I want to install Touchone keyboard on my gear S3 Frontier, but I can't find this apllication on galaxy app store? anybody knows how can I get it on S3 ? thnaks!

Sure. I used Galaxy Apps, searched "touch keyboard", and installed.

Maybe there's a region restriction.
Try an app called 'marker enabler' to change your app store region to US/AT&T

My phone isn't rooted. this app works on non-rooted phones?
if wifi is activated on gear S3, can I access directly galaxy apps from smartwatch, without phone ?
p.s.
I'm using elephone p5000 with miuipro android 4.4.2
The number of apps that you can access from the watch is very limited.
For the market enabler to work I believe you need to have a routed device.
Is there anybody who have access to Touchone keyboard on galaxy apps from non-samsung phone ?

I'm trying to download a free app called "SkyMotion", but because of country restrictions I can't.
So I tried Market Helper, but I can only select the S3 for the simulated device.
But, the app isn't S3 compatible, only S4. So I'm still unable to download it.
Is there a work around to add the S4 to Market Helper's equipment list ?
Or any other way to download apps from a "restricted" country ?
I've tried VPN software on my phone, but that didn't help.

I can get into the store but apps never download, says installing and then stops. I cleared cache but still not working.
Any one has an idea why this is happening?

change latest gear manager apk to older one . the latest apk has alot of issues i think..

This one works for me.
This my fault , my Samsung gear app works , but I didn't have samsung app store on my phone its verizon, when I try to install apps on my watch a, samsung apps force close and I can't download anything to the watch it's getting annoying

You can't .and even if you download an apk of the preferred app it won't work .

Dear @Querty@, I already did it, I found the way...
As you see in the main post, I use cm, and that means my android is updated, but not information for Google play store...

Sorry for the hurried response.
There are a handful of reasons why app is incompatible.
1) android version - some apps are not compatible with android versions .updating your android version will work .
2)hardware -let's say that I want to shoot a 360 panorama. But my device has no gyromerter ,so I may get incompatible or they may let me download but the app won't work perfectly.
3)geo restrictions- some apps cannot be installed in some country or the app hasn't been released yet for that country. Enabling proxy and changing your location may or may not work.
Now for by " already did it " you mean you already installed then good for you.
But keep in mind that cm11=KitKat that is android4.4.x
Using cm11 don't mean that your device is updated there is still cm12/12.1(lollipop) cm13(marshmallow).
If you want more help cite the app you want installed and I'll go over the device requirement.
PS:if the problem is geo restrictions ,then using apps like tunnelbear,market helper and searching for the app in chrome store may help

Yes, its easy. You just need a samsung phone with galaxy apps store installed, an APK extractor installed on the samsung phone. Then to download the app ingo the watch you just need to remove the sim card from your pixel, install a vpn app (i use opera vpn and connected to USA server) with this i can see paid apps on the gear store, then you just need to download de uber app from the gear store.

Hi all,
i just got my Samsung S3 Gear classic and i was excited to get it working with my mobile. I download the Samsung gear app and turn the watch on, found the watch in the app and followed the messages. It asks to pair the devices and then to download the Samsung plug in and accessory from the apps stores. After completing these actions, the Samsung Gear app tries to connect to the phone and then the screen changes and shows the phone is pair but not connected. See pictures attached. This means i can only pair the phone but i can use the app to enable the functionalities. Every time i tried to connect it just takes me to the same screen. I tried resetting the watch, installing again all programs, tried the watch with Samsung phone (works fine), tried other watches with my mobile (same issue repeated) etc but never made them work.
Does anyone knows how to make the gear app work with the Z5? Are these devices compatible?

My Gear S2 works with my Z5 Compact.

Yes, installed the first Samsung Manager and it asked for downloading others part like accessory, samsung account and others. After manager searching Gear and after click on my Gear name it launch a screen like your shot, after a while it say connected and asked for loggin on samsung account....
I have a Z5 Premium and it works fine with my S3. Are you on the stock Sony ROM?
The problem might be a rooted or modified phone.

Did you try the modified gear app in my link?
I started with the watch, then downloaded the gear app and let the gear app download its services. it was very straightforward

I just installed the Samsung Gear App. So yes, download them and just install them.
The other 3 apps are installed automatically from PlayStore. If not you can install them manually too.

Hi Maik, i downloaded the gear app and manually tried to install it. I got the message that cannot be installed because it conflicts with another package same name. See photo attached. I am not sure what can i do. I uninstalled all previous Samsung applications.

This means the Samsung Gear app from PlayStore is still installed.
Check settings > apps and uninstall it > Reboot your phone.

Did that and still get the same message. Does not allow me to install the app.
I always stuck on the same step, pairing the phone and while gear tries to connect then return to the previous screen and do not connect...not sure i got many options here.
