Hi all
Does someone know this issue?
Best regards
Uninstall fb and re install again
Thanks...
already do it :
- Uninstall, reboot, install --> Crash on configuration (just after policies)
- format cache from recovery -> same...
no idea for this moment..
Have you looked into app permission setting and all necessary permission allowed.? Sometimes it could prevent the application running smoothly.
I give all permission et same things...
Ok, I needed to remove messenger too...
Now it's OK
Yep, had the same happen to me yesterday. Only way to recover was by reinstalling both apps.
Here to. Reinstall both apps solved problem! Thanx for this post
I have the same issue. Reinstalling both Facebook and messenger apps did not help. Phone factory reset did not help. Please let me know if there are other ideas
it's the latest update.no fix for this yet

I tried 6 times. During the process, about 7seconds after"installing" it always get back this error No idea what to do
Try clearing data for play store app
I made another factory reset and left all settings by default(location, positioning, bug sharing etc... ) and didn't restore apps from backup. I have manually then started Waze installation in play store and all went okay...
problem is somewhere between backup restore or some settings on initial startup I have unticked on first and second time... If my memory is good, I have disabled google now and anonymous sharing of something...

tested again. It was definitely conflict with some app. I have restored factory again and untick Google Location service and anonymouse data reporting and installed Waze then. All good.
Definitely problem with some of my 64 installed apps.. let's see how it behaves now. Interesting thing is that I tried installation in Safe Mode and it didnt work. So conflict is not causing any running app but something installed before

I cant install Sygic after Waze installation. Seems it is this already reported bug https://code.google.com/p/android-developer-preview/issues/detail?id=1668
when will it be fixed? Any way to use both apps meanwhile??
Waze not launching properly/completely (no errs) on fresh factory flash. Worked fine on Preview.
Sygic/Waze permission
I'm facing the same problem. I have installed Sygic first and then Waze installation from Play Store failed with 505 error.
(Had a complete wipe of my Nexus 5 before A5.0 installation so nothing to uninstall left).
I have tried to force the install with adb install -r com.waze.apk but received the error, again:
pkg: /data/local/tmp/com.waze.apk
Failure [INSTALL_FAILED_DUPLICATE_PERMISSION perm=pioneer.permission.appradio.ADVANCED_APPMODE pkg=com.sygic.aura_voucher]

Hi!
I'm also having problem installing Waze.
Did a factory reset and restored all the apps but Waze didn't install.
Now I can't install Waze from Plays Store, getting the "-505" error.
Hope Waze can fix this on their end, really don't want to reset the phone ones again....

I tried installing a previous version of waze (3.78), and I got the same error. I remember hearing something about the signature on the file being used by another app and thus causing a conflict. Has anyone found a reasonable workaround? Really would like to get waze up and running.
***SOLVED***
I was using Lux Auto Brightness (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vito.lux&hl=en). This thread pointed me in the right direction (http://forums.androidcentral.com/sa...nt-click-install-when-installing-sd-card.html) and I uninstalled the app and I could install apps from storage again.
***SOLVED***
I have encountered a problem with Lollipop - I cannot install backed up apps from storage. The install button is simply inactive.
So, I reinstalled 5.0 factory image and it seemed to fix the problem. BUT, now it doesn't work again.
Anybody got any ideas about what is going on here?
Thanks in advance:good:
Edit: could it have something to do with a locked bootloader? Didn't have that problem with kitkat
Wow, must just be me then...
Back to the drawing board...
Wow, same thing is happening to me too. Can't believe it's due to a brightness app, doesn't seem to be much of a link between the two.

Works with alternative screen filter enabled from advanced settings
Developer of Lux here. This is fixed in the update rolling out today.
Thank you
That trick worked - I emailed the Lux developer and there should be an update coming out today!
* update
If you simply force Lux to close, then you can install apps and then just open the app again.
Hello everybody and thanks in advance.
The thing is that the app CamScanner crashes randomly after launching it, I didn't have this problem in LP (root+Xposed) but in MM (root+Xposed).
After doing a little of research i tried the following without success:
- Uninstalling and reinstalling.
- Delete all the data from both internal and external storage.
- Install a previous version.
- Change several settings in the app.
- Change inside the PlayStore from normal to developer user (allows you to install beta versions).
I'm exhausted of trying to solve the problem but it persists. Any idea would be of great value for me.
Seems the only problem is that Xposed MAY be the only thing interfering with the app. Is there any Modules that you think might irritate the app?

Problem could be Lucky Patcher but i uninstalled the app then reboot and problem persists.
Have you tried CamScanner?

Installed today. Yeah, Definitely something in Xposed. Try reinstalling that.
Hi there. I've just upgraded my phone to Oreo and I have this issue with the 'Files' app (not the My Files app). Whenever the Files app is launched to pick a file (e.g. attach a file in Gmail or select a photo in Snapseed) the Files app will immediately crash with a 'Files has stopped' error.
I have tried booting the phone into safe mode and tried attaching a file in Gmail, which worked perfectly. So my guess is that a third-party app is causing the persistent crash. However, my phone has several apps and trying to identify the culprit app(s) will be too much of a hassle.
Does anyone else have the same issue after upgrading to Oreo and have a solution to it (other than factory resetting)?
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Probably there's a bug somewhere. So you could do any of the following:
1. Wait for an update
2. Do a factory reset
Apart from these two, I don't see other options.

Hmmm well alright, thanks for your help
I have the same problem with my NOTE8, after the March Update, this problem started to appear.
Got in touch with the guys from MyFiles and after few e-mails, they say:
''I checked your log files and found out some error.
But these are regardless of MyFiles so cannot handle it anymore by our side.
com.android.documentsui has problem and it seems to be below apk''
Went here: android.stackexchange.com/questions/187501/what-is-com-android-documentsui
And I believe its a major software glitch that has to be corrected by google/android/samsung...
As others have suggested this may be due to the app nit working with Oreo.
I use FX explorer app from play store, it works with every version of android I have ever used including S8× exynos Oreo
As well as being a great file explorer / management app it can be used to navigate to a specific file to attach etc.

Hi, sorry I forgot to update. I don't know what happened, but I think after a minor software update, the issue resolved on its own.
Nevertheless, thanks for all your insights and advice on this matter
My files stopped on my android galaxy phone
Hello dear,
Hope you are fine.
Dear, I have a problem with my samsung phone which is : "My Files Stopped Working..". Could you help me resolving this problem please??
Also, I have another question, if I want to do system update or software update for my phone, does it affect my files, folders, pictures, videos, etc... Or it just update the phone system??
If you know about these problems, please help me.. And thanks alot.
I downloaded the latest "settings" on telegram, but once installed, I can't access anymore... The application opens then closes straight away..
Any solution to fix? Or do I have to do a reset?
You probably installed a incompatible version, if you use a appmanager you should be able to locate the app (settings) go to manage then uninstall updates it should revert it back.
I've done this and encountered the same issues
I used this; https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lb.app_manager
There are certainly other apps that do the same thing
Thanks for your reply..
I installed this application but it can't work because it needs permissions, and each time I try to access to permissions... It closes
So I used "files" which was already installed and managed to go down factory settings
All works now..
Thank you for giving me this idea

Like I say I've been there & done that, I too have installed "updated" OnePlus apps sometimes with success sometimes with crashes.
You should always be able to downgrade/revert.
Sometimes you get quirky faults
But I've managed to get the theme store and various other things working like fonts etc... I'm still unrooted and standard oos.
I use my NFC a lot and I can't risk tripping saftynet just yet.
