I am.
Rebooted twice during setup. Then went into bootloop.
Didn't flash anything other that the ROM and OpenGApps.
To all the people having bootloops.. Do as mentioned below.. The shipped kernel isn't complete with f2fs commits so the rom reboots and goes into loop..
So either u switch to ext4 or
Extract the boot.img and keep in ur phone and follow.. Belows..
1: flash the rom..
2: flash gapps..
3: flash unsu zip..
4: flash the boot.img as boot using twrp
5: now flash the kernel attached with this post.. The kernel has f2fs commits..
6: flash magisk
7: flash phh superuser..
Reboob..
Profit..??
I am using the rom since 2 days now..
Credits for the kernel go to @dabug123 who is none other than Paul..
Cheers..

AICP is known by everyone as Ice Cold Project that started on Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, Rom has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year, we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them or CM team if it concerns their modifications. This rom isn't CM supported so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!

Download link: http://dwnld.aicp-rom.com/
Changelog:
Full Changelog: By download link per device
Known Bugs/Issues:
You tell...
How to flash:
ROMS should contain everything you need to enjoy Lollipop. You are not required to install any Add Ons, simply download the latest ROM, gapps, flash it, and go!
You are STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup - these can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.
Requirements:
Custom recovery (either TWRP or CyanogenMod)
Clean flash if coming from another ROM (no dirty flash)
.
Don't do it if you don't know it
ROM has gapps persistance in between dirty flashes
KERNEL:
Kernel in this rom follows CM source with custom additions.
PREREQUISITE FOR OTA:
To be able to flash over OTA app, TWRP recovery is needed.
You can still use CWM and OTA app, but only to download zip file and flash it manually from within recovery. Zip gets saved under AICP_ota folder on your internal SDcard.

Hi
Since camera is fine now, i made a AICP build for you guys.
Thanks to all the hard working Dev's out there that made this build possible.
AICP Team is focusing more on nougat, so there will not be much updates or builds from me.
I will try and make AICP nougat builds, when H850 source is ready.
This right now is just for fun, and that we will get more Roms to choose from.
Same steps should be taken as when you install CM 13.0
Also the same bugs will be there.
So same warning message :
These builds are experimental, unofficial, and probably have a lot of things broken.
I am not responsible for soft bricks, hard bricks, red bricks, tar bricks, burning phones, dying phones, exploding phones, Note 7's or cats. Or anything else for that matter. Flash at your own risk

If I remember correctly from using aicp ROMs in the past don't they offer a 5 and 6 signal bar icons and the ability to do extra stiff with the clock and status bar stuff? I am using the h830 and would be interested in testing this rom out if someone ports it to the h830. Thanks for your work!

maybe a stupid question, but is it possible to port the AlwaysOnDisplay and the Camera app of the Stock G5 to this rom?

The camera app requires the LG framework which will not work on CyanogenMod or AICP.
There is always on display buried somewhere in this ROM. I don't remember where I saw it last night.
This is thread is about the building, and bug reports, not port requests. Dig around the rom a little though before requesting stuff. Almost everything is here.

The delta gapps recommended makes a lot of crashes. I know that gapps is the culprit and not the ROM as I tested the same gapps with other ROMs where I didn't face these problems. Using dynamic gapps solves the problem.
There's a problem in hardware button section where if I disable and enable it back, the backlit intensity gets too dim, even if I've set the value at 100.
Rest looks good ?

Ar you talking About my Screenshots..?? If yes then its Mono/Art substratum theme check in playstore.
This ROM was like a blessing in disguise. Very stable, no lags and delays. Wondering why it's not that popular, it's one of the best.

AICPAndroid Ice Cold Project
AICP is known by everyone as Ice Cold Project that started on Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, Rom has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP stopped development (but made a comeback later), we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
With the rebrand of CM to LineageOS (LOS) we are now actually LOS based.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them out or LOS team, if it concerns their modifications. This rom isn't LOS supported, so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!

Don't disable Heads-Up. You might not be able to answer phone calls otherwise.
You tell...
The ROM should contain everything you need to enjoy Android Nougat. You don't need to install any Add-Ons, simply download the latest ROM, GApps, flash it, and go!
It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.
How to flash:
Again: Don't do it if you don't know it!
TWRP is the recommended custom recovery (and needed for OTA Updates)
1. full wipe
2. flash ROM
3. flash GApps
(The ROM has GApps persistance in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once!
.
KERNEL:
Kernel in this ROM follows LOS source with custom additions.
PREREQUISITE FOR OTA:
To be able to flash over OTA app, TWRP recovery is needed.
You can still use CWM/LOS recovery and OTA app, but you will need to download the zip file and flash it manually from within your recovery. Zip gets saved under AICP_ota folder on your internal SDcard.
Please be sure that you are on the latest TWRP recovery.

Not quite official just yet but ,but we'll have the smoothest rom out there I assure you
Fingers crossed these devs can fix the wake lag on all of the other linage based ROMs. Can't wait!
By far the best non-miui rom i have used, has all the necessary features to be daily driven on my MIX!!!!
We are glad you guys are happy and pleased there's a app in the play store which makes downloads easy , also a Hangouts group chat is also available here Join the conversation on Hangouts: https://hangouts.google.com/group/RD33559P4rgAhwAG2
Trying this rom and ao far it feels nice and fast and smooth. Haven't tested phone yet, and need more time to check camera life but it feels good.
Thanks developers!!!
A question: will it work with DragonXia kernel??
In case it serves to improve the rom: ambient display is not wotking. At least not in my device.
Clean flashed latest build + gapps and no tweaks or anything else done so far.
Edit: it works but only when notifications come in. Not on pick-up.
Edit 2: working now after soft reboot...

Does this rom still have the fingerprint wake up delay? Someone in the Hangouts chat said it didn't, but considering both lineage and RR do, I'd be very surprised if it was solved here...

Thanks, saved me a reflash!
Is DragonXia booting with it? If AICP is still using a modified bootclasspath i could bake an anykernel version that is keeping original ramdisk. Just let me know if it works or not.
But only the normal version. Because of missing eas support on this ROM.

True we do not have eas support . The maintainer is a close friend he brought this rom up at my request since I bought the device also pappschlumpf if you would message me on Hangouts are in our Hangouts group chat link above our Maintainer and you could get together on a few things like eas and this fingerprint scanner issue if you message me in our Hangouts group chat I'm elite ( one other thing pappschlumpf our Maintainer is also a kernel Dev and has already done eas kernel for our other device we build for .
Anyone here not getting ambient display messages if not we need to look into it

Installation Instructions
ALWAYS MAKE A NANDROID BACKUP FIRST!
Coming from another rom/clean install:
Reboot to recovery, flash required firmware
Wipe system, cache, dalvik/art cache, data
Flash rom zip and gapps
Reboot
Updating from a previous build/dirty flash:
Wipe system, cache, dalvik/art cache in recovery
Flash rom zip, gapps and any other zips you may use
Reboot
Never dirty flash from one rom to another
Builds are rootless, so to be rooted, flash your SU of choice
Substratum support is there as long as you have the latest Substratum app.
If you have any issues, grab a log after a clean flash, upload and link here please. Add steps to reproduce the issue in your post.
Do not report issues dirty flashing this over some unofficial build or with some kernel flashed.
Logcat Extreme app is great as you can choose to start recording a log just before reproducing an error and stop recording just after so you log just the part you need.
Xposed is not supported here, if you want to run it and have issues, try an Xposed thread for support and bug reports here only welcome with a clean install with no Xposed present.
Make sure to state which rom you are running when asking for support

Where is validus?
Feels very solid, just like slim used to. I like this one more than the nougat one because tipsy branding is not permanent.
Hardware button backlight was not working. I flashed the zip for p ROM, fixed it once n for all.
My only request would be to add signature spoofing since this is unofficial at the moment. I was hoping that it would be inbuilt as gzosp base is used but that's not the case. Cheers!
Can anyone add screenshots?

Swipe is a little problematic. Has to be pushed to the top for the phone to unlock.
I tried uploading the zip multiple times but it didn't work. And then suddenly its there. So let me see how can I share it with you.

I'd hate to change it after setting up everything from scratch. Any chance that it can be fixed?
