It already says it works on both - beware on flashing this though. When I did it I forgot to wipe the data and i ended up with a bootloop (my own fault) but I couldn't even get back into recovery to restore it. It doesn't look like this ROM allows you to boot into recovery (although that could just have been a side effect the bootloop situation - Not sure how though). I had to leave my phone like that till I could flash another boot image from my pc.

can someone please give me the correct version of TWRP. Thanks.
I managed to flash this ROM after changing the 'updater-script' as mentioned here --> https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2522762
I'm facing an issue that now I'm not able to boot into TWRP recovery. I tried installing the recovery again from fastboot but not able to get into recovery. Any help?

idk for z3+ but maybe there is a bootloader upgrade too which will allow you to boot into recovery with bootloader instead of recovery in boot.
Everything is stable for me, snapchat video rec working aswell, i have no issues except bluetooth but thats an general bug

Also you can try to empty your recovery partition, then kernel will use the builtin one.
If someone can confirm z3+ boot process is the same one as z3.
@Kungencortes, what is bluetooth bug?
You can boot to recovery via, fastboot boot recovery.img.

Cant get bluetooth working bug free dosnt matter wich rom im on, common issue.
advanced reboot menu shows up but not working
Resolved Twrp recovery by holding volume down + power button while restarting and then pressing volume up. Not sure what combination works, but I can get to Twrp!
ROM is fluid and great as a initial version!
Some bugs:
# live display not working.
# lowest brightness too bright.
I'm enjoying the smoothness of stock UI on this almost dead device. Thanks Dev. I'm sticking around on this ROM. :good:

See page 77 of the Lineage OS. There is a tutorial for AL series.
Just a workaround to fix reboot to erecovery ( now the device will reboot to system, instead erecovery )
Please take a look here to backup erecovery and to flash boot.img over erecovery partition .
Amazing work man, still waiting for the reboot issue to be fixed before I'm going to use this as a daily driver.

Hi there
I was just wondering if there are any plans to have this rom on the Huawei Mate 8?
Both the Mate 8 and the Honor 8 utilise the same Cpu...
Since official stable versions of Nougat haven't been pushed to the Mate 8, I think many Mate 8 users would be extremely pleased to use this Rom!
Thanks
Replacing boot.img with erecovery
So, I flashed this rom today and decided to try to replace erecovery with boot.img and while testing RR I noticed a app I need is not working so I decided I would go back to emui 5 but when I normally go back (ive done this a few times. ) I flash the update.zip and go to erecovery to download from wifi if it goes into a bootloop (which is happens a lot) and that fixes it. But since I replaces erecovery I don't have it anymore as the option. My question is if I flash update.zip will it replace boot.img with recovery2.img like it replaces twrp with recovery or do I need to flash erecovery back with a shell command? (and what would that command be?)
Thanks for any help,
(sorry if I did anything wrong this is my first time posting.)

U have to reflash erecovery2 to flash update.app .
U cannot flash update.zip of NOUGAT with stock recovery as itself has update.app in it and also a zip with additional files to be flashed in /data/ .
So flash erecovery 2 , downgrade to MM and then update to Nougat .:fingers-crossed:

nothing chances to bricking since this rom not included restricted file such as modem file or bootloader file,
i'm using this rom+kernel with along bootloader lollipop no such problem.
you can flash this rom even you on android N, atleast if you on official lollipop from motorola, you need flash modem file kitkat 4.4.4., but make sure you never downgrade bootloader.
many case moto e died (bricked) bcause user upgrade to lollipop ofcourse bootloader upgraded too,
to avoid brick, so i've saw a thread that said you can downgrade to kitkat 4.4.4 but do not downgrade your bootloader,
i try it and yeah not bricked till now.
@rainforce279 will it be flashable through Latest twrp 3.1.1.0 or I have to go back to older version of twrp?

You can flash it on any TWRP version. I was on twrp v3.1.1 and flashed this ROM, no issues.
I want to test the rom, but i don't know how to install. I am on Pure Nexus, i install it when i was on lollipop stock version, so i have the lollipop bootloader. No risk to hard brick?? The RIL (Mobile Signal) will work?

nah, its similiar with my case,
i've try stock ota lollipop 5.1.1 from motorola, when i check bootloader is upgraded to lollipop bootloader, so i searching thread how to downgrade it to kk 4.4.4, some one in this forum told me you can downgrade it to kk 4.4.4 but dont flash or downgrade bootloader, if you downgrade bootloader your device will hard brick.
so far i'm in lollipop bootloader,
and i've test many rom such as lineage13/14, slim 6/7, aex nougat, and als this rom with kernel no problem so far, you can try this, make sure your bootloader not downgraded, also make sure you've flash modem file kk 4.4.4.
this rom not included any strickted file such as nonhlos.bin or similiar file,
i just put system and boot.img only, for make sure safe for every condor user.

yes you can take it from stock firmware, modem file is named "NON-HLOS.bin" after flash you need to erase modemst1 & modemst2, its safe for flashing make sure correct with your region.
and bootloader is named "gpt.bin" and "motoboot.img" this never safe for flashing if you at lollipop bootloader.

no need to flash modem file if you not yet flash or upgrade to stock 5.x.x, other mean you still on kk modem.
about security i'm not sure its free or not from vulnerable, since kitkat is old os.

I had successfully unlocked the bootloader and installed TWRP. After flashing the latest build the device is encrypted and asks for a password every time I reboot the device & when I open the TWRP it also asks for a password to decrypt. So is there any way to remove the encryption?

You can use your screen lock to decrypt the data, if it still doesn't work, format the data partition and flash magisk before first boot.

I had successfully unlocked the bootloader and installed TWRP. After flashing the latest build the device is encrypted and asks for a password every time I reboot the device & when I open the TWRP it also asks for a password to decrypt. So is there any way to remove the encryption?

I will try this as soon as possible: has the wifi reception, by any chance, been improved compared to stock rom? IRRC back in the days there was the "radio" part of the software that could be modded.
What camera app does it use? the stock Asus cam, gcam, or the aosp cam?
I got a new X00PD (ZB555) and I wanted to try putting this rom on it out of the box. I have done:
1) Unlocked bootloader via Asus apk
2) Booted into fastboot and flashed unofficial TWRP
3) Rebooted into TWRP.
4) Flashed twrp in twrp (I wasn't sure if this was needed or not)
5) Rebooted into recovery
6) Wiped dalvik, system, cache, data
7) Flashed Pixel Experience. TWRP says it was successful.
Here is where I have a problem. On reboot its a boot loop.
I've tried flashing this rom now 4 times, keeps giving me a boot loop. I just booted into fastboot and reflashed TWRP and then tried to flash the rom from there, still boot loop.
I have questions:
1) Did I do things right?
2) Could the message on TWRP's site have something to do with this "This device uses dm-verity! This means that swiping to allow system modifications will prevent you from being able to boot if you are using the stock kernel."? I never got a request to allow system modification.
3) Yikes, what do I do now?

Uh oh, did not consider checking for that. Using 'getprop' in TWRP's terminal (had to search for this command), it says
[ro.board.platform]: [msm8937]
then it also says
[ro.boot.platformtype]: [msm8917]
Does that help or is that more confusing? Any other things I can do in fastboot or TWRP to produce better information?
Thank you so much for helping!
Edit: The exact model number of this phone is: ZB555KL-4G151TW but I can't find reference to this exact model number with websearches.
Edit2: On your Lingeage OS page it says to flash FIRMWARE-ASUS_X00P-WW-16.00.1906.411-user.zip. I never did this, should I do this for this rom too? Is it safe to flash a stock rom after putting on TWRP (I was about to try your ROM but wasn't sure if I could flash this stock firmware))? Thanks again!

Yes, you can install it with pc using any supported tool but fastboot is not possible.
There hasn't been a way to unlock the bootloader. The only way we can enjoy any tweak is what we have achieved, that is root and customize recovery.
My Firmware is X573-QL1668DEF-O-191126V50
1. Is it possible to flash this Recovery without EDL Mode.
Due to Locked Bootloader We can't able to Any ROM that's weird
Any way to Unlock it?

How to install
Make sure your bootloader is already unlocked and OEM unlock is enabled, otherwise the installation will fail.
Download and install Samsung Drivers
Download the latest *.tar for your phone
Download Odin, from example from https://downloads.corsicanu.ro/samsung/
If not done before, flash disabled VBMeta with Odin in AP or CP slot (originally posted here).
Turn off your phone, connect it to PC and reboot to download mode by holding down Volume up, Volume down and power button at the same time.
Open Odin and check if your device is detected, then untick "Autoreboot" in its settings.
Put the tar file you downloaded into the AP tab
Click start and wait for the installation to finish, Odin will show PASS
Now hold down Power button and Volume down for about 10 seconds to force reboot the device
Immediately after the screen goes black release the keys and hold down Volume up and Power button at the same time until you enter TWRP (You may need to release the keys after about 20-30secs due to the "unlocked bootloader" warning)
If you properly followed all the steps you should now see the TWRP menu.
I HIGHLY recommend to flash multidisabler and services disabler right after you enter TWRP to disable forced encryption and stock recovery restoration.
If you're scared of doing something wrong, you can also follow the steps in this video

Please try to download it again.
Oh thank you! I thought something was wrong with my phone, haha... atleast if anyone bought this phone for modding doesn't have this issue anymore.
I'm a bit of a paranoid person myself, and I was wondering if my phone is compatible with this. In your LOS ROM for the A42 5G, you specified it needs to be an a42xq, however my phone is specified as an a42xqeea, and not just a42xq. I paid a lot of money for this phone, but I really want to install a custom recovery, so a response would be appreciated.

Bootloader is unlockable, just checked. The device is still running on stock firmware, I don't get what you mean by "prepared stock firmware before flashing", is there a way to backup the firmware before installing TWRP?

Hello again, I was preparing to donwload everything and install TWRP today, until I noticed that this was intended for an SM-A426U, I have an SM-A426B, are you sure this will not brick my recovery in any way?

My device is exactly the SM-A426B and well tested.
As I said, if you have stock firmware files, you could restore everything if you want, including recovery partition.
So it won't brick your device.
