Difference between the 2 Amazon variants? - Huawei Mate 9 Questions & Answers

There are 2 models:
I think the international is MHA-L29
The other doesn't show model, but looks like it's the US model.
What's the difference?
Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk

L29 is dual sim
L09 is single sim
Only difference on Amazon is US warranty
Even the Chinese models work here. It's just if you need it repaired for some reason

[Q] how to make MT7-TL00 work with AT&T LTE? Or is it entirely not possible?

Somehow I ended up having a CMCC version of Mate 7 (TL00).
Already unlocked and rooted.
Used the "network unlock assistant" from China Unicomm ("网络解锁助手")
Still, I'm not able to get on the LTE or even 4G from AT&T. Only 3G.
I thought all these models have the same hardware specs?
Can anyone help?

complain to your mobile operator that doesnt support RIGHT frequencies ..
I've flip-flopped between the different models, but came to the realization that im paying for 4G/LTE so i might as well get a phone capable of supporting it. So i settled with the L09 model.

Moto X Play arrives to Mexico

Since today, can be purchased from motorola Mexico, starting from $5,999.00
Anyone in Mexico want to help me buy one and ship to the US?
Can anyone confirm the Moto X Play sold in Mexico is the dual sim version? It's unbelievable how confusing Motorola's model # and specification pages are.

The Moto X Play in Mexico has dual nanoSIM, model XT1563
The mexico model should be good to go here in the states and be unlocked. I would also be interesting in a 32gb model. If someone has an address in mexico we can ship to and then ship it back to use here...thats all we would need

Is that because you have one in hand or just from the motorola.mx website? I chatted with the motorola latin america support and they said at the moment only the single sim version is available. If you go through motomaker it makes no mention of dual sim, nor in the any of the description content. You only see dual nanoSIM in the specs.

Yes I remember. I was going to get one from you but decided against it because of the hardware buttons. Atleast in Mexico we also have full access to the 32gb model and moto maker. It is the best option and if you can hook it up I know many people will be happy

I already have it since thursday, and also I already used it in the US with a T-Mobile nanoSIM and on AT&T using a Telcel nanoSIM, in both cases I got 4G. So I can confirm that this phone has dual SIM

Yes I'm willing to try! The Mexican version is exactly what I'm looking for since it's not tied to any carrier and it will get updates directly from Motorola.

The experience with T-Mobile was really good, this phone has AWS band for T-Mobile 3G and all the bands in LTE for T-Mobile and AT&T, and even some Chinese LTE bands, and I guess this phone is really good for a backup phone, I still love my Nexus 6, but this phone holds his ground pretty good.

I got an invitation by Motorola, so when they announced the availability of this phone, also was available a few units for us at the time, but only in white or black, right now the only way to get it is via Moto Maker, takes around 10 days, in a few days it going to be available in Best Buy Mexico, but I don’t think the deliver to the US, usually we buy in the US or import from the US, not the other way around, I don’t think there is a good exporter to US

I think there is a person doing what you need, http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x-play/general/selling-moto-x-play-mexico-t3187218, beside that; I like the phone but no more than the Nexus 6.

Where to buy international 4gb ram 64gb?

so looking online I seem to only find the Chinese version and the L29 I think it is, which is limited to 3 gb only. where can I purchase the other L version that has 4 gb ram and 64gb internal? Selling my note 5 to get this bad boy. can't wait!!
thanks
afaik there are no 4gb international versions... also, there arent any hardware differences between the AL10 and L29 phones aside from the differing support for a few LTE bands. and by a few were talking about like 1-3 here, so nothing to write home about....the rest of the hardware is absolutely identical, u can even crossflash the firmwares, sooo....why not just get the AL10 and call it a day?

hm unclear which version the second link offers, but the first looks like the L29, not sure though since they mixed up LTE and UMTS bands.
in any case, i did say there was a very slight difference in supported LTE bands, but thats it. everything else is 100% the same, so nothing to make a fuss about if u ask me

I just want the versions that comes pre installed with Google play. I don't want to have to root and flash the international version. it looks like there is a 4gb ram and 64gb international version. now I just need to figure out if it has AT&T bands.
thabks guys

except one is a Chinese version no Google play and the others are not.
i was talking about the hardware
sure, not everyone likes to play around with software, i understand that. but seeing as roms are interchangeable between the chinese and international model, there is really no fixed hardware-based difference between the two thats what i meant
NXT-L29 with 64gb/4gb ram hasn't been released yet, only 32 in silver and grey is available in few countries. 64/4 in gold and mocha (NXT-L29) will be released next month in EU
interesting info! where did u get that from?
My Chinese handset 64gb version came with Google play installed. You can download it from the huawei store that comes installed as well....

Does anyone know where you can even get the 3/32gb international version (NXT-L29)? For the last few days vmall has just kept saying it will be available in 2 days?
whats your country of residence? id suggest to just check local electronic stores, they should have the mate 8 in stock by now or the usual places like amazon, ebay, etc.

I'm in Ireland so it will probably never be in shops here. I will need to buy online. Do you have the international version, if so where did you get it?
why is it never going to be in shops there? in any case, id suggest checking out UK sites, they should have the mate 8 in stock
i got the AL10 chinese version through aliexpress

Should I get the international or US model?

Does the international model have an unlocked bootloader? Will the US model ever become unlocked?
Yes international have unlocked bootloader, AT&T and Verizon has a locked bootloader.
If you like Exynos, but international.

is it a game breaker on either one? prob not, and I am not going to lose sleep over the "wrong one" that I got
I will get the international model then. Thanks.

Dual-SIM both 4G?

Hey folks,
I want to buy the U11 and one last thing came into my mind: The non-provider version has dual sim, but is there 4G available for both slots? Or is it 2G/3G for the secondary and 2-4G for the primary?
