by clearing the cache, at times by logging in on safe mode and rebooting, then at times by charging for a while and turning it on etc...
From looking into the forums and discussion, I have the feeling that its related to bootloop or bricked phone. The only thing left to do is install firmware once again with ODIN. But I am confused on which firmware to download. Can anyone help me with which is the best one to install? Below is the phone details.
AP : G930FXXU1BPLB
CP: G930FXXU1BPJJ
CSC: G930FUUB1BPL4
Any help of this is much appreciated.
you should install all of them, in the order it says,

OK. But do you have the link to the firmware that I can use? I am not sure from the above information which firmware would be suited for my version of Galaxy S7. Looking for the downloadable firmware.

Hi mate
You had a Marsmellow firmware you can basically flash any official firmware you want , as long as it belongs to a G930F , pick a country similar or same to where you live
Check here
Get a Nougat firmware they are working fine, follow the intruction in how to flash , pick CSC or home_csc , CSC will factory rest your phone will it leave it like new , if you use home_csc has to be same as the one you have your phone then you will not lose any data
SM - G930F
Thank you!!
I got the file downloaded now. Do I need to select all the AP, BL, CP and CSC on the ODIN software to reset it?

Today morning again the phone got hanged in the bootscreen. So, I decided to run the ODIN3 with all the 4 files selected. I installed the Samsung drviers and followed all the instruction and run the application with all the 4 files selected. The process showed success in the ODIN3 application. But even after that, the phone is stuck on the bootloader Samsung with Galaxy S7 logo.
Any idea what to do next or how to resolve this issue?

Perhaps someone can answer a similar question for me? I have the XEU nougat beta firmware, can I flash the BTU final nougat without needing to factory reset?

OK.... here is the SAD news.. I gave the phone for repair on a local cellphone shop. They did some testing on it and said its related to software. After trying to fix it with installing software and other fix they called me a while back and said `THERE IS NO FIX FOR IT`.
Not sure what to do with it. Bought this unlocked only 6 months back and its already dead....
Never going for another Galaxy for sure.

Yeah, you can do that, but is preferable to do the flash then a factory reset...
Guys really need help here, I just got a used indonesian g930fd (strangely it shows g930f on phone info) which keep restarting itself after upgrading to nougat (OTA). Also even if I already "power off" the phone, it still restarting (or booting?).
I've tried to factory reset from recovery, still keep restarting. Btw at first factory reset, somehow data partition got corrupted then second one success. Also when my data partition corrupted, the phone doesnt restart/on by itself like I mentioned before, so seems firmware related issue instead of hardware.
I also tried to go to two samsung service center, because first one somehow tell my imei is from singapore and second center tell mine is fro arab (wth) so I can't claim warranty eventho still below 1 year.
My question is:
1. Does reflashing stock (7.0) firmware will fix it?
2. Why phone info show my phone model as SM-G930F instead of G930FD?
3. Is it possible to change Product Code? rite now my product code is definitely Indonesian (SM-G930FZDUXID), originical CSC blank, everything else XID / Indonesia . I kinda have doubt now because two service centers tell different country, also sticker on back cover somehow tell its G930F, and print one on glass cover G930FD
Mind me if these question alrd asked before, but I already tried to search and googled everything and Im still lost here.
here's my firmware information from *#1234#
AP: G930FXXU1DQE7
CP: G930FXXU1DQD7
CSC: G930FOLE1DQCV
Model: SM-G930F/DS

Hi mate
Well mate , F and FD models have the same hardware and and use the same firmware , only difference is the SIM tray , they are different to fit one or or two sim cards depending on the models.
The model number is written in the build.prop ( do not know if somewhere else) if it only written there phoneinfo can be fooled , you can double check it by checking your IMEI at this site or other similar
http://www.imei.info/
It will tell you to what phone that IMEI was issued to. Check also with phoneInfo if the phone is original or refurbish
to your questions:
1. Does reflashing stock (7.0) firmware will fix it?
Is a good chance it will, if there is no hardware issues
2. Why phone info show my phone model as SM-G930F instead of G930FD?
do not know , check by your IMEI to see what the real model is
You can flash any F firmware with the desire CSC code , just download the firmware and flash it using CSC and not home_csc

Thanks for ur response! It's still original from phone info, now not tho since I already flashed new firmware.
Things that I already did:
1. Flashing two same 7.0 nougat for Indonesian version (updato and sammobile)
2. Tried entering recovery mode while charging to check if battery dead, result can't enter recovery mode means battery should be fine.
3. Checking serial number with Smart Switch somehow tell me it's from Arab. I can't restore tho since it keep restarting.
And restart issue still there. One thing for sure it does heat up everytime. While on odin mode, it never restart tho. I still can't find the problem
Is there chance for any other hardware failure somehow aside battery? Thanks!

Hi
It's still original from phone info, now not tho since I already flashed new firmware.
The original check in phoneinfo is regarding the hardware , it has nothing to do with the firmware also you can flash a different firmware to your phone and would be still original
1. Flashing two same 7.0 nougat for Indonesian version (updato and sammobile)
What files did you flash?
2. Tried entering recovery mode while charging to check if battery dead, result can't enter recovery mode means battery should be fine.
Not sure what you mean ...if you cant enter recovery while charging means battery is fine, that makes no sense, i doubt your issue is battery
3. Checking serial number with Smart Switch somehow tell me it's from Arab. I can't restore tho since it keep restarting.
I said check your IMEI to see to what device was asigned to , to see if it was assigned to a G930F or G930FD
Is there chance for any other hardware failure somehow aside battery?
motherboard...but if before of OTA was working fine i would think more in a firmware issue
