[Completed] Vodafone Smart Prime 6 Stock Recovery - XDA Assist

Hello i need the stock recovery for Vodafone Smart Prime 6 [VFN895N] (with NFC). I need to flash the OTA update which i cant do with TWRP. If anyone has this phone and its rooted can you please install Flashify and send me the backup of recovery? If you happened to already have a backup would you be so kind to send it to me please? I tried using FlashFire but that didn't work as well, i always get this error
Code:
Cant mount /dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/system at /system resource or device busy
Thanks a lot!

Hi,
I can't find a stock recovery on XDA. This thread has stock firmware though, perhaps it will help? https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/request-vodafone-smart-prime-6-vf-895n-t3174232
Otherwise, I'd try a Google search for it. And if you want to ask XDA members, try asking in an active thread for your device, or ask here, https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help
Good luck!

[Completed] [Q] galaxy s duos 2 soft bricked..

HI..
I am currently using samsung galaxy s duos 2(gt-s7582)
first i rooted my device with i root and then tried to install custom rom..though there was not a single custom rom developed for this device.
so i tried to install unsupported roms from miui..after fixing some error issues finally it installed correctly..but stuck in boot loop..
at the begining i restored the back up stock rom using cwm recovery..then again tried to install those roms..meanwhile i formated system folder after that I am facing failure to mount efs and also facing boot loop while flashing stock rom or custom rom.also tried to fix bootloop using adb..but could not get into adb shell in boot loop situation..please help me to get out of the situation..
thank you.
Hi,
Sounds like a bit of a mess now. I hope the miui roms you flashed were made for your exact device, or you could have real troubles. Though it doesn't sound like your bricked yet.
You'll need to try flashing your stock firmware again to hopefully get up and running. I can't find anything on XDA for your firmware... But this thread has some pre-rooted stock firmware and flashing instructions,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2594957
You could look for your firmware at the sammobile website and start at step 5 in the thread above. It's the same procedure, but using the firmware from sammobile instead.
You can ask for help in the first thread above.... But if that doesn't help, you'll need to ask for help here,

Good luck!

[Completed] [Q] Accidently deleted system file ( Not sure)

hi
i have recently rooted my phone Samsung galaxy s4 (GT-I9500, android 5.0.1) using CF auto root and i think there is no custom rom or recovary.
As per thread these are installed after rooting
- SuperSU binary and APK
- Stock recovery
Today i tried to delete system apps mentioned in a thread in this forum. Now after restarting phone shows this message - " Android is upgrading " and i keep getting message saying unfortunately " ____ " app has stopped. Phone screen is blank. i can't do anything.
I think now i need to flash a new ROM using Odin. I don't have any prior experience in flashing ROM.
Can somebody help me in this.
from my limited knowledge i thin i should do following things
1)install CWM recovary first and
2) then flash a Custom Rom
Please provide a solution to my problem with link to download files
thank you

you might wanna reflash the rom. So if you want stock rom firmwire then you gotta using by odin , so search on google "galaxy s4 gtI-9500 stock rom" you will able to find the solution. Good luck

Will this solve my problem?
will it cause problems with modem, IMEA etc.?

I have the Samsung Note 4 and it is rooted with Super SU and when the OTA update came out I accidentally tried to install it and now my phone has been stuck in the reboot mode for a few hours... Help Please...
Thank you for using XDA Assist. Begining with 5.x you can't ota a rooted phone or one that has changes to the system, kernel, or recovery. The best palce to ask for help is here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/help/noob-friendly-question-t2866810 They are the experts on your device. [Completed] Nexus 4 issue

Hey guys. Newbie here. Plus I'm not an expert like you guys so don't bash me lol. So here's my issue:
I rooted my Nexus 4 with the shuame root tool and then I unrooted it back using the same tool. And when I got the 5.0.1 OTA update, i selected to install it but then it goes to the shuame recovery screen. When I select "Yes. Install this package", it reboots and doesn't get updated to Lolipop and it's still stuck on 4.4.4. Any idea on how I can get rid of the shuame recovery and get back the stock recovery? Please help. Thanks.
Plus I'm still running stock android

Hi, thanks for using XDA Assist!
You should flash a factory image. Look here:

[Completed] How to go back to stock recovery in XT1040

Hello and good evening. My problem is that i rooted my phone around 4 months ago, to do that i had to install a custom recovery, which is TRWP, can't remember the version. Thing is, that i want to get my original recovery, so i can recieve the OTA for 5.1. I dowloaded some files from this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/4g-development/xt1039-moto-g-4g-stock-firmware-kxb21-t2805619 i got the brazilian firmware which is the one that is supossed to work with my phone. But in the files i see a recovery one, so my question is, should i follow the steps on the tutorial or i can flash just the recovery over the TRWP ? Thanks for your responses.

Flashing the complete stock firmware will overwrite your custom recovery with the stock one.
But you can also flash the stock recovery separately afterwards.
I know that Chainfire has stock recovery in his CF-AutoRoot files which will also replace the current recovery with the stock recovery.
Here is the CF-AutoRoot thread for your device: [KitKat] [Lollipop] Root XT1039/XT1040 CF-Auto-Root Peregrine By Chainfire by TheFixItMan.
If you need further help for your device, please register on xda and ask in the Moto G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum.
Good luck !
