Stuck in recovery mode. - Yu Yunique Questions & Answers

Using CM 14.1 Nougat 7.1 on my Yu Yunique.
Recovery - TWRP 2.8.7 .
All apps started crashing, went to Recovery mode, wiped cache and davlik cache, booted phone, not fixed.
Did a factory reset from settings, now phone only boots up at recovery mode, rebooting into system via recovery mode also doesn't work.
Tried to install a different recovery, but mobile is not entering Bootloader/fastboot mode via recovery mode options OR "Vol Up+Power button", OR command line from PC.
And I guess doing the factory reset also reset the USB debugging settings?
What do I do? I'm unable to boot up my mobile. When powering off via recovery mode, stuck at Yunique logo, and while trying to enter fastboot mode, also stuck at Yunique logo. Please help me.

I've been facing the same issue since I installed the latest update of lineage oS 14.1 I can boot into fastboot mode though. To boot into fastboot you have to press power+volume up. If you do manage to find a solution then help me as well please

First try to flash other ROM
Wipe everything include system, internal storage & data.
Problem should be resolved.
If problem not gone then
Flash stock ROM again using ets tool.
www.firmwarefile.com

If you are going to flash stock recovery than choose the option to download firmware v1 instead of v2. V1 has Volte and v2 doesn't

Flash Stock ROM to fix it.
I had the same problem on my YU Yunique but flashing other rom doesn't work for me. Finally I flashed the Stock Rom using Qualcomm Flash Tool (ets flash tool)to get this fixed and it worked. You can flash twrp and custom ROM after that.

I had the same problem and it occurred when I tried updating lineage OS 14.1 via OTA so first of all I'd recommended to manually flash the update to avoid this problem.
Now the only fix for this issue is to flash stock rom via ets tool. That'll fix the issue and then you can flash twrp again.

[Q] I am stuck up with my bootloader

I have rooted my nexus one and tried to flash a custom rom. I performed following steps:
1. Rooted as per the instruction. After applying the commands It was ready
2. Installed a custom recovery image with recovery-RA-nexus-v1.7.0.img and it was successful. After rebooting i went in to boot loader mode and took a nandroid backup.
3. Then downloaded a custom rom and placed all radio(radio-4.06.00.12_7), Google App(gapps-hdpi-FRF91-signed), CyanogenMod 6(update-cm-6.0.0-N1-RC2-signed) in to my root of the SD card.
4. Rebooted with recovery mode (holding volume down and power) and selected recovery and it rebooted but got a orange !(symbol) with android and nothing happens.
Please any one help me to how to resolve this. I tried once again installed a custom recovery with the same image. But no luck
Try to reflash CM or restore nandroid backup and then reflash CM

Can't access bootloader.

Hi,
My friend has an Xperia L with cyanognemod 11 running on it. Tried to flash resurrection remix ROM and ended up bad. These are the steps I followed:
1. cwrp recovery was already installed and bootloader was already unlocked.
2. I copied the resurrection remix zip file into sd card
3. Went to recovery, wiped cache partition. (Did not do a factory reset. My mistake).
4. Installed the zip
5. Installed the WRONG version of Gapps. Installed gapps for 4.4 instead of 5.1.
6. Device successfully booted to resurrection remix. However, the wallpaper and apps that were already there is still there! It was like I upgraded the phone to lolippop. However, it is not possible to use the phone because com.android.phone keeps crashing and everything is very sluggish. I was hoping for a fresh install.
7. Now the problem - I can't access the bootloader. If I do adb reboot bootloader or select bootloader from recovery, it just gives me a blue charging light and that's it. But I can access recovery and boot to os still. Also, cwrp recovery is now replaced by cyangenmod recovery and I can't factory reset/wipe cache from it. It fails with 'cannot load volume /misc' when I try to flash the same ROM again.
8. I can't even do a factory reset after booting into resurection remix. I press 'reset factory settings' and nothing happens.
So any ideas? The really bad thing is that I can't access the bootloader and hence cannot use fastboot.

There are many ways to get out of this. Nothing is really messed up. If you get a blue led, it means you're in the bootloader. Try reinstalling your fastboot drivers. Firstly, get a fota recovery. If you can boot into android, install this app, [APP][RECOVERY][ROOT]Recoveries and Recovery Installer for Taoshan , allow root access (Enable under developer options), and install Twrp. Boot into twrp, and you can wipe system, data, cache and reinstall your rom without gapps.
The app is hardly recommended by me in this case ( okok i know xD )
After reboot bootloader you get blue led... THAT is fastbootmode
And btw you cant load volumen /misc because our device have no so thats not a error (you can ignore it )
Sent from my mint using XDA Free mobile app
Thanks agent_fabulous and barbarossa, but when the blue light was on 'fastboot devices' did not list any devices. Also, unplugging the device from my pc seemed to turn it off. So I thought it was some sort of charging mode rather than fastboot. Thanks for the information, I will try them and get back to you. This community rocks!
Solved!
Using that app to install twrp worked. Wiped everything and flashed the ROM again. Working like a charm. Thanks a lot

Most probably the twrp and the ROM are incompatible and you have to make choice BTW the two or you accidentally wiped the os.
Things you could try are 1)flash another custom ROM
2)flash another recovery
3)flash stock rom
4)restore a backup if you made any.

Not familiar with tuga twrp. But you could always try going back to 100% stock and starting over.

Bricked device?

I unlocked the bootloader through mi unlock tool. I flashed official twrp from their site, 3.3.1-0-violet.img but when I tried booting it into recovery, it got stuck at twrp logo. Then I learnt that it's necessary to wipe userdata using fastboot first so I did that. Then, when twrp started, it was unable to install/wipe/mount any partition. Tried installing magisk using sideload, did work but then device stopped booting.
Figured out a way on how to fix the mount issue, twrp working fine, but then I accidentally wiped /system. Now my device only opens in fastboot, even though I've tried installing, erasing and reinstalling that twrp recovery as well as a couple of others I found in pixel experience forums for my device.
I've got all the stuff needed to install pixel experience, fcrypto disabler, xiaomi latest firmware and the rom itself. Can anyone guide me on how to install it using fastboot?
Also whenever I try booting the recovery image straight from fastboot, it says that command failed, too many links.
I can't boot into recovery via vol up + power button, fastboot doesn't recognize command fastboot reboot recovery.
you need to install stock rom ,then flash twrp but newer unofficial twrp and orangefox twrp boots into recovery even if system partition is empty.
try installing unofficial twrp or orangefox.
orangefox is recommended .
