There are many brands of cases out there, some we all know and love, and some small ones we’ve never heard of. Poetic is a brand that’s been around since 2011 and is probably one of the top five case manufacturers out there. Poetic makes three cases for the Pixel and Pixel XL as of now, the Karbon Shield -- a reinforced TPU case with Carbon Fiber style texture, the Affinity -- a slim clear polycarbonate case with reinforced TPU edges, and the Revolution -- a two-piece polycarbonate and TPU rugged behemoth.
I have spent a few days with the Revolution case on my Google Pixel XL. This case gives the Otter Box a run for it’s money. Although it may not feel as premium as the Otter Box, it provides a fairly liberal amount of protection with thick polycarbonate and stiff TPU. The Pixel is installed in the front half of the case where the built in screen protection lays. Them combined pops into the thick back cover, fixed in placed by a series of clips around the border.
It may be hard to believe but It doesn’t feel as bulky as it looks. It rests nicely in my hand and is easy for me to grip. The power button has an adequate amount of tactile feedback and the volume buttons are spot on with the amount of ‘clickiness’ I like.
The cutouts for the ports, camera and headphone jack are all precise or enlarged where needed. The Type-C cutout fits my larger-than-average cable, in case you were wondering. Speaking of the Type-C port, there is a small dust cover that closes over and into the port. It doesn’t go far enough in interfere with the floating connecting wafer. I was never a fan of those covers, so I would be inclined to cut it off.
Where this case shines is it’s price tag. This case only costs $14.95 on Amazon
When comparing to the well-know Otter Box that sells for around $50, this case is a serious bargain for the protection it provides. You simply cannot find a case like this for that price. It also comes in a total of three colors, Black-on-Black, Red/Pink-on-Grey, and Blue-on-Grey. I’m a simple guy so the full black one is fine for me.
If a slim case is what you are looking for, this is certainly not what you want. If you want some serious protection, then here you go. Done!

It looks exactly like the Casemate "barely there" case, but with some different colors. I like it
How is this different from the SILICRYLIC?

Yea me too.
Got mine in the mail today and its much better than I expected!
Very durable with a great feel to it. Feels like it won't slip out of my hands and it doesn't attract dust/dirt.
Fits in my Bracketron UCH-101-BL Universal Cup-iT Cup Holder Mount with no slip-outs or closure problems...
Tossed my TPU case in a drawer and don't miss it at all. In fact I like this case better than my wife's case-mate Pop case.
Like its been said already, I wish it had a holster!
I have this case, its thin and rugged, it feels awesome inhand I recommend it,
only downside it no port protection...
Hey all, I received a Blue ZeroLemmon Razor Armor Case yesterday.

Everything was delivered in perfect condition, and was well packaged.
I wanted to compare it to one of my other cases for the phone, a White Ringke flex Slim Fusion Slim Armor.
The Ringkle, came with two plastic body shells and a screen protector. The two shells are nice but I have only used the textured one.
Ok. On to the comparison. First off, I can you tell the ZeroLemmon case rubber part is thicker, and provides more protection on all corners and edges of the phone.
This extra padding is great, and im getting use to the sharper corners and shape of the case to help hold the phone.
My Favorite feature so far is in the enginerring that went into the case. ALL THE PORTS AND HOLES LINE UP PERFECTLY! And the charging port is easy to access and open and easier than the Ringke.
Please respond to this post if you have any questions. Ill post some updates after I get a few days use out of it.
Thanks!
Update. Haven't had one single pocket dial since putting on the case. I'm not sure what color blue it is, but it matches my running gear.
..
Yeah, I am very happy with it. And do like the way it feels in my hand. I am going to try out my old case, the Ringke flex Slim Fusion Armor tomorrow, and see which one I like better.
I really do like the blue color, and have dropped my phone twice and it has been well protected.

Thanks for the comparison. We looking to see if this is the right amount of button pressure users will like. We look to apply this button pressure to other cases
The button pressure works just fine, and I like that they are bigger than the Ringke i compared it too.
The case also sits nicely around the edge of the bezel and leaves a nice border to allow easy screen shots with the gesture and for turning on the one handed mode
ZeroLemmon Case wins! I donated my old Ringke slim Armor to another s5 user, as the ZeroLemmon case is my choice.
The phone just feels better in my hand, and a better charging port access, plus i really like the color.
Cool! We are glad the pressure works out on the button. we have been tuning the case buttons for all our products to provide uniform pressures
Who have this case any recommendations?

Perfect
I have one, grey colour. After trying many cases, I think this one does the best job. It protects well and also leaves the phone accents to be easily seen.
Sure, I am not the biggest fan of TPU cases as they tend to loose in time, but this one is actually quite ok.
And one more thing: it definitely does not scratch the metal edges.

it's not a bad case, but beware if there's a dust will scratch the silver side of note 4...
also after 2month usage, the bottom of the case start loosing, but typical problem for tpu case after some times
Got similar TPU case and had to cut out the buttons they are so sensitive on this device it was going out and on up and down all the time
I have the grey one, it is very cheap. I don't like it, it fits well and is slim but I don't like the feel, shiny and rubbery makes it feel very cheap to me...I know it is cheap but I don't want my phone to end up feeling cheap
I would love to see pictures of a phone in this... right now there're just pictures of the backs themselves...
Hi,
I have a question to OP. Is the TPU case thick enough to protect the back camera from touching the ground surface when placing on table or floor etc?
I have purchased a cheap TPU case before but it leave the back camera exposed to the potential of scratching when placing on table. Currently using Spigen Neo Hybrid which works perfect but look a bit bulky.
Thanks.
I just hate the sticky rubbery feel of TPU. Just feels cheap to me. Also these TPU cases tend to sag and loosen over time.
I have this and a diztronic, diztronic is in a whole different league, still essentially a rubber case but so so much better and doesn't feel cheap.
I recently acquired a Poetic Affinity case to review and to going to give my honest opinions compared to Spigen Rugged Armor case.
This case is a hybrid of TPU and polycarbonate, which gives the case stability as well increased grip/flexibility. The extra TPU along the corners and edges of the case help give the phone shock absorption as well as keeps the phone stable while texting on a table.

Before receiving this case I had the impression that the case would be obtrusive and giving added bulk to a slim phone. The case is actually very low profile, and very easy to handle or pull out of your pocket. One issue I have had in the past with cases are their fitment with a tempered glass screen protector, but paired with Intelliglass hd it fits perfectly!
One big improvement this case has compared to the Spigen case are the tactile feel of the volume and power buttons. They are very responsive and can easily differentiate between the volume buttons and power button. All of the cutouts fit precisely (including camera and laser autofocus) and there is no interference with headphone jack or USB type C cable. The fingerprint scanner is easily accessible as well, which was a concern of mine by adding a case.
The only complaint that I have with this case is the location of the branding. The P is right in the middle on the back of the case which is right over the Nexus logo. This is not a big concern for me, but its a minor one.
Overall this case has added a tremendous amount of grip without adding to the overall bulk of the phone. I have not had any drops while using this case so I cannot comment on the protection, but it seems it would protect against minor to moderate falls. I can honestly recommend this case to anyone looking to increase the grip without adding much bulk to the phone.
I got this case also. I kind of like it more than my spigen a little

I feel the same way. Ever since I received this case I haven't felt the urge to switch back to the Spigen.

+1 to this.
I also bought the Spigen first but wanted a more transparent case that wasn't black since I did order the Crystal White for a reason.
It's very nice. I've had quite a few co-workers buy it once they saw mine. All in all worth the money.
Expecting my Pixel XL next week and I found this last night on Amazon for just $0.99 w/ free shipping. Must be a promotional price.
Their iPhone and S7 cases are around $8-$10 and come with decent reviews. Just thought I'd share in case anyone is looking for a backup/alternative case option. Anyone have any experience with this case or this brand?
I'll post pics when mine arrives.
I ordered this as well. Looking forward to it. I couldn't decide on a case so I chose this for use in the meantime. The pics look very nice. Now I just need a phone.
Case review
Got it in the mail today. Came in a fairly standard non-descript zip-lock bag. Here are my first impressions and some pictures.
Look/feel: The fit is excellent. Nice soft touch back. The carbon fibre accents aren't to everyone's taste but the sides provide a really good amount of grip because of them. The case is fairly slim and is no bigger than my Ringke fusion (which I love). One thing to note: the back of the case is flush, unlike others which have raised bumps on the corners to prevent the back of the case from getting scratched up when laid down. So I don't know how the soft touch back will hold up with time.
Protection: It's thicker around the corners which means it should provide a good amount of protection in case of a drop. I ain't doing no drop test though. There is a good lip around the front which will let you lay it face down without scratching the front glass even with a tempered glass screen protector. The camera lens is nicely recessed and shouldn't get damaged when laying the phone down.
Buttons: Buttons are really not good at all. They are hard to press with little to no feedback - my only cases for comparison are the Diztronic and Ringke fusion which are both known to have excellent buttons. Most cases now have slits cut on either side of the buttons which vastly improves their "clickyness" but this case doesn't. You could probably cut some slits yourself but I haven't tried this yet. There's also no difference in the texture of the power vs volume buttons. A few ridges on the power button would have been nice to allow for tactile differentiation.
Openings: All openings are very accurate but the USB opening is a little on the small side. My charger fits fine but my third party A to C cable does not. Headphone opening is round and with most newer headphones should be fine but my old Sennheisers (with the larger plug) won't fit without an adaptor - this shouldn't be a deal breaker. There is one large cut-out for the camera/flash/focus so it shouldn't have problems focusing. The fingerprint scanner opening is nice and large which is good for the swipe gestures. The speaker cut outs are fine. One more thing: as with most cases the USB cut out is somewhat sharp and prolonged resting on your pinky may cause discomfort - a hair better than my Ringke fusion but not ideal. I wish more manufacturers would pay attention to this.
tl;dr: Basically a decent case but let down by very poor button feedback and a slightly small USB opening. Also the carbon fibre look is not for everyone. Not going to replace my Ringke fusion any time soon.
Cheers!
