Hello everybody, since few weeks, i found that my Smartphone wasn't detected by any computer when i'm using USB, it was charging but nothing more.
I tried to restore it but it failed, so now i can't boot anymore on system. Odin never detect it.
Only things i can do with the phone is rebooting in download mode and recovery too, i can't flash it cause of USB.
Sure i've already tried to uninstall drivers, reinstalling, changing cables, but nothing changed.
Smartphone is a G920F Samsung Galaxy S6.
If there is any solution to kick his ass back, let me know .
Hi there and welcome to Assist,
Try this:
Power down your phone completely, boot up in download mode (power + home + volume down).
Open Smart Switch and click on "More" on the right upper side of the window, "Emergency software recovery and initialization".
Click on the "Software update and initialization" tab.
Insert the model of your phone, e.g. SM-G920F and click search.
Now insert the S/N of your phone. You can see it on the bottom back of your phone. Click confirm and it will Download the latest stock firmware for your phone.
From this point on it's self explanatory. You have to be patient because it's a long process.
You'll have to create an account to post in the main forums.

Hey everyone, I'm using a GT-P5100 (3G + Wifi) O2 UK rooted tablet and for the last month it has been broken. It started rebooting itself randomly every now and then, and then suddenly it wouldn't even boot up for 15 seconds before it would restart itself again.
I am able to get into safe mode and I can get into the boot options, but when I factory reset it does nothing, I've tried from the boot menu, from safe-mode options and even from the dial up code.
I tried to connect my tablet to my PC as a media device and format it but that didn't work either; I can't connect it as a disk then format it that way because they took out 'mass storage mode' on this firmware.
I then tried to flash a stock ROM in Odin but every time I tried it would fail until I used Odin.v1.3, but guess what, it rebooted itself and my entire tablet is still exactly the same.
(the option was on AP ram in v1.3 not AP nand I don't know if that makes a difference.)
If anyone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it so much. I have been trying for weeks to fix this and I just don't know what to do anymore, I tried on another forum but nobody answered me.
Hi,

Make sure kies is not running to use Odin. End all kies processes in your task manager on the pc.
Good luck!
Thank you very much I have posted it there instead ^^
Thank you. Thread closed.
My sim card wasnt working and to fix that i decided to format my phone by flashing Stock ROM using Odin [I had root], running on Cyanogenmod. While doing so, it was taking a hell lot of time and I didnt know what to do, so i pulled the cable and restarted the phone and this message came on: "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in kies & try again."
So i did that using kies, followed the procedure..downloaded the firmware to the computer, blah blah, but while "transferring that to the mobile phone" procedure, it got stuck at 0% and for hours it wont move!!
I tried using Odin again, but it just dont work!!
Please help me!!..I cant even go to my phone now..my (Home + Power button + Volume down) is accessible, but not recovery.
Hi,
Asking here in this help thread in your device section would be best,

A couple ideas too.... Try a different version of Odin. Also, Odin usually fails if Kies is running. End all kies processes in the task manager on the pc. Try a different cable and USB port on your PC. And forget kies, it won't work if your rooted or are not completely stock.
Again, for more help, ask in the thread I linked above.
Good luck!

HI,
I am having Samsung galaxy grand2 sm-g7102 INS 4.3 ANDROID.
Three month back i rooted my phone. I did using some you tube videos later i am not feeling comfortable with the rooted device. so i plan to unroot it. I removed the super user from my mobile and i downloaded the firmware from sammobile and odin3 v3.09. All the connections from my mobile to PC is working nicely. Before installing the official ROM i tried to make my phone into recovery mode by pressing power+vol up+home then recovery boot screen comes and suddenly mobile gets off. So i thought it will take time to get the list of wipe factory mode and clear cache. I waited for more than 1 hour nothing has come still mobile in off. I am worried my mobile got some critical problem so i did not try it again. My question is it's a usual thing while unrooting the mobile or it has some critical problem.
Hi,
You use download mode to flash with Odin, not recovery mode. Also, Kies should not be running when you use Odin. Kill all kies processes in your task manager on the pc.
I've read about not being able to downgrade, or you will brick and other device specific warnings, so best to ask for further help from the experts who own your device, here...

Good luck!
My brother installed cyanogenmod on this tablet, and i didn't like it, so i tried flashing the GT-P1000 stock firmware via ODIN. It didn't brick but it wasn't the right firmware so i tried going back to cyanogenmod and i bricked it. It doesn't turn on if i hold the power button and once i plug it onto the charger it gives me a blinking PHONE ------!------ COMPUTER screen, and i can't get into downloading mode or recovery mode the only option i have is to press POWER+VOL UP+VOL DOWN and a screen which shows "Power reset or uknown upload mode" appears.
How can i solve this? Do i just wait for it to charge completely and try flashing a pit via ODIN?
Any help is appreciated

I'm just getting started trying to root my Galaxy Tab S SM-T700, and I have run into a couple problem.
I have installed the USB drivers from Samsung, and I have downloaded and extracted CF_AutoRoot to my desktop.
Now the website I was using to tell me how to do it says that next I need to download the CWM Recovery Image, which brought me to this site.
When I click the link to download it, I get a blue/purple screen saying Access Denied.
Also it says that I have to enter download mode on my Tab S by powering down, then turning it back on holding the power_volume down buttons, and this does not seem to work, it just turns on, but it stays on the powering on splash screen until I release the buttons, and when I release the buttons, it just powers on like normal.
I was going to link a screen shot of the Access Denied thing, but this forum will not let me.
