Anybody know a good tutorial to install a custom recovery on this model?
I already searched this forum and google, can't find anything

That androidforums thread virtually ended in november 2014... with a question related to this topic. Besides, that one was for an older Ascend. Frankly, it seems no one really has an answer regarding bootloader unlock or custom recovery for any G730 version yet. Perhaps we'll never see a straight solution on that matter for this device, since apparently there is no developer interested on it out there. Sad
... But man, at least we can root!

I don't know. That's a 2011 topic.... It say's 'for Huawei Ascend', but there's a lot of 'Huawei Ascend' phones and not everyone of them is created equal...

If you want to find out yourself, you first make a dump of all your partitions.
Then compare the size of the partition of the same for the other phones.
Only then will make a decision whether the risk is worthwhile.

Have you tried >this< or >that<?
If both methods fail, it may mean that there is simply no KDZ on this model and region.
If there is KDZ, then please link here.

K428 -No Link.

do these roms contain bloatware installed by the providers?

If they are stuck somewhere files directly from your provider then yes they would include the bloatware that your provider uses

al actualizar a H81021Y no puedes desinstalar aplicaciones el celular se reinicia no puedes instalar .apk ya q no puedes entrar a seguridad NO ACTUALIZAR tampoco es posible regresar a una versión anterior. No actualizar a H81021Y

You cannot downgrade... and no to update you will need an att SIM card.

As I can see noone can confirm that this firmware is good so far, so I call the administrator to delete this thread because it may lead to disaster. If you brick H810 there's no way back.

Can someone please tell me how can i upgrade my LG G4 - At&t from (H81020n) to (H81021y) with tot file....Currently i am using H81020n with marshmallow....I am facing issues with phone security like i am unable to lock my device with pattern or password....Any Link or help from anyone would be highly appreciated.

No. Not anymore as you upgraded to 21y which has an ARB of 3.
So no UsU or other way because you upgraded..
Regarding your issues try to factory reset it MAY help.

Having ARB of 3 also means that i can not root my device or install custom rom on it ??

Here is TOT for LG X POWER LS755, for everyone.
I have not tested it myself and I take no responsibility.

I do not have a dll for these firmwares, however, you can use LG UPPERCUT for a generic dll.
LG UP or maybe older LG Tools for TOT may help in flashing
Google if you are not sure how to flash TOT firmwares!
Do not revert to an older version as it can brick your device
Please share your experience!

Rooting your device OR using a box like octopus/Z3X might be able to help. Usually mobile software techs own these!

yes i confirm that file is not valid... can't be converted with octopus or write using LGUP.....

i have same probleme like security error affter bad unlock with z3x
you have a bad carrier partition and flash cant slove your probleme you need to read carrier partition from another phone and flash it to your phone.
only full flash readed by z3x can have this partition !!!

Is there a solution to unlock it?
I saw the way on this forum and tried it, but it worked for the old version of the B612 software and does not work in the new version.
Now the firmware version is 11.197.03.00.1472 and I do not know how to unlock it.
If you know, please help me.
