So, yesterday i was using my s7, suddenly, i got the custom binary blocked by frp, never had used or even flashed a phone before, searched for some tutorials and everything was up again, except by the carrier signal, the phone recognize that the sim is on, but cant register to the network.
Any possible solutions or i'm stuck with a high valued paper holder ?
edit: my imei is okay

Greetings and welcome to assist. Is your phone rooted or plain stock ? Try going into settings and checking oem unlock

Hi All,
I've just got an Samsung Galaxy S that is coded to a provider network.
So far so good ...
After I've installed an application and root the phone and then unroot it, my pone doesn't recognize my sim card ...
If I navigate to the Mobile Network from Settings then I get No SIM card inserted.
Facts to take into consideration:
- I have restarted the phone;
- I have applied a factory reset and lost all my data except music and files I've got on it;
- I have shacked the SIM card a little bit;
- I didn't applied a hard reset to it;
- I did tried to put a different provider SIM card and the message I get is to insert PIN then is asking for the UNLOCK NETWORK PIN;
- I am able to log in the phone but with no service
Please note that when starting / restarting the phone I get no Insert PIN popup
Anyone has an ideea why ?
I've got the same problem saptaru.
No sim card is detected in my Galaxy S.
If you happen to solve it, please, do not forget to post a comment.
After dialing #*1234# I can read:
PDA:
PHONE: Unknown
CSC:
I guess the IMEI cannot be recognized by the phone.
At least, I wrote it before rooting and flashing.
Any help will be highly apreciatted!
Hello,
After several restarts, hard reseting the phone and enable-disable networking I still get the sim card removed from time to time ... I don't really know how to debug this... if there is anyone on this forum with the right experience in order to debug the system please write me and maybe we can find a solution.
I must mention that I have unlocked my phone and also rooted it.
Thanks allot !
I have same problem now, can anyone help.
well my sim card has been identified but i can't seem to register on the network.....thats as far as i got as a noob with my first android (xperia x8)......can someone help me from here on......
i get nothing from sims from various networks, it doesn't even register as having a sim in it...
unlocked and darkys rom... driving me crazy, it basically a large mp3 player at the moment...
Maybe have installed the wrong ROM. i9000 has many bases and radios. I had this problem installing 900mhz ROM on a 850mhz sim.

Hmm, ok this might be the issue, flashing the htc desire is so much simpler!!
Will try to find correct radios and stuff again...
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App
Even I am having the EXACT same issues right now. I also did the factory reset but that doesn't help!

Have the same problem here. Have you managed to find a solution?
Hi everyone, I don't know if anyone is still interested but I've found that putting the phone into flight mode and then rebooting seems to work, because when I then turn flight mode off it asks me for my pin code and service is restored. As long as the IMEI folder is still in the efs folder then things should be fine.
Hope this helps for anyone who is here or just stumbles across this.
I've had the same problem > Sim Card not found.
I went to the Vodafone repair center today they said the phone had water damage.
Its never been near any water ever-they said that it could have happened months ago - "perhaps you hand wet hands once?". Its still in warranty but the apparent water damage means the warranty its now invalid. So now I'm stuck with an expensive video/audio player with WiFi access. Any help or progress with this issue would be great. Thanks
I fixed the issue bu flashing a working Modem from another rom. Just extract the modem.bin and flash it with odin
sim not discoverable
Hi all

Hello, i recently thought about flashing a rom on my phone, i did all the basic stuff unlock boot loader, root etc but when i put the file on my device i got stuck in a bootloop, so i panicked a little and went on to google to find a STOCK ROM for the moto g. I found one and flashed that instead, it did infact save my device and i was so happy at the point, but then i noticed that at the top on my task bar it said i had no signal on BOTH Sdcards when infact this phone only has 1!? (my o2 simcard was in at the time) Anyway i went into setting and it had above he wifi setting "Dual SIM settings" which i have never even seen before. Anyway i clikced on that and it says 'SIM1 Disabled' and below it says 'SIM2 Disabled' Also my Mobile DATA has vanished to. All this worked before i went and screwed up my device. Im kind of in a panic and really dont want to loose this phone :crying: :crying: Please can anyone help get me back my signal and data, other then that everything else is working normal.
Screenshots Attached.

You have flashed a single sim variant of the stock ROM on your device, find the dual sim version for your phone here: http://sbf.droid-developers.org/phone.php?device=14
Also, of course your data has gone as your phone has undergone a reset and firmware flash
All of them are not for 4.4.4 or does that not matter?

Absolutely. From experience, you must flash the dual sim variant. Unfortunately, there is 4.4.4 available, but only for the States. You might PM me the OTA update package and I'll be able to help.
Sent from my XT1022 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Cant find it?
Cant find any for O2 uk or retail UK or duel sim or even 4.4.4

Hi guys,
Im andrew fro the philippines. So i got this samsung grand prime sm g531f from saudi arabia and it was region locked and i cant fix it on my own. And so i had it rooted and the region lock removed. That was more than a month ago. I actually dont have any idea how the repairman fix my phone. I just know that he installed an app called SuperSU.
The problem came yesterday when i turned my phone on. To my surprise the net work is locked again. It is again asking for PIN/PUK and saying that the sim is not valid. I tried to fix it, looking for tips from the internet like
- removing the sim card and putting it back
- checking if my phone is still rooted and according to root checker it still is
- using the root explorer and hex editor
- using the region lock away but it didnt work coz it is asking for a csc data
- accessing the recovery mode (i dont actually know what to do while in recovery mode)
I dont know what to do next bec. According to some internet posts region unlocking is permanent then how come my phone got locked again. I suspected thati may have done some things that led to this. These are:
- my phone memory is getting consumed and so i was forced to transfer a lot files from the phone to the sd card memory the night before.
- i charged my phone thru the usb port of my computer for about an hour or two.
Please help me remove the region lock again. The repair shop where i had it fixed is 7 hour drive from where i live. If possible i wanted to fix this by myself. Thank you guys. I hope you could help me.

Hi Andrew
Thanks for using XDA Assist. I see you've posted in this section. There doesn't seem to be much activity in the galaxy prime forum. Try pointing your question to the Android Q&A,Help and Troubleshooting. Apologies for the late reply.
Hi all,
I have been searching in some threads, and I could not find any valuable answer. Is it actually possible to sim unlock (offline) the Galaxy Note 5/Sprint variant ?
I just bought one, and I am living in Burkina Faso. I had it working fine, until I entered the Download Mode screen (out of curiosity). I did nothing special and tried to Cancel out. Unfortunately, OEM unlocking was not off. I got the bootloop screen displaying the Samsung Logo with the red message in the upper-left corner saying "custom binary blocked by frp lock".
I googled a bit then discovered that flashing a stock rom was the solution. I downloaded stock firmware N920PVPS3DQF1_N920PSPT3DQF1_SPR.zip (based on Android 7) and then flashed it via Odin. It went fine, and I could turn on the phone. All the data were there, but no way to get my local sim card to work.
Is there any one who can help here ?
Much thanks in advance.

Hey man many of us in the same predicament. I found that flashing a different modem (CP) will help get some SIM
Capabilities. Not perfect but you can receive and make calls use 3g (no LTE) but cannot send SMS. I'm also searching for solutions
Search Google for " flashing radio for SMN920P" is a .tar file and you flash it via Odin
So I recently bought an S7 and was happy with it, until I got hit with an FRP lock that wouldn't let me boot. So I flashed the stock ROM from sammobile, this fixed the boot problem but now I can't use my phone to call or text, I can only use wi-fi, I have "emergency calls only" displayed where the network should be... I have tried reflashing the ROM several times, different modems and no luck, I also tried smartswitch which also didn't help. I have no clue what to do now. :crying: all similar threads about this are old. Someone pls help me.
You must flash the correct firmware for your device.
