Hello, guys I need your help?!
I'm new in this forum I have joined long time back but to post here its just recently when I ask question regarding the flashing of ROM, with status error7. Thank god I flash over again and it work.
I'm using RR ROM V5.8.0, Though it's working flawlessly like charm, but there are some glitches that need to be tweak such as headset icon during plugin,advanced reboot it's not there,and why does it need to have SD card, though before I don't use SD card in Stock ROM but is there any defect in here? Or suggests me guy a ROM that work flawlessly with no SD card required to work as shared storage...
P.s : I'm looking for your opinions guys. Please help?!

Greetings and welcome to assist. You really need to report any bugs in the rom thread, the sd card though is probably just your internal storage as that is how the rom see's it. An actual sdcard would normally be listed as extsd card

Hello, When I flash racht 's CM 7 Arced ROM
And use an app that requires an SD card to function. Ex: Gallery
It says SD card not mounted/detected.
So I tried flashing FroyoBread ROM.
SD card apps work, I am able to access them.
Please tell me the problem, is it in the ROM or does my phone have a problem?
I am using an Xperia X8.

well, I'm in no way an expert...but following logic would tell me it's the ROM, but you should try another ROM, and if 2 out of 3 ROM's work ok with the SD card...my vote is ROM. That could be wrong, but I figure if your SD card mounts with everything else, it's at least not that.
I'll second the ROM opinion. I am running CM7 nightly and it works perhaps try one of these?

I have also tried the kuyaDROID ROM and racht's CM7 nightly HACKDROID ROM.
It still does not work after several reboots on both ROMS.
I was able to root the phone I also downloaded the new ROM ZIP and have it on my SC external card however the ROM manager does not give me the install zip from sdcard option?

ok i'm bring back an old thread because no one will answer any of my new ones with what i need to know! i have the same exact question as above and that link you posted does not help me at all! i already have CWM and have my current ROM backed up, how do i get the new one thats on my external card to perform on my phone???

I have a problem in my galaxy s i9003xxkpu
keeps popping up a message saying that the internal SD Card was unexpectedly removed. I know it does not have have to repair or replace the chip's internal sd card.
I would like to know if you have to install the external rom in sd or you have a rom with the option to choose where to install.

Had the same problem with xxkpq...i tried factory reset with no results but flashing xxkpe> xxkpq did help.it did u, by any chance use miui.i had the problem after miui
.or it could be a motherboard problem in which case u have to take it to service center.search the forum for details regarding this

Earlier today I successfully flashed my nook color to CM7.2 using TWRP 2.3.0.2 as described in this tutorial http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1030227.
After that I successfully flashed TWRP 2.8.3.0.
Right now I am trying to flash CM11 with the corresponding g.apps, but the files are not visible in recovery. What can I do? This is my first time rooting/loading roms so any help I can get is much appreciated.
Hi there,
Try to put that files (zips of CM and GApps) on the external SD Card and try again. maybe is something wrong with that recovery and didn't recognize your internal memory.
Also give us more details about your device for better pointing to the right forum.

Hi thanks for the reply. I was actually trying to load the files from an external SD the entire time.
I managed the fix the problem luckily. I had an extra SD card on hand so I re-downloaded the files and tried flashing them to the device from the other card. It worked.
Is this a good way to do things in the future? That way I can keep my files intact on the main SD card and use a seperate SD card to flash new ROMs etc. Though I dont know if the file systems on the main SD card will be interchangeable between ROMs.
The device is a Nook Color (encore). I used the link that I posted in the OP to load CM7 and then CM11. The Nook Color community seems rather dead, so I posted here.
Glad to hear that you have done it.
Take care with SD Card no name. You can loose important files like photos or other docs if something goes wrong.

so i been reflashing my s7262 with custom roms, then this problem showed when i try to use the camera i get "not enought memory" when i try to download something with chrome i get "NO SD CARD" i thought the problem with the rom so i flashed back to orignial rom but still the same problem also when i connect my phone with usb the internal card reads very weird size check picture i.imgur.com/OonY4zF.jpg
