Hello this is WatchMaster.
Unfortunately, WatchMaster doesn't create/leave any files on your device memory storage once you download the watchfaces so there isn't a way to move our watchfaces / our app to other devices especially iOS. Since we do not officially support iOS devices yet, so even when you do succeed on moving our App to iOS the program will not work.
We are currently working so that iOS users can be able to use WatchMaster as well, but this is still a work in progress. Please understand the circumstances and wait for us, we hope to bring all of the iOS users better service soon.
If you have any other questions or issues please contact us via email ([email protected]) and we will be happy to help you out.
Thank you and best regards.

Free Remote Android Support App

Zikk is unique mobile to mobile remote support app.
So what's so special about Zikk?
It is designed for consumers and not for IT depatments and operators,
therefore it is extremely simple and user friendly.
It provides full privacy protection - no screen sharing, and no access to SMS, email, etc.
It doesn't require constant internet access, and doesn't prevent the recipient from using his
phone for other purposes during the process.
It supports all Android devices (2.2 and above).
In addition to remote support, Zikk contains a local settings menu which uses Zikk's simple
and friendly interface.
When people have a hard time setting up their smartphones, they ask help from their friends
and family - Zikk enables users to help each other.
APK attached. Also available on Google-Play (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.zikk.alpha)
where you will also find a short and helpful demo video. You van also find the video on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IsP9-Lpfwpk).
So both people need Zikk installed, I presume? Does the person you are helping get prompted to download it?

Correct. If the selected contact does not have the app, the user will be asked to allow sending
an automatic SMS with a link to the download page. There is also a share option where you can
send this message (via SMS, WhatsApp, Facebook, etc.) to one or more people.

This really does sound great; however, does it support wifi-only tablets? Is the phone number just to receive verification code? If so, will any mobile phone number work?

The current version is designed for Android phones does not support WiFi-only tablets or
large screen tablets, however in a few weeks I will publish the tablet version, which will
include UI adjustments, tablet related features and a different registration process.
Sounds AMAZING! I'd really like to use this to help my friends and family. I live in India though
No worries, I'll wait
fantastic idea!!! this will surely take off!! kudos to the OP!!
how far this app will go ? I mean can I help someone from anywhere ?
What about phone types? What if my phone is a Nexus and the other device is a HTC?

Nicely done though. Props.

Thanks, updated - since I'm a new member I can't post links so
I posted the app's package name and the title of the demo video
on YouTube. I will replace it with actual links as soon as I can.

Cool, like the concept of it. But really wish it could do the updates of apps. And PRL updated. The many things my mother and sister never do.

Great ideas for the next version - thank you very much!
I like the app a lot, but what make it one of the best is if I could move, install, & uninstall system apps, and a root file manager so that we can help rooted users also
uninstalled this app from my Galaxy Note i717 and now the home screen is gone and I cant get back into recovery?

Actually a version for rooted users is an interesting idea. Not sure how common "less tech savvy"
rooted users are though. If you have more ideas for features for rooted users I would love to hear them.
I actually have a friend who is just getting into root use who calls for advice when he needs it. Let's be honest we were all beginners once and maybe could have used a little hand. He moved recently so there is distance involved now. This looks like a great idea.
I would love to have access to the settings menus, root file explorer and perhaps apps he already has installed such as set CPU or apps of that nature.
Beginners in root use are just as confused by root abilities as beginners in android are of it's stock features at times.
It would be really great to be able to start a log cat app and have your friend do something that normally causes a crash for example if they are not advanced enough to run one themselves. A current issue I have on hand. Trying to explain how to run one and sending videos to watch.
Hope this keeps going

How are you making the watch faces?

I love all the custom watch faces you guys are making and want to join in--what are you using to make these?
Using Multi-Watch, you can preload watchfaces from Gearfaces.com on the Gear and then use the hands and change the backgrounds if you want.

Thanks. That app must be crazy good, I haven't played with it yet but hope to contribute soon.
will it take custom images for the hands or do you have to use hands that have already been made on another watch theme?

Currently you can't use it to load your own hands other than creating a watchface with the hands first and then pushing it to the watch itself. Once you do that, though, you can use those hands as the basis of other watchfaces. Developer has mentioned that the saving/exporting of watchfaces customized in his app is on the roadmap.
Apps to Gear Neo
Hello All,
I am new to this forum so I apologize if this topic is already been discuss. I have been trying to change the face of my Gear Neo since morning with no luck. I read many post even installed the Tizen IDE but still can't figure it out.
I am sure I am doing something wrong for sure because it can't be this difficult. I downloaded Watch Styler but that didn't work. The funny part is when I installed the watch styler I don't even see the new theme option.
I can't find Multi-Watch on google store or on samsung store. Can someone please help.
I have Galaxy S-4 running on Kitkat 4.4.2.
On the side note I did rooted my phone and have to restore it with stock rom because the gear manager wasn't working with rooted version.
I will greatly appreciate any help.

Gear Manager works on my Note 3 with a custom ROM.

Root access

I know it seems rather trivial, but is there someone working on root access for the gear s2? I'd love custom ringtones like on my gear s.
It can be done without rooting your device. Unfortunately, I don't have a 3g S2 to test it :-/
if you have a method, I'd be more than willing to test and get back to you . Tired of the boring stock tones lol
Actually I'm working on one, and it's very close to release
I can help test with a 3G version as well.

Thanks! Currently, I'm having troubles with installing the file on a tester watch other than my own. The steps are rather complicated and difficult due to Samsung's strict policy about distributing apps outside the store. Once the problem is solved, I will let you know. :fingers-crossed:
Thanks! I have sdb setup on my computer at home, and the ability to install sideloaded wgt files if that helps

The problem now is that even if I signed the wgt file with the tester's watch id, it still refuses to install. I'm trying to solve it before I invite more people to test
I also have a 3G version, will be willing to test out. Really sounds dumb, but i want to have custom ringtones, i bought the Filemaster app for $3, it shows you root access. but will not let you transfer to that folder.
Unless someone has a way to do that.
Let me know if you need any testing.
Ok guys any news on rooting this baby?

With root access, is one able to modify system settings like on Android phones (like buildprop tweaks)?
I'm specifically looking for ways to fix the buggy always-on mode still turning off the display & to change the screen timeout.
But if one modifies the watch, will OTA updates still work?
And is there an Odin-like program for the Gear S2?

Damn, just found this thread and read through it. Haven't looked at Tizen development yet, but am well-experienced developing for Android.
@tipztv, what you mention about deployment is very troubling! How does this issue affect private app development and deployment on one's own watch? I have all kinds of little apps I've developed over the years just for myself to plug functionality holes or just make something easier to do on the phone. Of course, with Android, it's trivial to do this. How about on Tizen?
No news about the root ?
Was root never achieved?

Gear S2 Clock Face Request

I believe I've looked almost everywhere, and after a couple hours looking I give up and decided to ask:
On my GEAR S I have a clock face with the basics: Time in big bold numbers a the top, followed below in smaller fonts: Notifications count, Calendar (or agenda, whatever) count and weather.
It also has a short description of what's coming up for me: Next meeting (for instance: (Staff meeting 0800-1200))
I'm a Safety Manager (OSHA, on military installations) and that's all I need to get through the day. I just bought this S2 and LOVE IT, but I can't seem to locate a clock face that tells me everything I need at a glance.
Ideas?
Thanks, guys and gals. NICE WORK on what you do have available, and it looks like most of them are a lot of HARD WORK too!
Rick
Right now this is impossible to accomplish with the gear watch designer. Maybe in a future update, it can be done. But as for now, the options just aren't available without making a whole stand alone program to run on the phone so you can display weather and all the various notifications.

Thank you. A veritable Gold Mine of watch faces. With that being said I searched through all 11 pages and did not find a single watch face that displays the weather or notifications or otherwise on the home face.
Please believe me when I say I am not trying to be argumentative. I am just dying (figuratively) to learn how to incorporate these complications directly on the watch face instead of tapping to open the Weather or notification app. The complications in GWD are really limited.
P.s. For anyone else interested be sure to add the S on the address

Ah haaa. So I was not mistaken. Mkowy led me to believe it was possible NOW. If it's on the interwebs, it must be true. Amirite?

Question Galaxy Watch 4 doesn't pick up all steps on 3rd party watch face.

Hey guys,
I've recently received my Galaxy Watch 4 and noticed that when using 3rd party watch faces, such as Facer and Mr Time, the interface doesn't pick up all my step count. For instance, I'm currently at 6344 on the official Samsung Health app, but only at 2281 on the faced watch face.
I've made sure to look at all my settings, closed Galaxy Gear app, clear the cache didn't work. Factory reset the phone and the watch, didn't work...
Kinda lost, anybody stumbled into this issue or have an idea on a fix.
Thanks

I'd love to tell you I didn't but they couldn't help. Keep in mind it's not 1 watch face, it's all watch faces from 3rd party such as Facer and Mr Time
Seems to be the 3rd party watch faces responsibilities to work efficiently with Watch 4! Cheers

Simple question: does default Samsung watchface correctly show steps ?
Yes it does...
I'd love to tell that this way you answered yourself. As far as I know GW4 incorporates latest incarnation of Wear OS. This way not only watchfaces but many apps ( Wear OS ready ) does not work properly ( i.e. "Messages"). Even buit in Outlook deos not work for me.
IMHO: There is no other way then their creators make propper adjustments.

Hi my bro, for me Facer working great on my GW4 classic (latest update), no problem at all.
I do not use faces from Facer and Mr Time but I can tell you there are Wear face developers out there that have fully functional faces that work great on the GW4. I use several of Matteo Dini's faces:
play.google.com/store/apps/dev?id=7920922820385858766&hl=en_US&gl=US
Thanks guys. I might be a one off, or not, but steps aren't the same on stock app than on Facer watch face. No biggie. Thanks
