Samsung Galaxy Note Edge N915G, non rooted phone is stuck in boot loop!!!PLEASE HELP - General Questions and Answers

Hello All,
This may seem like a regular problem but it's not.
I own a Galaxy note edge N915G - Indian model. not rooted even once.
This morning when I reset my phone and I was reinstalling the apps, my phone was working fine, but when I initialized WhatsApp my phone went into BOOTLOOP.
I tried installing the official latest firmware from sam mobile N915GXXU1DPK6_N915GODD1DPK3_INS for my phone using Odin 3.10.6.
Also, factory reset and cache cleared after flashing the stock rom,
But I still don't have any luck in clearing the boot loop.
As my phone is not rooted I don't know what else to do.
I tried with Odin 3.12.5 too. but no luck.
I also tried the firmware N915GXXU1DPK6_N915GODD1DPK3_INU from sam mobile but it is still stuck in the bootloop.
I can go in the recovery and the download mode but cannot get it fired up.
I have nowhere to go as the phone is out of warranty just this month.
Is there any other solution for this or something I have to do differently?
Please help me as I am out of my country now and I have no phone to use other than this.

PROBLEM!!! my galaxy s6 is stuck in a boot loop.

i have not used my phone in any wrong way. i did not install a custom rom or anything. no root. randomly in my evedy day normal usage of my phone, it started to restart. and the the problem got worse and worse. for a few minutes, i will be able to use my phone but then my phone will restart and be stuck restarting. most of the times i cant even go into recovery mode. it restarts again when i get to that. i already reseted my phone, and i wiped the partition.
i have a samsung galaxy s6 SM-G920W8 telus/koodo 32 gb. i got the battery replaced by samsung but that didnt work. i noticed that after a few hours, my phone stops restarting when it reaches to 10% battery life.
WHAT DO I DO?? YOU GUYS ARE THE PHONE EXPERTS!!
You might want to try re-flashing the firmware. If that doesn't fix it, then you probably have a faulty device.
i tried reflashing but now i got "there has been an error updating the softawre. please use smart switch to recover" or something like that. and my phone is not supported by smart switch..... and when ever i try using odin, i always get NAND write error.i have a telus locked phone, 5.0.2 or 5.1.1 firmware. it is the latest odin and i have the drivers and i tried several solutions but that didnt help with the NAND write error.

Have you tried the original LATEST firmware from SamMobile? Using the original cable? The latest version of Odin?

latest telus/koodo version i can find for my galaxy s6 SM-G920w8 is 5.0.2. i only use my origional usb cable. i always get nand write error. my version is 3.10.7 of odin.
phone: SM-G920WZKATLS
locked to: telus/koodo
firmware: 5.0.2
i tried a 5.1.1 update too but that didnt work. i tried a rogers one but i still got nand write failure. on my s6, it says "
system rev. check fail device: 2 binary 1"
Ok...make sure you enable developer options...and enable OEM unlock....also go to security settings and make sure Reactivation lock is disabled or unchecked. ..then try flashing the firmware and it should go through just fine

i managed to flash a rogers firmware using the samfirm software but my phone is still restarting multiple times
My sister had a Galaxy S4 that would randomly reboot once in a while. Over time it became more frequent until it would barely finish booting before it would restart. Eventually it stopped turning on altogether.
Before it died completely, I tried different firmware versions and three different batteries and no change. I even took out the motherboard and put it in another S4 and it still wouldn't boot. Put the other S4's motherboard into the broken phone and it worked just fine. So it was something on the motherboard that died.
Sounds like a similar issue with your S6. Fact is, if a full wipe and firmware flash doesn't fix it, it's a hardware issue and there's nothing we can do.

Stock S6 stuck on Samsung logo after enabling UPSM; Data recovery?

Hi all,
I have a standard s6 with stock EE (UK) firmware 6.0.1 installed (non rooted) . The other day I put it in UPSM mode. But soon after, the phone just restarted and now just gets stuck on the Samsung logo screen. If left long enough, the phone vibrates once.
I can get in to both recovery and 'download' mode. Tried wipe cache and flashing the same firmware using odin. Odin goes through successfully but the device still gets stuck at the same place.
The main thing is that I need to get the data off the phone. Any ideas how I can do this,( I don't think USB debugging or developer mode were/are enabled) ? Or indeed remedy the boot loop?
Thanks
Any advice on this folks?
If anyone knows of a way I can recover the data at least, whilst the phone is in this state, would be appreciated. The only thing I have not tried yet is a factory reset from recovery (because of data loss). If I am able to recover the data and then a factory reset fails, I am still under warranty so that should not be an issue.
Thanks in advanced.

[Completed] Samsung S7 Active Keeps rebooting before getting to home screen

Hi, I recently tried to root my Samsung S7 Active G891A. I download something that was supposed to "root" my phone and installed it via Odin. After the install it said complete and I tried to boot up my Phone and it wouldn't boot up. It was go to the screen where its says "Samsung S7 Active" then the screen would go dark and it would replay again. I've tried reseting my cache and Factory Reseting everything but that doesn't work via recovery mode. Im guessing my original firmware is corrupted but I dont know how to go about fixing that. Can some please help me?

Greetings and welcome to assist. Is this the guide you used to root your phone ? If you hsve flashed the wrong files with odin that is probably the issue. The easiest way to make your phone boot is with smartswitch emergency firmware recovery
Good Luck

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is not booting even after a factory reset

My Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is not booting even after a factory reset
A mobile app. for Android was installed successfully and since then I’m only having issues with my Samsung mobile:
- Since the installation of both the Hockey & Mobile Banking apps, my mobile freezes during any regular action and after a few seconds the device auto-restarts itself intermittently; this happened during the weekend while in use;
- Sunday night I uninstalled both the Hockey & Mobile Banking apps and the phone continued to freeze and restart intermittently. I was able to boot in SAFE MODE.
- This morning after the phone was turned off and turned on, the phone is not loading; the boot is looping and unable to reach the menu. I’m able to boot in SAFE MODE.
- This morning I did a Factory Reset, when done I get the “welcome” screen and right thereafter, the mobile freezes, auto-restarts and the boot keep looping.
Any help would be highly appreciated.
Hey guys, any suggestions...? I tried last night restoring the OS using Samsung Smart Switch application and the process went just fine the first time and during the setup process the phone just restarted against and for stuck in bootloop again.
I did a second attempt but after the PC is don and the phone boots it gets stuck.
Sometimes after restoring stock firmware and you get a bootloop, you have to boot to stock recovery and factory reset then wipe cache partition.
I know you said you did that once before you posted, you did that before you used SmartSwitch. Have you tried factory reset since restoring with SmartSwitch?
Yes, I did with SS last night; I did it again this morning and after completing the 100% software download, it started updating the device and at 97% it stopped and got the message "FAILED".
now as we speak, I restarted it again and now it's at 66^ downloading the files.
How can I perform a clean install using SS...? or do I need ODIN...? I want to keep the mobile as original as possible.
If you can find your stock firmware, download it and flash it with Odin, it's more reliable.
Maybe a stupid question: Where can I find my stock firmware...?
My info:
PDAIX / CSCI2 / PHONE: PHH (XFA)
I found the Firmware on SAMMOBILE: https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/galaxy-s6-edge/SM-G925F/XFA/download/G925FXXU4DPIX/108273/
Is this a stock Firmware and reliable source...?
Sammobile is a very reliable source, if that firmware is the newest one for your model number and country/region/carrier then you're good to go.
I did install Firmware corresponding to my phone (PDAIX / CSCI2 / PHONE: PHH (XFA)) using Odin, I can use the phone for like 2 or 3 minutes and then it freezes, restarts and gets into boot loop.
Any more drastic measurements to take...? Is there an online tool to test the hardware function(s)...?
After flashing stock firmware, have you tried booting to stock recovery then do the factory reset and wipe cache then reboot.
Yes, I did...!
In ODIN, do I load only the "AP"...?
In most situations, AP is all you need if the firmware is an all in one firmware file, if you have a 4 part firmware then you need to put each part in its corresponding tab/slot in Odin.
Sometimes you have to flash more than once to be successful.
My phone is running like a horse now...! No more intermittent restarts nor boot looping.
I just did a clean install of Android 7.
The clean install of Android 7 went fine and now it's working back again, was because I changed the "Reactivation Lock" to OFF; I think this helped.

Galaxy S8 stuck in bootloop

My S8 randomly froze yesterday, shut off, and wont boot since. I tried a factory reset with twrp, didnt work. Normally, I'd just reinstall the firmware, but Odin doesn't detect my phone. So now, I have a few questions: What could the original problem be, how to fix that, why doesnt Odin detect my phone, and how fix that, and also additionally how to see my model number in twrp because I'm not 100% sure about it. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!
