Hi. I've tried looking everywhere to find the answer and I've no luck at all. I'm trying set my start day of the calendar app on the Gear S2 to start on Sunday. Right now, the first day of the week from left to right is SSMTWTF and I want it to show SMTWTFS. I've seen images online that shows it starting from Sunday and not Saturday. Please help. Thanks.
I think this just changed with one of the recent updates. I seem to remember it being Sun-Sat previously. I've looked for a way to change it in settings, but no luck. Hopefully, they'll correct it in the next update, or give us an option to change it!

A few weeks ago, I installed WM6.1 on my Tilt, using vL26_3.53.502.0_WM6.1_PRO_V1 (not sure who created it).
My issue is that now, even though I have set it to display dates in US format, it is still showing them in UK format.
Also, I cannot seem to get it to display 12 hour time, instead of 24 hour time.
Anyone know if there is a fix for this?
Thanks,
Steve

In the future, please ask in the appropriate thread. This is not a ROM development issue, it's an issue with a specfic ROM.
For starters try looking in
HKLM\nls\overrides
in the regsitry.

Searching a bit will help next time, but:
Check under >Settings >System >Regional Settings> and make sure the region is right, and then under Time you should have Time style look like h:mm:ss. If you have HH, that will skrew it up.
Check under >Settings >System >Clock and Alarms> and make sure your home settings are correct too.
Check them both, make sure they're right, and then soft reset, pushing the power button until it asks if you want to turn the phone off.
You need to go into regional settings to make the change in both date and time. Remember for the time to scroll up to find the time ending in tt. Do a soft reset after changing the settings.
BTW - this has been address a bunch of times already.
Ok so I understand that this is probably a setting that i must of overlooked but i've been trying to find information about it for the past few days now. A few days back i changed the option to XDA classic but decided i didn't like it so i changed it back. This is around the time i noticed the search button missing and ontop of that its overlaying on the screen messed up. It didn't do this before and i'm not sure what i did or if maybe XDA is just improving their search button and thats why i'm having problems but its starting to bother me big time. I really did search for the answers as best i could without having use of the search button but i came up empty handed. Also if i got to my name it normally brought me right to the statistics where i could find my posts and so forth but now it brings me to About Me. No big deal though since all i need to do its select statistics which is right next to it but when i go to find posts i was in or threads i started i get "vBulletin Message, Searching has been disabled". Who disabled it and if it was me how can i enable it again? I would be very greatful if someone could shed some light on this and tell me what i'm doing wrong. UHGG!! I feel so stupid because i know its probably something small i'm doing wrong.
It's problem w/ board and admins are working to fix it.
Patience.
Huge thanks.
As i said i wasn't sure if it was something i was doing but i noticed it right when i was changing the style around. Thats a huge releif knowing it wasn't from something I did. I have no problem waiting patiently.
Not sure if I'll describe my issue correctly, but I'll give it a go. A few months ago I noticed a cool new feature that showed when I took a screen shot quick links to share, open, etc. I also use Touchdown for email. When new messages arrived I would get a notification along with a prompts to view, delete, mark as read. I'm not sure if that was part of the Jellybean update or what. But then one day this cool new feature stopped. Recently it started again. It worked for at least a couple weeks, then I noticed today that it stopped again, I still get email notifications just not that new feature with the quick links.
Any ideas on how to get it back?
I think this normal..
Those feature come out depending how much notification you receive and how long you receive it..
Correct me if I'm wrong..

the automatically appear for the first notification ... otherwise if the email notification is the second one try the pinch zoom gesture on that notification ... i think that should do it ... and yes thats part of jelly bean expandable notifications
Pinching did the trick. I'm not sure why they'd want that punching feature.
I have had this tablet for awhile and now it has been shelved as newer devices have been brought into use and it's sort of "obsolete" but still works thanks to Timduru. I'm wanting to see if anyone knows of an app or some sort of setup that would enable me to use this tablet as a message/info center (always on) that could either be hung on the wall or set on a desktop. Ideally it would display either digital photos or current weather radar as a screen saver, but anybody (in my home) could tap the screen and get messages or notes (sent by me from another device). What got me to thinking about this is that I work in the transportation industry (railroad) which takes me out of town often and when I'm returning home it would be better to be able to post a message to my wife/family that I'm on my way than to send a text because it is often very early in the morning and I don't like waking anyone up for such a message (they have to get up early enough as it is during the school year). So I was thinking it would be neat that they could just check that message board for messages/news just to see if I checked in. I'm sure there's a plethora of apps that do any of those individual tasks, but I have never seen one that "does it all". Hopefully I described what I'm looking for clearly and understandably, if so, can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks ahead of time!
sorry for the double post. Tried to correct the obvious spelling error in the title (thanks again spell-check, you bastard) and it did that. Can the moderator delete the first one? Thanks!
