I just got a Samsung Galaxy E tab T-567v (baseband T567VVRU1BPF2) that I just want to use as a wifi tablet and NOT EVER put a sim card in for 4g. I was wondering if I could flash it with marshmallow 6.0.1 firmware meant for a T-560nu. I don't wanna have to deal with all of the Verizon bloatware and I also want to be able to update it OTA.
Or should I just root it with the stock marshmallow firmware meant for the T-567v and remove the apps I don't want manually? I really like the T-560nu running marshmallow. Any advice would be appreciated.

Greetings and welcome to assist. A lot of verizon devices have locked bootloaders and are not able to be rooted, I think yours may be one of them according to this thread

Please help me. I want desperately to root my phone. I'd prefer a method not requiring a computer, however I'm desperate and open to any method as long as it won't ruin my phone. The details of the phone are: AT&T Galaxy S5 G900A running Android 5.0 lollipop

Nope, as of now there are no de-bloated firmwares available for the US versions.

I do have a G930P and I did flash it with a G930U FW which doesn´t have any company bloatware, phone works better than before, mine was unlocked since I bought it and I'm using it with a Mexico SIM with no problems.
Please check this post in the S7 AT&T section:

XDA, would it be possible to look into rooting a Samsung Note Edge (SM-N915A) with Marshmallow 6.0.1. I've tried different things, but there doesn't seem to be a process for this phone with that OS.
2nded!
Is there a way to root the 915T already updated to 6.0.1 dpj2 (October update)?
Root SM-N915A? Please?
I have discovered that the bootloader on my SM-N915A (ATT) Note Edge is locked up tight. I am very eager to root this phone, as I have had it since release and I have yet to use it to its full potential. Perhaps a bounty (like Verizon's Note Edge)? Is anyone interested in cracking open this bootloader?
