Nb1 i337 to Nougat - General Questions and Answers

I was able to get my i337 down to nb1 and rooted using this guide:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4-att/help/guide-att-samsung-galaxy-s4-sgh-i337-t3383078
Can I use that as starting point to upgrade to any stable variant of Nougat? Is there guide available?
Thank you so much

AFAIK there is no official LP firmware available for your device.
So we are talking about a custom ROM.
There are some available for your device ... e.g. oct-l, or unofficial-pac, or dirty-unicorns, or CyanideL.
In the first post of the ROM threads you will find detailed installation instructions.
Good luck.

Upgrade to 5.1.1 from rooted version 5.0.2 - Galaxy S6 Edge G925F

Hello All,
I'm using rooted version 5.0.2 rooted with pingpong. My question is, shell i upgrade 5.0.2 to 5.1.1 or not?
If Yes, what method i shell use to root? Is there any advantage of having 5.1.1?
Thanks in advance...
I would upgrade to 5.1.1 because it brings some fixes and features. But if you are waiting for a fix for the ram issue than you will be disappointed.
Upgrade is always the easy way with a official firmware flash with odin and root again. But there is no root method without tripping know on 5.1.1 (as far as I know).
So it's your decision
Thanks @ XxM4tzexX,
My main concern was Ram and Knox tripping, it sounds like I should wait until there is rooting method without tripping Knox.

AT&T S4 i337, Is the OC3 (lollipop stock ROM) bootloader or not?

Hello,
I'm looking forward to flash OC3 stock firmware into my AT&T S4 i337 using Odin. I currently have NB1 (4.4.2) version. Should I expect any issues?
I also want to know that whether it is bootloader locked or not?
Hi,
Do you have a link for the OC3 firmware?
Thanks.

Is it possible to root Sprint Galaxy S5 running G900PVPS3CPE2?

I've rooted several Sprint Galaxy S5's that were running Sprint's 6.0.1 version, G900PVPU3CPCA. (a.k.a "PCA")
Does anybody know if it's possible to root the newer Sprint 6.0.1 firmware version, G900PVPS3CPE2? (a.k.a "CPE")

I only have CPE1 and it rooted just fine. I don' think they can lock the bootloader on Sprint, but I haven't upgraded yet.
Yes. I did yesterday using the system less method.
