Moto g 3rd gen. Seems simple enough to disable vibrate on incoming calls by unchecking the box but what is the purpose of having that option on the phone when the phone vibrates on incoming calls regardless of whether it is ticked on or not?
Just trying to understand the cause of this issue so I can put it to rest. I had to airplane mode the phone a few times in order to solve this issue.
It's a stock MotoG3 unlocked. It's amazing how this vibrate feature can not be controlled by the user.

Hi,
Not sure if this is a problem or is there some hidden settings i can tweak for this. Back in Jollibean, whenever my phone receiving a call, it will ring its ringtone and vibrate continuosly until i pick up the call.
Now after lollipoped, the phone will still play its ringtone when during a income call but it will only vibrate for like the 1st second and then it will stop vibrate.
This '1st second vibrate only' also happened when using 'vibration mode only' and turning off the ringtone.
Anyone got this problem as well?
The following problem happens every time. If I am in a call and a another call comes in I get that bip in the headset. I look at the screen and see the 2nd caller, with a few options like answer, reject, etc.
The problem is that if I don't touch the screen and just let the 2nd caller keep calling, when I put the phone to my ear to continue the first conversation, the phone automatically switches to the 2nd call and puts the first one on hold.
This is incredibly annoying and even put me in cumbersome situations because the 2nd caller was on without me knowing it.
I can replicate this every single time, my sister as well on her Z3 compact, so it's a software problem.
Any solutions?
If anyone else has this problem just deactivate smart call handling from settings. Problem solved. Unfortunately we lose the smart answer as well.
Well, i've checked the option "Also vibrate for calls" in the settings, but the phone vibrates only once, and then stops. I want the vibration to work until i pick up the call, since there are many times while walking with headphones that i don't really realize i have an incoming call.
Is there a way to fix this? I'm on stock GPE lollipop.
So to start, yes, my OPO DOES vibrate when quiet hours is off. So it's not a vibrator motor problem.
My issue is that with quiet hours on, I want to allow all calls to cause my phone to vibrate. I have unchecked 'Disable Vibrations' and 'Phone Ringer' is set to 'Ring for all callers' within quiet mode. My phone sound is set to vibrate, ring mode is set to vibrate, and vibrate when ringing are all activated.
Nonetheless, when a call comes in, the phone does not ring.
I have tried following the steps here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=55255610&postcount=11 as well as done a reboot subsequently. No avail.
Any kind soul with an idea?
I notice that when my Pixel is on vibrate, my watch will not notify of me of incoming calls. However, when i turn the volume up on the phone, the watch will ring and/or vibrate. Anyone else experience this? My phones screen wont even turn on.
I'm surprised no one else is experiencing this. My phone just will not ring whenever i get an incoming call.
I sometimes i have the same issue, but i don't know why.
When I disconnect and reconnect the bluetooth at my phone, regularly works.
