That's my first thread here so be patient if I made some bad mistake...
Hi recently installed on my SONY Xperia U the SlimCM rom with atis modify to install it on locked bootloaders...
I've 2 weird problem that I think dont depend from SlimCM so I post that here:
- The clock that appear after tap on clock widget was really pityfull(only alarm setup)...there some mod or something else tha I can install to get some app like the stock clock/alarm/world clock/ chronometer/timer that appear on standard ony rom? I tryed to search on the net but dont found anything...maybe due to my bad english...
- another problem that I heave was that the BackUp&Restoer app by sony dont works on that rom....I tryed to extract it from the stock ftf rom and installe dit but dont works...it FC imediately after tapping on it...anyone can help me with that? I really need to open my old backup(also if it was possible to recover it from windows was fine...), since I've some work realted stuffs to reinstall with tha related saves/infos...

i tried hard to get language setting from English to Chinese but accidentally changed to Arab Jawi.
Now all the settings are in jawi and i cant read at all.
Please help me to do recovery and change back to English.
Oh well that's definitely not fun. Honestly your best bet is going to be trial and error. Just open up settings and look at the icons as a reference and guess until you find the right one. There's not a lot you can mess up in that part of settings!

The official lenovo A850 settings have 3 tabs. Language settings are in the 3rd tab. Scroll down until you find an icon with an "A" and some dots under it (...). Click it and select the first option. Select your lanuage and you are done

Installation
1. Download File ROM
2. Save it into your Memory Card
3. Make sure you have TWRP in your phone (root first)
4. enter Recovery mode
5. Wipe Internal Storage
6. Instal file ROM
7. Reboot System
8. First Boot will take longer time.. be patient

Hi, newbie of P70 from malaysia .
I'm having problem here and looking for help and advice.
My P70 is bought 2nd hand, it was rooted and flashed with TWRP recovery when I got it.
Now I have problems with it.
1) I unable to update my P70 to latest S128 firmware, every time I tried to update, it download the firmware and reboot, but it will launch the TWRP firmware and stuck there, no update progress.
2) my camera dead, someone said it might due to I root my phone. But how to unroot?
***Update***
Managed to restore my P70-A camera and updated to latest S129 firmware after flashed to stock Recovery and S127 firmware
Wonder what caused the camera error, Root or Recovery
Please advice and help.

I own the P780 and Yoga tablet and one recurring theme with them is that once rooted, say bye bye to OTA updates unless you flash back the unrooted stock ROM.
Just for info.
I get my P70-A rooted, but leave stock recovery and don't touch system apps, only freeze some.
Successfully updated to new firmware 129 via OTA.
Root rights lost after update so I must reroot. That's all

i just want to move few of my Apps and i don't want to use features to change my primary memory card that can move all of my Apps.

and why i cant play games like cytus and dead trigger 2 , i installed it and force close after i open it.

I've just bought lenovo P70-A last night, then i checked the specs using CPU-Z application, everything is ok just like the specs that's shown in the box, EXCEPT the screen size and battery capacity, CPU-Z shows the screen size is 4.59 inches and the battery capacity is 1000mAh . Anybody experienced the same thing? I bought it from trusted shop, not from black market, and in the back cover of battery shows 3900mAh. Please somebody answer...

Hello. Please visit Sammobile, register and afterwards type in your phone model and you will see all the stock roms suited for your device. Then all needs to be flashed with odin which is also provided on the site below the download button of the firmware you select. but be sure that your phone will be fully charged before proceeding. You keep on about a device, this has nothing to do with a device number this ha something to do with CM14.1, in this under settings there is a menu called "System profiles". It was possible in earlier versions to call "System Profiles" from quick menu but this is not possible in 14.0 and on.
So simply my question is how do I call "System Profiles" from a piece of home made software, I need the java call so I can put it in my App.
