does any one can help me to root the huawei gr5 2017.
i try to search the method but i couldn't find it... the spesification is same with huawei honor 6x, but the firmware isn't same.
traditional method
goto honor website, sign in, fill in the details, get unlock code, unlock bootloader, flash twrp, then supersu
if you want explanation, go to honor 5x thread, find a twrp thread which is under roms and kernels section

Hi,
You can root after unlocking bootloader. The instructions are the same honor 6x that you have been founded in Honor 6x threads. Confirmed and proved by myself. It can work well after rooting my GR5 2017 since 6th Jan 2017.
For installing Xposed Framework, Use arm64 Version 87 official. It talk a long booting at the first time and it can work fine for my GR5 2017.
For download Xposed installer material design ( apk file ) has be found in XDA Android threads

**Magisk installer can run on GR5 2017 too which version 10.2 but after installation it will loose fingerprint from your device.

I can root with another available method but its a lengthy process and even a system is needed, but if Framaroot can support this device then it will be nice for all huawei honor 6 users as we can root our devices on the go.

Hello, the P9 Lite 2017 is the same as the P8 Lite 2017, so you must guide this tutorial for the Root (previously you must unlock the bootloader):

Hi Im Currently using the honor 8 FRD-L02 which is the indian variant of the Huawei Honor 8. I have been trying to find a rooting guide for my device since ive bought it, but havent been able to find any for the FRD-L02 variant. If anyone does have any idea how to go about it, please let me know ASAP.

Flash the above twrp and get the root by magisk, it was good and you can also use modules.

Hey Guys, I have Huawei GR3 2017 with build number PRA-LA1 8.0.0.416 C185
I have already unlock the bootloader, Now I need to make root and install TWRP.
Thus install a custom rom, I have tired google it all of searches leads to Huawei P8 lite.
Because P8 lite and Gr3 have the same model number (PRA-LA1). So I tried many of TWRP versions
but no one is compatible with gr3, anyone have this experience before and can help me?
