System Profiles are gone from quick menu and I want to make a Widget to run it directly but I can finde anything about it, what du I call it with ?
I would like somthing like this but directly to System Profiles.

Please post your issue on your device and rom section , we don`t have any ideea what device and specific rom you use and this is up to your rom developer to fix it if is a bug

If you tell us the device name and rom name we may find it for you

You keep on about a device, this has nothing to do with a device number this ha something to do with CM14.1, in this under settings there is a menu called "System profiles". It was possible in earlier versions to call "System Profiles" from quick menu but this is not possible in 14.0 and on.
So simply my question is how do I call "System Profiles" from a piece of home made software, I need the java call so I can put it in my App.
Devise = S2. Rom = lineage-14.1-20170119-UNOFFICIAL-i9100.zip

Dear all,
please i wanna ask about the double tap when someone to call me on phone i have samsung galaxy ace duos gt-s6802.
so when some one call or i make a call, there is this lock appears and say double tap to unlock, its really annoying, i dont know from where to remove this option i cant seem to find it anywhere in the settings. please if any one have a solution let me know.

as far as i know you cant remove that lock because the phone doesnt have proximity sensor... maybe this feature will be disable or modified in a custom rom

Thanks, So basically you are saying that if i install your custom Rom the annoying lock while calling will go away right?

hey you can try to root your phone first so after you can delete the dialer app by using app like link2sd or any app that required root and can uninstall any app that came with the firmware and download anothe dialer from playstore
( maybe this can help) not tested but you can try it and if the problem still exist you can reinstall the stock firmware

So I installed TheWhisp's Android 4.2.2 on my Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 and when I get my status bar down I don't get all thos icons and options:

(WITHOUT SPACES! The site doesn't let me post without spaces and I really need this to be solved up)
Also the "Download offline speech recognition" in "Voice Search" doesn't appear if you can help me with that too.

Have you checked in your system settings? I know on most of the roms for my tablet I had to enable all of the extra options for the notification panel in my system settings.

I'm using the andrea_d86-lenovos750-4.2.2-140121 ROM on my Lenovo S750 ! It's a very good one ! But I have one problem: the localisation from network Provider doesn't work for any app. For example in Google Maps it asks me to activate this option in the settings although it's already done. I tried to disable this setting, reboot the phone and then to reactivate this setting and then it works for a few minutes or hours and then the same problem appear again...
Can someone help me please ? I'm not allowed to ask this question on the official post of this ROM just because I'm new in this Forum, so I hope someone can still help me ! =)

Hi i just Upgraded to lollipop these week and moded it a bit
What can u mention is that now i using a custom rom with some ported apps from note4 that is have no problem and the rom base is still stock android 5.0.1 for i9500
I dont know what apk or Something get changed or i changed something wrong and now any text i enter in messages app and whatsapp or similar app turn into link
For Example i want to type : "hi.ok" it turns into link "hi.ok"
But if i type "hi. Ok" its allright and no problem
This mean something handle this content is missy detect any sinple text as link.
Could you helppp me plzz devs how to fix this?

Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. I don't why you're having that issue. It could be things you've modified or the app. I would return to stock and then install your apps and see if it's working correctly. Then do what ever mods you did. Tah'll narrow it down to an app issue or the mods you did.

I have a problem with ringtones in my Coolpad Porto S. I cannot select ringtone file to change the phone and notification sound. The system does not provide a list of ringtones to select from. When I go to settings > sound and notifications > General and I click "phone ringtone" or "default notification sound" I am prompted to complete the operation with ES file explorer. Then, it opens a random folder with no sound files.
Is this a bug? The device runs Android 5.1.
What can I do to solve it?

Why Android on Coolpad Porto S does not provide a list of audio files to preview and select from?
Instead, I am prompted to explore the file system looking for an audio file. Plus, even if I go to system/media/audio/ringtones and select a file, the default ringtone sound does not change.
It is a real mess.

Solved
The problem was solved once I uninstalled TotalCommander app.
I am not sure what the exact interference was but once TotalCommander was removed a list to preview and select phone and notification sounds was made available.
BUT, the ringtones I select are still ignored and the defaults are used.
Nevertheless, this specific question has been answered and this thread can be closed.
