So, yesterday I installed this ROM : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1729925
I rooted my mobile with z4root then did a backup with the clockwork recovery and then I installed the custom rom.
At first it booted normally, I'm pretty sure it was applying the files, and then it showed it's own 'Android' boot picture.
So I left it over night (charging), but when I woke up, it was still booting up, so I restarted the mobile, but the problem still occurs.
How can I uninstall the rom, or get the default android system? I can't press any keys at all, because I'm pretty sure it freezes at the boot logo.

Just do this if u want a stable rom for Huawei u8160
just copy this file "cm-7-20120814-MADTEAM-u8160 LATEST.zip" to your SD card and reboot your phone into recovery and do a factory reset then go onto " install Zip from sd card" and by using volume keys locate the package name "cm-7-20120814-MADTEAM-u8160 LATEST.zip"
and install and then reboot. after installing just go back and select reboot now or reboot system now , Now enjoy CM7.2 Rom <3

Try flashing stock firmware again
Hi,
I decided to root and installed a custom recovery on my G920l.
The root went fine and I installed TWRP but once I tried to reboot into the recovery my phone has frozen and doesnt want to turn off.
I don't get what I did wrong and how to fix it or at least how to turn the phone off?
Thanks
I just figured out how to restart it holding power + volume down but I guess my TWRP doesnt work...
Try to Flash stock kernal for fix stuck on boot.
The phone is booting fine but I guess the recovery still doesnt work.
And TWRP keep failing to install the custom recovery ???

Hi guys, i have a g920f with 5.1.1.
Installed twrp 2.8.7.1 and i want to install a custom rom. To copy the rom on the phone, in the past on galaxy s4, i used to reboot in recovery twrp, then wipe everything and copy the rom file on the phone.
Now with twrp 2.8.7.1 and S6 when i reboot in recovery mode i'm not able to copy any file on the phone because i don't see the phone in windows explorer.
I think is twrp mtp problem, do you have the same issue? any workaround?
thanks in advance
Hi,
I was trying to install CWM and for which i also got info about unlocking bootloader, so I installed "freegee" but after this phone only hanged. so i left it and tried to install "CWM" on my phone via cwm apk and it worked.
I restarted phone and boot in to cwm to make sure it is installed but it was only showing home keys but later it worked fine and still working. I had backup of kernel and recovery through "rashr" app, so i resorted it and then it only booted into cwm and stock recovery. Now it's only show LG logo and restarts, sometime it hang on logo too & also get security issue. please see attachment..
Current condition is that it's entering in Download mode and both "stock n custom" recovery too. what should i do to make it back to normal!!
Please, help me solve the issue. i need it to work again.
Lot's of Thanks .

I found this link, can anyone confirm that it will work on my phone model? Please help. thanks agian.
Hey, I rooted my S6 edge (I believe just using the CF autoroot ROM, if my terminology is correct, I'm not too well versed here) and installed a custom recovery menu (TWRP 3.0) a few months ago and everything was working fine.
Today I decided that I wanted to wipe my phone, and I quickly googled to see if a factory reset from the settings app would play well with a rooted phone, and it said it would, it lied. Now my phone is rebooting only into the TWRP menu. I don't know what to do to fix it.
I've tried reloading the back up I made when I installed TWRP, it restores successfully but when rebooting it crashes. I have to reboot using Power+VolDown+Home. I also tried to just reinstall the ROM (assuming that going to Reboot - Download would be the same as using the stock recovery menu) but it also crashes so I don't think ODIN can detect it, the phone does however get recognised by my computer
I'm completely lost on what to do now, as I'm rather new to this, so any help would be appreciated!

Thank you both for replying. I couldn't get it too turn off, however I did manage to install a custom ROM through TWRP itself. I think I've just installed TWRP wrong, so thats why it was crashing, so I'll update and reinstall when I'm next at home to see if that stops it crashing. Everything seems to be working now though, so thanks!
