Anyoneknow where I can get metro s7 Odin firmware - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S7 Questions & Answers

I have been having hard time finding stock firmware for metro s7 930t1
(THE LATEST )
The Few the links/posts on here I found from Dropbox or Android file host fail to flash back to metro . Since I flashed to tmobile firmware on day 1.
They were captured by smart switch and claimed to be good Tar files! For metro s7.
I don't know if my baseband on current tmobile firmware is to far ahead to flash back to any of the metro Odin tar files ?
Anyone have links or idea on where I can find it ?
For starters I'm on vzw 7.0 firmware on my 930t Flat ,feel kinda certain I'll have to flash tmobile first in order to flash metros?

i snagged with smart switch G930T1UVS3APD2 and G930T1UVU4APIA, but never bothered with the latest that has the november security patch G930T1UVU4APK1. Does the latest t-mobile firmware work for you?

Yeah I use the latest tmobile...
I think to downgrade you need the earliest compatible bootloader baseband I'm afraid if metros latest isn't available then I can't go back to a certain tmobile firmware in order to downgrade back to metro uvu4apia

It's like metro never released there version of tmobiles latest equal update so by having tmobile latest I can't go back to metros version

Here is the latest Metro, I can snag it with smart switch if you want. I belive it is just as current as the tmobile one.i have the G930T1UVU4APIA one as well

Great bro... OK then can you pm a download link

stock unrooted firmware

hello all. i just picked up a rooted note edge for sprint this weekend. runs pretty smooth with one or two hiccups. i am looking for the stock unrooted firmware to return it totally stock so i can start from scratch. stock firmware bootloader and everything flashed through odin. found a couple sites on the web but i don't trust some of them and i think the download speeds suck. anyone have a link for one here in the xda world that i can flash through odin to unroot and return to stock?

have you looked at www.sammobile.com, then click on firmware at the top?
or
http://samsung-updates.com/
Yes. The sammobile website download is like a 10 hour download for free users. And there are two firmwares one says region xas and one says region spr. I have no idea what the difference is. When i had my note 4 i started to download the firmware for it from sammobile and it was a super long download time. I found it in xda and i was able to download it in about 10 minutes instead of 10 hours so thats why im looking for it somewhere other than sammobile but i want something i can trust

Question on firmware flashing

Can we cross flash a Samsung Gear S2 3G Verizion (R730V) with ATT firmware (R730A)?
Reason I'm asking is because I don't see the latest version of the firmware for Verizon yet but ATT already has theirs.
Looks like ATT firmware can be found at the following site:
http://a2phone.ir/index.php?file=/S...UCU2BPF6_R730AATT2BPF6_USA ATT_4File Firmware
No

Why does it not work. It is the same hardeware, isn't it?
I had the same idea to flash a S2 Sport 3G with the firmware of the S2 classic 3G (vodafone). No chance?

Can you flash no carrier version on g5

I got a g5 Canadian model coming in mail, I see there's no root yet unfortunately, so I was wondering if I could flash a different stock non carrier version at least because I hate bloat? I use to use lg's own flash software with my G3. Is there something that I could do this with safely?

Samsung S7 (Edge) Nougat flashed with ODIN - no OTA Beta Update?

I have flashed the Beta of Nougat for Samsung S7 (Edge) via Odin. It was the leaked Nougat Beta. In the last days there was a small OTA Update for this Beta (only fixed some Facebook App crashes).
I have not gotten this OTA Update
I am wondering if others have received this OTA update (and match the things below) ?
- NOT part of the official Samsung Beta program
- flashed via Odin

You won't get the OTA if not in beta program I was running it on S7 fb closed once then worked fine for me . You will need to wait for some one to upload new beta build or do what I did return to mm and wait [emoji13]

Damn. :silly: I kind of hoped for OTA since it is an official Beta Build. I don't want to go back to MM since N is so much nicer :crying:
(I do not really care for the FB Bug, but rather just getting updates via OTA so this was a good Test to see if OTA Updates are coming through)
Yr same" I found battery life not as good as on mm and camera grainy still work to be done but yes looks good I may re flash if new build up loaded

I read somewhere that a new bigger beta update with new features is being prepared. Let's hope we can grab that one somewhere.
Would be nice

I just hope that whatever build comes next can be installed (with ODIN) without having to setup the whole device again. With this first beta I had to do a clean install since all my data was wiped. Oh well only time will tell now. :cyclops:
First time I flashed I only selected AP file in odin it did not wipe just updated but kept getting ims error pop up was not usable didn't realise had to flash all 4 files . Not had a Samsung in long time forgot how to use odin lol

Okay the tutorial did help but i have one question..... im using an argentinian firmware and the firmware hes installing is of a different region so would it be an issue if the csc file is different?
Don't think so you have to flash all files regardless of what region file using

Mine is a german (unlocked) S7 Edge and I flashed all four files. Just be aware when you do flash all four files you WILL have all data wiped and must do a clean install.

Yeah the beta program was never available in Germany. So I was not able to register for the Beta program and had to flash it manually.

I just got oreo update on my S8 in Brazil. G950U1
I also got CRB9 on my G950U1 in the US this morning!
That's great to see, finally
It's on sammmobile right now.. i just checked after reading this post..
Has anyone installed it yet? Is it worth it? On the unlocked version does it still allow tethering with 3rd party apps. Also important question ROOTING?
