[Completed] Music plays but no audio (samsung) - XDA Assist

I recently downloaded a Samsung Galaxy s6 marshmallow update using Odin. When I started up the phone I signed into my Google account then went to Google play music to find my music and when I clicked on a song it played but no audio. I put on headphones and not even the audio icon appeared. I downloaded sound about to fix that. Then I went to YouTube, watched movies, and went on the Web browser and heard audio just fine. Restarted the phone downloaded other music players and still couldn't hear my music. What happened?

Hi !
This problem can be fixed by cleaning cache and data of the application , sometimes an update can break certain functionalities
If still doesn`t work , save your data and perform a factory reset
Good luck !

Help! Google Music streaming error on Android App

Ever since I got my new phone, I've used Google Play Music because I love it so much. But whenever it streams music that's not off the phone, about two thirds through the song, it always stops and then states "Could not play the stream you requested" No matter what I do it still does it, low quality or high quality, 3G or Wifi. I've cleared the cache countless times, I've uninstalled updates and restarted and reinstalled updates like suggested in another post, but nothing works! I switched from SiriusXM app to the Google Music All Access since it was cheaper and now it's doing this still! So frustrating! I only have 2 devices authorized as well. Please help!
Phone is rooted LG AS730 (LG Optimus Select)
Thank you,
What's going on with the stream stopping!?
I'm having the same issue! It's very frustrating. I am actually prepared to pay for the Google streaming service but at this point I think I may just have to cancel it before the 30 day trial is complete. LG Optimus G

[Q] Sound (Music Issues)

I recently purchased a SM-P905V. Everything was working perfectly fine, I rooted about a week ago and everything was working well after that as well. Yesterday I went to use Slacker Radio and all music and sound function stopped working. After playing around a bit I found that after I restart the tablet, whenever I try to play music in ANY music app (streaming OR mp3) all sounds would stop functioning and even the Sounds section in settings would freeze when I went to select it. Up until that point all regular sounds (system, Youtube, most apps) work perfectly fine but then they stop as well and the system becomes incredibly unstable.
Things I've already tried:
- Uninstalling every App since rooting
- Uninstalling every other app not built in
- Clearing the cache
- Factory Reset
- Unrooting and then Factory Reset
- Factory Resetting and starting with a clean/new Google account (in case it was a setting or something that was backed up to my account)
Does anyone have any clue how else I might fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

[HELP] Music stutters (every ROM, every music player)

Hello guys. I've been having this issue since I've first bought my Nexus 5, thought I could finally solve it if I shared it with you.
Almost one year ago, I got my Nexus, and since I didn't like Play Music at all I downloaded Poweramp from the Play Store. I immediately noticed that some song in my library stuttered and skipped. I tried to set Audio Thread Priority and Audio Buffer higher in Poweramp, but that was useful. Then, using other audio players (I'm using Shuttle+ now) I realized the hiccups would show up at the same points in the same songs. When I tried to delete one of my troubled songs and to transfer it again on my device via USB, the skipping was gone. This makes me guess this is some kind of memory problem. Furthermore, I can't do the replace thing for all of my 4000+ songs; if I delete all of my songs and then I transfer all of them again, the hiccups show up again randomly in other songs.
During this time, I made the switch from stock 4.4.4 to CM11, and then back to stock 5.0 when it came out a month ago, but this issue has always been present. I recorded an example of an hiccup and I attached it here. You can clearly hear that at 3 and 19 seconds mark. Has this kind of issue affected someone else? Can it be solved at all?
Anyone?

Sounds like you're having file transfer problems to me. Not sure how you can fix that. Maybe try a different method of getting music on your phone.

[Q] Get playlists back into Google Music???

Jeeze I hope this in in the right place! sorry if it's not. I keep my music on my phone, and don't stream at all. I do flash my phone a bit, and often do full wipes. I just re-load my music from my laptop back onto my phone. But any of the playlists I've set up seem to only then appear when I have Google Music set to download music too. But to save on data I normally have that turned off. When I create a playlist using the songs on my phone it's there when downloading is turned off. But after a reinstall and reload of my music it only appears when I have downloading on and the only way it works is if I allow it to download the playlist again, even though the music is already on my phone.
Does anyone know a way to get the playlist back into my Google Music account without actually downloading the songs which are already there on my phone.
Thanks heaps

Google play all access issues

Hi guys,
Recently I have issues with Google play all access playing downloaded files. The sound stops, but the time keeps ticking as if it is playing. If I turn the screen off, the music plays fine. If I stream through the same app, as opposed to downloaded music, it's also fine.
I did a factory reset which totally fixed the issue, but came back only a few weeks later.
Short of continuous factory resets, any ideas? This is obviously incredibly annoying.
Other players play local music fine, but as I own very little music, it's all streamed, this wouldn't really work as an alternative...
Thanks in advance!
