[Completed] Q: System Rev. Check Fail. Device:1, Binary:0 - XDA Assist

Okay so i have a rooted Samsung Galaxy J200G and i was flashing an earlier version of stock firmware through flashfire. After completion my phone is stuck on the startup screen with Samsung Galaxy Logo and this written on top "System Rev. Check Fail. Device:1, Binary:0".
Now i can't go into the recovery because it says "Recovery is not Seandroid Enforcing System Rev. Check Fail. Device:1, Binary:0"
All I can do is go into download mode. I can't flash firmware through odin because it always fails at NAND Write. I tried a couple of firmwares but it fails every single time.
Any help would be really appreciated.
PS I have TWRP backup of my firmware. Since i cannot go into recovery, is there another way to restore it?

Flash the right kernel! I had the same issue!
I had the same problem. Just flash recovery firmware for your device using Samsung Smart Switch. Works perfectly.

Need some help flashing stock rom on my S7

I've been trying to fix a bootloop on my S7 (SM-G930R4) by flashing the stock rom with ODIN but it fails each time. It used to be rooted but i flashed the stock rom after my first bootloop hoping it wouldn't happen again. There's red text on my phone that says "SW REV CHECK FAIL: [aboot]Fused 4 > Binary 2
[1]eMMc write fail: aboot". This started after an OTA update that I was unable to postpone. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Samsung S6 edge softbrick

My friend tried to unroot his phone using the super SU app.
SuperSU prompted something about SOTA's and he clicked on yes.
Then the phone got stuck in a bootloop and tried a recovery flash with odin.
That failed and the phone couldnt boot at all.
Now we are trying to flash the stock rom but i cant find the propper stock firmware to flash.
We keep getting errors.
First i attempted to flash android 5.1.1 which resulted in an sw rev check failed device: 5 binary: 1
then we tried to flash android 6.x and we got sw rev check failed device: 5 binary: 4.
After trying to flash android 7 we got Secure check failed: bootloader. (or something like that).
Now i downloaded a good version from sammobile. and odin can not load the tar file.
What am i doing wrong?

phone boots in download mode instead of recovery

after flashing my gt 19300 with firmware of a gt 19300i (accidentally), i cannot flash the correct firmware and odin keeps giving me errors like repartition failed, operation write failed. please help.
Hint: In this thread's title replace "phone" by "gt19300" thus owners of such device get addressed.

Odin fails to flash stock firmware

So I have an old SM-G920W8 that was with Rogers, but when I turned it on it would get stuck on the galaxy s6 screen. So I tried entering the recovery thing or whatever it was called but there was text at the top left that said "recovery is not seandroid enforcing", so then I tried to flash the stock firmware back on with Odin 3.10.6 with the ROM I got from Frija, but it fails every time.

Hmm ... Should work.
Have you downloaded the correct firmware?
Best to check the installation guide again and repeat it:
Samsung Galaxy S6 SM-G920W8 Stock Firmware (ROM Flash File) [DOWNLOAD]
Download the official Samsung Galaxy S6 SM-G920W8 Stock Firmware ROM (Flash File) for your Samsung Smartphone and unbrick the device, fix boot loop and more.
firmwarepanda.com
Keep in mind that flashing a different CSC with Odin needs doing a factory reset with doing data.
That is why I always prefer using "Home_CSC" to keep my CSC and data.

Hi, I've got a Galaxy S6 G920F on Vodafone that I am trying to downgrade from 7.0 to 6 or 5 so that I can go through with an unlocking procedure but I keep getting the error message " SW REV. CHECK FAIL. DEVICE: 5, BINARY 3". Can anyone help?

Seems that you have to flash another firmware version.
