Need a Boot.img for KitKat 4.4.4 (Sprint SM-N915P)

Hello everyone, I posted a thread previously needing help downgrading from lollipop to KitKat (Note edge Sprint SM-N915P). A very nice member "kain1979" replied and enlightened me that i need to flash the bootloader first for kitkat 4.4.4. The problem is I've downloaded the original firmware from Sammobile.com , and when i open up the file with WINRAR, it doesn't contain boot.img (Bootloader). Even after extracting the file boot.img is not present. I ran a google search and also searched with XDA developers website but no luck.
I will really appreciate it if anyone knows how to pull or can pull the boot.img from the firmware or direct me to a link or page to get the boot.img for 4.4.4 kitkat for sprint note edge SM-N915P.

If you want to find out yourself, you first make a dump of all your partitions.
Then compare the size of the partition of the same for the other phones.
Only then will make a decision whether the risk is worthwhile.

Have you tried >this< or >that<?
If both methods fail, it may mean that there is simply no KDZ on this model and region.
If there is KDZ, then please link here.

do these roms contain bloatware installed by the providers?

If they are stuck somewhere files directly from your provider then yes they would include the bloatware that your provider uses

I do not have a dll for these firmwares, however, you can use LG UPPERCUT for a generic dll.
LG UP or maybe older LG Tools for TOT may help in flashing
Google if you are not sure how to flash TOT firmwares!
Do not revert to an older version as it can brick your device

Rooting your device OR using a box like octopus/Z3X might be able to help. Usually mobile software techs own these!

yes i confirm that file is not valid... can't be converted with octopus or write using LGUP.....

salam
i have same probleme like security error affter bad unlock with z3x
you have a bad carrier partition and flash cant slove your probleme you need to read carrier partition from another phone and flash it to your phone.
only full flash readed by z3x can have this partition !!!

Finding firmware (ELS-N04)/suggestions to install?

So, I have a P40 Pro ELS-N04 with build no. 10.1. 0.148 (C792E7R3P1)
Canadian user here.
I tried using googefier, and concluded I would need to downgrade for it to be able to use LZplay, a lot of people seem to suggest .131 for this, so I've been looking around for the firmware to use or how to proceed.
I've searched a few firmware sources and haven't had anything come up for some reason.
I did see a link on ictfix (new user, can't share link) , which lists ELS-N04 in the YouTube title, but not the download link, but I'm not sure how to verify this without bricking my phone...
Am I right in the simplest list way to do this as well is with a USB?
And that it previously could be done with standard HiSuite, but newer versions have anti rollback and older HiSuite can't connect to newer devices?
Any advice would be appreciated.

Hey guys fellow Canadian here, I have the same model as you guys and have managed to downgrade and install GMS on my device.
Here is a great guide on how to downgrade your device using HiSuite and HiSuite Proxy:
I have went ahead and grabbed the links you guys will need to paste into HiSuite Proxy to downgrade your device. I recommend using 10.1.0.121.

I legit just posted a working firmware. 10.1.0.121. Currently running it.

After using ELS-LGRP4-OVS 10.1.0.121, you can update to new firmware by OTA on your phone?
I noted that I did as ictfix guide (10.1.0.131 and 10.1.0.134) and mobile cannot update by OTA. It is stopping at version 10.1.0.134 due to used ELS-NX9

You will have to update to EMUI 11 using the same method as downgrading. Use firmware finder to find the proper Firmware for your device and after installing GMS etc you can update using HiSuite and HiSuite Proxy.

My phone is the original firmware version ELS-LGRP4-OVS 10.1.0.148 (C792E7R3P1).
I downgraded to both ELS-LGRP4-OVS 10.1.0.131, ELS-LGRP4-OVS 10.1.0.134 to install GMS, I tried many times but the phone lost OTA.
I have just updated to version ELS-LGRP4-OVS 10.1.0.148 and, now I can update the phone by OTA.
Perhaps the phone is flagship with version ELS-LGRP4-OVS 10.1.0.148 (C792E7R3P1), so the phone cannot update OTA on ELS-LGRP4-OVS 10.1.0.131, ELS-LGRP4-OVS 10.1.0.134. And we need update to original version to get OTA.

Watch the video I linked, all you need to a few links pasted into HiProxy and run HiSuite on your computer. With the proxy running, HiSuite will think your phone has a regular update etc. However, it will the firmware you specified.

Were you able to download from the link above. I continue to get errors both in browser and in HiSuite Proxy. Do you still have this .zip file?

I too am a Canadian with a P40 Pro ELS-N04 with build no. 10.1. 0.148 (C792E7R3P1). I can not seem to get links from #3 and #10 above to work. In fact nothing appear to work from the http://update.dbankcdn.com/... site. Any help with locating a previous build 10.1.0.131 so I can install Google Services would be greatly appreciated. Unfortunately it appears that the firmware files are no longer there. "Error - Mostly likely the firmware was removed from the server" from the firmware finder.

I haven't tried the HiSuite Proxy method yet. A little nervous about that as I hear if can brick your phone.
Trying to locate an older matching firmware file still but no luck. Ideally I'd just have this an D-Load it into the phone after downgrading from EMUI 11 to 10 (latest) using HiSuite.

I was too late too the party. Damn it

I myself am another user of a Canadian P40 pro and i realized that it's probably the rarest one to have the right firmware on to the updates and have google on it. We must find a way around it so we patch the small community who doesn't have those update or google services at the same time.
