Flashed last night, network coverage for 2nd sim was very poor, replaced modem.img from kk_s005 update and it's working fine. as u have mentioned, browser fc, app store in chinese, no local themes and ringtones, instead of sim name it shows no service for both the sim(screenshot attached). rest i'll review later.
Nice rom, buttery smooth, best battery back up, very nice camera......

1. Signal Reception is Very Bad, both Sim randomly searching for network. (Screenshot Attached)
2. SuperUser is Very Slow. It Count 5 Second every time for every permission. (Not A Big Issue)
3. Memory Needs to Be Swapped. Phone Memory is showing as Default External Sd Card. ( @avi3230 please Provide a Patch for Swapping Memories Please)
4. Default Browser Freezing (Not a Big Issue)
Conclution:
Miui Fans will Love this Rom. I will keep it as my daily use Rom. Perfectly Crafted.
This rom is perfectly ported and All Features Working Well.
Overall Score I will Give to this Rom is 9/10. ;-D

About the cons
1. now ur signal reception is working properly after using new modem.img?? thanks to @sachin.r.fulzele sir.
2. superuser in MIUI is like this which is provided by xiaomi itself.

dont change build.prop by any means
it will lead to misbehavior and may cause bootlogo stuck or bootloop in animation. (Belive me I already tried it)

Same poor signal problem again by Flashing this zip @avi3230. don't know the signal strength for 2nd sim as I am using single sim in Sim 1 Tray.

worked for me, the signal strength is very good now...
is there such a fix for wifi signal too? im getting pretty low signal strength....
@avi3230 another problem which only i seem to be having is fast battery drain..... other users reported very good battery backup, but in my case the rom drained 47 percent battery in 2 hours(constant usage of wifi, screen was on almost all of the time since i was looking the features...)
another question... how do i switch to art runtime on this rom?
Enable quick root permission in MIUI v 6
This will install a new quick superuser on MIUI 6. Because most user who use root apps frequently will not have time to wait 20 second for default SU.
1. Download supersu attached
2. Flash from recovery or system update and select update package.
3. Open supersu (after reboot) it will not detect root.
4. Now go to security-> permissions and give it root permission only once.
5. Update su binary if prompted
6. Now supersu will prompt to grant root access to your app so no more wait.
don't forget to press thanks button if it is useful to you...
*Try at your own risk. It worked for me at-least.

@aaayush_singh Battery is giving an average backup for me... @avi3230 you can see the mobile signal network at last in screenshot. flashing the Modem.img zip didn't work for me, after that i replaced modem.img with stock kk and got problem resolved.

i just installed supersu from play store, gave it root permissions, and updated binary...works fine for me......

Here's the problem : my provider allow me to use hotspot, but my phone don't.
I managed to resolve this thanks to this thread.
But I thought a little flashable zip could help some others people
So i made one, originally for my Oukitel K6000 Pro, but i thinks it may apply for most of android 6+ phones (maybe 5+ ... anyone can confirm ?)
What this script does :
- Edit or add net.tethering.noprovisioning=true in build.prop
- Enable init.d script (without busybox)
- Do `settings put global tether_dun_required 0` on each start with init.d script
- Add ',dun' to your enabled APNs
Required :
- Your phone
- Your head
- A backup of your phone (just in case)
- An USB cable
- A recovery (tested only on TWRP but CWM should work no problem)
Installation :
- Push zip to phone
- Reboot phone to recovery
- Flash tetherByPass.zip
- Reboot
- Try & enjoy
You shouldn't need to clean cache/dalvik, or mount system (or data) before flashing.
Everything is done in script, but feel free to do it if you want =)
Known bug :
- Doesn't work on phones which doesn't show tethering menu (like Sprint galaxy note 4) yet ...
Corrected in v0.92 :
- settings put cmd in init.d script doesn't work on some devices
Corrected in v0.91 :
- telephony.db causing FC of com.android.phone at restart.
If you have this problem, via adb shell do "rm /data/data/com.android.providers.telephony/databases/telephony.db"
You don't even need to restart your phone, it should rebuild the database itself.
I know why it does this, i'm actually trying to correct this

Well, it pretty must apply everything that has been done in this thread.
Originally for Nexus 6, those things has been applied for a lot of different phone. Some worked, some don't.
I put every manipulation I found in this little script.
There is no big modification (only init.d enabler, which is already enable on almost every phone which has a custom recovery). So I didn't make an uninstaller, Should I ?

I tried it on my SM-N910P (Sprint galaxy note 4) with MM 6.0.1 and systemless root supersu 2.78 but it didn't work.
I flashed it from twrp recovery.

Hmm, ok let's check some stuff before look deeper :
- In your build.prop you should find "net.tethering.noprovisioning", probably at the end - confirm ?
- It should be followed by "1" or "true" - confirm ?
- Then via ADB, do "settings get global tether_dun_required", it should give you a "0" (zero) - confirm ?
If those three things are ok, we didn't find a solution for you phone yet.
Maybe try to add ",dun" in your APN (do you know how to ?) but my script should allow your phone to bypass this.

You could try again but I don't think it will change anything, I'm looking for a solution about your APN.

I tried this before and tried it again.
The only thing that works for me is the mods which some developers do in services.jar and makes wifi Hotspot works.
When I used Galaxy Tools GT3.1.5 by idone the WiFi Hotspot seems to work but I couldn't see tethering and Hotspot in settings.
I have to tap on hotspot settings in GT snd the hotspot launches.
But under settings there's no thing tells hotspot.

So the menu doesn't exist in your phone ... I did some research and ... it's kinda weird :|
My mod aim to delete provider provisioning, but I don't know how to re-enable your menu and I thinks that only an app (or service) can use your wifi :/
Sooooo my mod is useless for you ... I will to enhance my mod so phone like yours can share their connection. But not for now.

I already make workaround solution to get WifiHotspot, instead of the option in the settings I used nova launcher activities to make a shortcut in my home page and the WiFi Hotspot started successfully but when I connect from any device it stucks on (obtaining IP address).
Is there any fix for this?

Well It should work. But for some people the problem still remains. It seems that android 7.* ignore net.tethering.noprovisioning=true in build prop.
As there is an uninstaller, you cans till try and tell me if it works.
And, as allways, do a backup in case somethings goes wrong

It should work, try it anyway
If it doesn't work, just use uninstaller.zip to clean all the modifications the mod made.
And, as always, do a backup before install in case something goes wrong

- Flash it through NEW recovery mod "TWRP" version 3.1.1-0. You can find it HERE ;
- If you come from Android 6 official firmware, flash the TWRP recovery through SP Flashtool;
- Download the ROM from the specified link;
- Copy ROM on the MicroSD card (or OTG).
- Enter into recovery.
- Go to "wipe" and sequentially carried wipe the following: "Date Format" (write "yes"), "factory reset" and then scrolling down to "Wipe Advanced", select "Dalvik/ART cache", "system", "cache", "data" and "internal memory", then swipe to confirm!!
- Go back and go to "Install", navigate the menus until you find your ROM previously saved and flash it;
- Wait ~ 10 minutes;
- Once finished, the TWRP can ask you to install the TWRP APP in system. Please uncheck the flags to decline AND NOT SWIPE.
- Restart, and wait whitout touch anything. The smartphone will reboot itself 2 times. DON'T TOUCH IT!! After this, the first boot takes ~ 15 minutes.
- At first boot, we can get a notification of IMEI errors. Please, don't scare you, it's all right! Configure all normally and reboot. All will back normal after reboot.

I wan't to report a bug. The mobile data conection doesn't work, that is, when I press for the conection, both sim's lost mobile network conection, jaming the phone. I need to disconect the mobile data and reboot the phone to reconect to the mobile network conection.

Overall I can report not random crashes, no random reboots, quick and screen is more responsive than stock and overall very stable :good:
However did find a couple of bugs;
1. I do have the same signal issue as reported by @paristester. When the phone first boots it shows my network (3UK) in the corner with signal bars, 3UK on the Sim name and APN is correct. But after about 10 seconds all these disappear. Its not saying there is no Sim, just doesn't seem to recognise it displaying NO Service (i tried other networks and both Sim slots, but with same results)
2. Can not access the settings for the Hotspot to change name and password. An error message appears at the bottom of the screen asking if I wish to report it to MIUI

Same to me, it disconect mobile network conection when activate mobile data.(No Services is dispayed on the name operator)
Attention to the first start it deleted me folder Camera from DCIM on external SD (other folder from DCIM no) and no other folder on the external card (I' think) .Be careful and save yours foto from ext. SD
In the rest is very nice rom.

Yes, there is a problem with mobile data.
As soon as you activate them the "No service" label appears.
If you need any log, ask for them.
No problem with the rest of the ROM.

Have you got another sd card you can try, as I have no issues. Mine is visible in file manger and accessible
I don't have any spare sd card at this moment. I will check that later. However, in logs I can see that there was a problem with mounting this card. Neither reinserting nor wiping card take any positive result.

That situation happened to me too, but with a reboot the problem is solved.
Does anyone have a Miui account?
I have, and say no to send an SMS confirmation, I think the problem as to do with that, the Miui account disable de Sim cards if does'nt have a confirmation contact with the phone, I could be wrong but I think is it!

I did try adding a MIUI account, and also tried fresh install and added the details for a MIUI account in the setup, but unfortuantly had same result of NO SERVICE.
Maybe its a UK network glitch.

Yes, I can imagine he is on the case
Apart from the minor Signal issue and the unable to access the setting to change the Hotspot Password, I can find no other issues. Screen seems more responsive, quicker at opening apps than the stock releases. Certainly cant fault @cuvetto abilities :highfive::good:

Appart from the bugs reported previously ("No service", Hot Spot settings") I'm going to add a new one.
When you try to active "Find device" in MIUI Account appears the next message: "find device storage corrupted ....".
Otherwise the rom works great and very fluid. The battery last more than before.
I'm uploading now the new version of the ROM, named EPIC ROM-UNOFFICIAL_V2

I tryed to install magisk too and also ended up with a bootloop, so it don`t seems it does not work on the K6 ,or maybe we made a procedure error????
maybe it would be helpfull to make a tutorial how to flash and install Magisk ( if it really works)??

For those trying to get Magisk to work on the K6 the latest Magisk doesn't work, However Magisk 14 works perfectly so get Magisk 14 it took me a while to figure it out so I tried 14 and it worked!

I followed magisk install precisely and even cooked my boot.img with superr's kitchen so I'm pretty sure I have found a bug with magisk, which by the way is the beta version 15.3(1531) here . My findings so far require me to dig deeper and send in some logs from a twrp install attempt to the magisk dev.

I wish 15 did work it has a lot more features on it because 15 worked on my Outkitel K6000 and it has a lot more modules.

no I've tried that, it installs then reboots but still says 14 is installed and says 15.3 is available.

Common issue on latest Mediatek devices, the Magisk team should add a compatibility mode for those.

Nope, you can't. LTE Bands are hardcoded on ALL devices and can't be modified.
MT6763 supports lte band 5 and band 40 , band 41, but firware doesn't allow it why?? False info given on official site that it suppports volte, it doesnt my previous leeco le 2 used to support volte for my sim, this one wont, it only supports data.....and most of the time switches off automatically in idle mode(when not using) every time i have to start again, but if screen is on it wont get switch off automatically, really this is weird phone...any solution??

The chipset doesn't matter, the manufacturer provides a list of the supported bands, picture attached below. You must have checked it before.

As regards VoLTE, even though it supports it, it doesn't necessarily mean that your carrier accepts it on its network.

after inserting SIM card in slot 1,
I did it like this.

5. + (new APN)
6.editing : Name
7.editing : APN
8.editing : MMSC
9.editing : MMS port
10.editing : MCC
11.editing : MNC
12. tap 3 dots at top right
13. tap SAVE
and there's only one list of EMERGENCY CALL, and no list what I just saved.
So, I changed another SIM card which is working on another android smart phone, and it happens same situation.
And when the SIM card is moved into other (originally used) phone, it works well.
Two SIMs are same.
My SIM card also works well at my former android phone at now.
Please give me some more TIPs...

Volte not Working Sir
I flashed Rom v1.2 M50 Star on my 402+ Sky Mobile distributed by CG Govt. Everything is working fine as of now instead of VoLTE.
Network is showing. Internet also working. But VoLTE is missing.
Settings like enhanced volte mode are correctly set and there is no effect when changing preferred network to 3g/2g. Jio receives 4G signal every time.
In Testing menu, Preferred network type is set to unknown and volte provisioned is enabled. Changing both these settings don't have any effect and they revert to default automatically after exit.
Calling is working by using Jiocall App but i hate using an app for calling when phone is Volte enabled out of the box. Please suggest any solution or patch the Rom for volte issue.

In Testing menu, Preferred network type is set to unknown and volte provisioned is enabled. Changing both these settings don't have any effect and they revert to default automatically after exit.
Calling is working by using Jiocall App but i hate using an app for calling when phone is Volte enabled out of the box. Please suggest any solution or patch the Rom for volte issue.

you can use 360os rom instead of this for volte feature https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/360-os-rom-micromax-bharat-2-cg-sky-t3936724 (only video call bug but whatsapp video call working)
or infocus A2 rom

i will look for volte bug on this rom but for now you can use above roms( preferably 360 OS ROM)

I followed the instructions but when I boot back into the recovery mode, I am stuck at the `Swipe to unlock` TWRP screen. I cannot do anything. The screen is not responsive. Pressing volume or power button locks the screen and I have to reboot the phone again. Or can you please provide me the stock recovery?

have you replaced your touch panel recently?.
your kernel disabled touch in twrp recovery but you can use cwm recovery

flash this recovery. put rom.zip file in external sd card . wipe system, data ,cache and dalvik then enjoy the rom.

Hi thanks for the reply. No the phone is pretty new and the touch panel was not touched. I don't have the phone with me right now. I will try it when I get my hands on the phone.

sorry to tell you bro but there is no successful method to root android 7.0 without pc .OR you can simply Go to mobile store/technician near you and ask him for flashing twrp recovery only or you can borrow someone pc (friends).
you dont have to do much just follow this steps here or if you need i will make an video tutorial for you

Ok .. but i dont have this device so i will make test builds. You might be face some bugs but i will try my level best. Is someone near you ,want to sell his device (micromax q440 ) bharat 4. I m interested to buy(for rom port)
There is many roms for your device that i can port. You definetly love to flash and use as daily driver. Only problem is that i dont hav this device for bug fixing. But dont worry i will make for you

what is your current os Linux or Window ?
if Windows then which version ? 32bit or 64bit
first of all, uninstall all adb and spdtreatrum driver from your current windows from control panel (program and feature) or use usb deview (portable version) depend upon your current os type 32/64bit.
run as administrator (and select and unistall).
if your current os is win 10/8/8.1 or 7 then yo have to reboot in test mode (search google for how to boot win 10 in test mode)
means you have to disable driver signature enforcment.
then install 15 sec adb & fastboot installer - https://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=4623157&d=1540039037

then reboot again in test mode. this time it will recognize your device in fastboot mod

Sir, a great thanks for the ROM.
I have few questions about the ROM:
1. The network is restarting frequently after every few minutes. How to fix this? This problem is not faced in Stock ROM. Link for screen recorded video : https://youtu.be/by85zLwpnNQ
2. My mobile has got infected with two Malwares, "xhelper" and "fireway". Do you have any idea on how to remove them and prevent them from coming again. When i uninstall both, they install themselves again. Don't know which app is the real culprit behind them.
3. There is a system update. Is that for Custom ROM or the phone of which this ROM originally is?

i had removed my 360os Rom link from thread because of that virus. please switch your current rom to other.
do a clean install ,wipe everthing system,data,internal sd, cache even your extcard for safety.
switch your current rom to IDOS or Infocus Rom. The rom ported from qmobile is infected with virus(from manufacturer).

for 1st -delete all apn settings and create new one manually.
3rd . if you try to download that update it will never install in current os due to system modified. rooted and twrp recovery
