Sideload Apps to Gear S2

Is there a way to sideload apps to the watch. As i don't have all the apps is the gear store. it seems there are regional restrictions

Do You have any app You want to install in file?
Because there is this app - Filesmaster - which will let You upload any file to the GearS2 and view it in the smartwatch (not sure about installer though).

Yes you can with sdb.

no i dont have any apps by now. i searched the web a bit but have not found any. i would like to get yelp! its not available in austria. and i guess there are many more not available

I have found just one watchface that fit well on GearS2.
it's deskclock (present for free on the store)

you can sideload it with sdb. but before I think you must obtain a certificate file for your watch from samsung

I have a question about possibly plausible.. I have a Samsung gear s2. Bought it to access Google play.. is there a way to get Google play on the watch?

gear S3 and Gears app on iphone limitations

Hi all
I have a question and I have searched this forum for answer but no luck.
The question:
Apprently there are some limitations in the Samsun gear app for ios, espicially regarding gear watch faces.
I really like the watch faces from Belvek Gear O'clock but I cant find them on my iphone gear app.
I have tried and to pair my gear s3 with an galaxy s5 phone and there im able to find the faces. I have downloaded and installed one watch faces and then paired my gear s3 with my iphone again and were able to redownload from gear app on iphone.
The problem is that when I pair my gear s3 to another phone all data/app/ s-health history and so on gets deleted
So is there anyway to be able to download the paid watchfaces on the samsung phone without having the watch paired, and then transfer those via Gear watch designer?

Tizen Store for Gear S3

Hey, has anyone managed to get a tpk for the tizen store?
I'm keen to see what could work on my S3 classic

Tizen Store what I know from Z-series (Mobiles) seems differ from Store for Gear series...
If you check Gear S2/S3 Firmware... you can find:
com.samsung.gearstore as TPK...

For me it looks like... all Gear TPK and WGT are stored on ""Android Server""... like APKs...

Thanks for replying.
I was wondering if someone has managed to extract the Tizen store and install it on a gear s3.
The reason behind this thought is that the application layer should be compatible to some degree and enable user the ability to test apps that are available on the Tizen store.
I will give extracting the image and getting the TPK installed on the gear, later today.
While the gear s3 is a nice piece of hardware, the software support is still poor and if it was possible to get other packages working on the s3 via the Tizen store (even if they are not visually aligned to the gears design), it's still a far stretch better then no app at all lol.

"Gapps" is taken from SM-R760 Firmware... but for Installion this TPK.
I was forced to sign with Platform Cert... :angel:
Problem 1.
Gear Series and Mobile Z series use few different Certs... for/from "Store"...
Problem 2.
Different Screen sizes...
In case of my Video example...
Gapps not start because Gear System related Info file not found...
My "idea" is to try few Gear Apps...
BUT since few days...
I saw many of Apps I would like to try... are paid apps... for Gear Watches...
For instance Filesmaster... to check if it would work also on Tizen Mobile...
As few of our users have little problem...
Long time ago we had Gear Manager Beta app... for Gear S2
Now Tizen user with SM-Z300H, SM-Z200F and so on can only use Computer with SDB Tool... to Pull or Push few files...

Need Spotify.wgt for Gear S3.

I have an iPhone so i cant get Spotify in the Gear Manager.
I was wondering if anyone could upload a .wgt file of spotify so that i could manually install it into my gear using SDB. If i manage to get it to work, I'm going to make a guide to help everyone else. Thanks

S7 Nougat & gearfaces

Hi sorry if this is a stupid question, but i just got an old gear 2 and I want to install some faces from gearfaces but I can't seem to get it to work. I use watch styler to install the face. But I come across two problems: First is when i download the face on gearfaces it's in owsc and my watchstyler can't find it. Also when i try to send it to my watch on the samsung gear app I can't find watchstyler to select. Please help.
