Hi, REALLY hope someone can help here!
Elephone p9000.
I am trying to connect the phone to laptop in order to run SP flash. I can connect with the phone on (listed as p9000 in dev mngr). However when turned off the connection goes away.
I have: downloaded and installed vcom, cdc and usb drivers
Turned off digital installation from recovery on laptop
Trued the drivers in win 10
This is driving me nuts so really hoping for help!

Greetings and welcome to assist. Have you enabled usb debugging in settings and put the phone in recovery/download mode

thanks for the response. The p9000 will not go in to recovery mode without twrp - i can only get factory mode and this doesnt work either. It is set for usb debugging. It seems it is an issues with windows 10. fuggingtyfuggityfug

As title says my computer wont detect my viking pro but it will detect all my other androids(phone and other tablet) i have tried to uninstall then plug back in still nothing also changed usb ports nothing installed all latest sdk and adb still nothing also i should mention i tried to plug it into labtop and got usb unrecognized as well also when i go to storage and push the 3 dots the usb computer connection is grayed out maybe that is problem but i cant find how to make it not greyed out any help would be great ty

I am having problem to use my smart phone as a USB drive on my PC. :crying: Earlier it used to. But I even came across that sometimes my PC used to recognize my Homtom HT3 smart phone as M380 (Micromax canvas spark 2) which belongs to my sibling.
The same problem occurred while connecting that phone. But now the PC has stopped detecting both of them. I gotta flash my phone with new ROM but this problem hinders me. Hereby I request any genius who can come up with a solution.
I can provide more info as per needed.

Hello,
Do you have correct drivers installed? Also are you trying to connect phone in fastboot or normal MTP mode?

I have already got drivers installed in my laptop and moreover I downloaded them from internet and while installing came to know that they are already installed.
I am connecting phone in normal MTP mode.
I believe that the problem's with my laptop.
If you can provide any solution, I'll be very grateful!

I am not sure what solution you are looking for.
But just installing the correct drivers should fix the issue.

My Huawei y511 was working fine but last night it just shut down and when I connect it to charger it just shows huawei logo and then dissapers and it keep on going the same..
When I connect it to a windows pc , there just comes the windows usb connection sound and after it the disconnection sound....
I am using windows 10 64-bit ... I have downloaded sp tool and huawei y511 -u30 firmware also but it shows time out or no responce error...
I also have installed vcom mtk drivers (by turning of windows driver signature) but it also does not worked......
Any one has the solution for it ....

Greetings and welcome to assist. You have downloaded everything I would have suggested already, have you tried a hard reset and booting into recocery ? There is this thread I found that may help

But i had recovered it by sptool.. Initially the phone was not responding to windows but then i installed the mediatek vcom drivers and after it formated and then flashed it
