On Google Play, I saw an app named "SceneFX for Tango" at :

It seems to be a good app for our Phab 2 Pro. But I get no camera input on the app and the buttons are not well located on the screen.
If I am not mistaken , the Phab 2 Pro is the only Tango supported device available to public. So if this Tango "focused" app is not working on our device where does it work ?

If you use the Nokia Apps.xap (HTC Interop Unlock) then you can download the Nokia Maps directly from MP. When I tried updating with this file I got the error. I just got it working on my HTC HD7. The app looks like it is still in Beta. Not many options & no turn by turn.
Just noticed that Nokia Maps is for maps only. Nokia Drive is the turn by turn app. I can download both but only maps work on my Phone. When launched, Drive says Nokia Drive is not supported on your device. :-( Any help? Maybe a registry hack?
Nokia Drive is for navigation, google it and you can find it.

I was an owner of a Xiaomi Mi4c but I switched to a brand new Samsung Galaxy S7 a few weeks ago, the only thing I miss on my Galaxy S7 is a good camera application with a nice shutter sound; I loved the shutter and manual focus sound of my Xiaomi phone.

So I was wondering if there's a possibility to use the Xiaomi camera application on any Android device without root??? If yes, where can we download it?

Unfortunately it doesn't work, when I open the app it says: "Unfortunately, Camera has stopped."
Is there any new developments concerning this topic? I'm still wondering if there's an app (apk) we can use Xiaomi camera app on any Android device without root? Or at least a similar app...?

Hi All. Comparing my newish Mate 9 with my wife's rather ancient Galaxy S4, I noticed a difference in the Play Store app. My wife's has an extra feature in the hamburger menu just above 'settings' called 'Play Protect'.
From what I've read (I know it's function) all Android phones with Play Services v11 should have this new feature, but mine has v11. 3.02 but no Play Protect.
Any thoughts? Thanks!

In a different place, usually the same on stock/vanilla Android so hers must be different on TouchWiz or whatever Sammy calls their ui now. It's in - Google - Security - Google Play Protect and there's 2 options.
Ahh, that explains it! Thanks Benjmeister. I've also noticed that the Wife goes to the PlayStore and clicks on 'My Apps and Games' just above the list of app updates there's a little green icon with 'Play protect' next to it summarising when the last scan was made. I know I can (NOW) see that same info under Google - Security, she can see it within the actual App Store. What do you think? Another Samsung TouchWiz thingy?
Yep, shocking title, but thats what the Google Play Store said to me when i tried to update the Netflix App ( pic attached ).
I know that the app isnt available for rooted devices, old devices, old android versions... but why our S8 Plus ???
My Device is no rooted, no OEM unlocked, Global version, Android 9 with latest security patch.
EDIT 1: App works great by now, didn't mention that. All ok with streaming movies and series, no problems on login and on app functions.
EDIT 2: Well I don't know how but it fixed by itself (Screenshot attached) and now I can update the app without problems, hope it doesn't happen again
Hi all. Busy installing all the apps I need on my just received p7p.
One of the most important ones is the app to manage my amplifier, a Cambridge Audio Minx Xi.
That app runs fine on my Note 20 Ultra with Android 13 but on the p7p I can't find the app anymore in the play store but I can see int in the play store on my Note 20.
So I extracted an apk on the Note and running it on the p7p gives the message 'you can't install the app on your device'
I checked the Cambridge Audo website and they refer to one of there other apps as the Minx Xi app is no longer maintained and supported. However, that app doesn't connect and refers back the the other app. I'm in a loop with that.
Does anybody have a clue on how to get this fixed?

Hi, if the app isn't 64 bit, then you can't install it on the Pixel 7 pro.

This isn't specific to Android 13, but more the P7P specifically. Google decided to ship the device without 32bit app support. There is a magisk module in this forum that will bring back the ability to run 32bit apps. You will need to be rooted to use it.
