Version MCU: MTCD_KLG_1.92a_1 oct 13 2016
Version android: 5.1.1

i managed to boot into recovery this way:
- press and hold power and reset together for about 10 sec.
- release reset while still holding power
- release power after about 5 sec.
- after releasing power quickly press the power button again multiple times until the device boots up. It should direct boot into recovery mode
hope this works for you

Confirmed working on another KGL unit, thx
Not sure for KGL, but if it's a touch-only unit (no physical buttons) like my HA, it has a reset button on the front. Hold that in with a paper clip or whatever until all the touch-button LEDs flash a couple of times, then release it and press it in once more, just a press and not a hold. Not sure if your head unit has physical buttons though.
My Head Unit is brand A-Sure KM8W7 please help me access Recovery Mode.
Thank and best regards

Normally when you boot up your phone you press the power button for 2-4 seconds But no on mine
i hold the power button of 2-4 seconds - Doesnt Boot up
i hold the power button and the LED's in the touchscreen controls flash 16 times then stop - still no boot
i hold the power button and the LED's in the touchscreen controls flash 16 times then stop i release the power button and press it again it then finally boots - Boots up
I Have tried with and without fast boot no difference
I Have Root,S-OFF,Custom Recovery And CID HTC_001
i dont mind if i have to use fast boot as quick boot (app) can boot me into boot loader recovery etc..
Hold down the POWER key until the keys flash, and let go once they stop. Hold down the volume down key, and run the appropriate RUU for your device in fastboot USB mode.
Hello I have a new problem now and I need help,
My first problem was trying to reformat one of my SD Cards because it was corrupt so I Rooted my device but now whenever I start my device it goes to the screen where I can to slide to unlock but the Touch Pad is just not working.
I tried holding both volume buttons to try and go in recovery mode but how does it work ?
My Tablet is an unknown model no brand running 4.0.4.
I think I need to do a factory reset but I don't know how.
Any help is appreciated.
1. Shutdwon your device.
2. Hold volume up + volume down + power button until your device boots into recovery menu.
3. choose wipe data/factory reset.
Hope it works :good:

I have been trying that but it wont work, do I have to hold it for like 30 seconds or 5 minutes ?
And btw if I do get into recovery mode how do I click enter (I was there before but I couldn't select things since I only have Power button and volume buttons)
You navigate with volume up and volume down and select with the power button once you are in recovery mode.
Try holding volume up and volume down at the same time and press the power button to get into recovery mode. Or try just holding volume up and then press the power button.

I tried every possibility, I don't think I can go into recovery mode. Is there a way to fix it if I connect to my computer or something ? I can turn on the Tablet and plug it into my PC but I just need a way to do a factory reset or reformat or w/e to remove everything.
You can access recovery with adb http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1853159. Just follow the instruction!
how to make hard reset on lg g pro 2?
Turn off your phone; if you can’t do it as usual, then press power button for about 15 seconds.
After shutting down your device, press volume down button and power button together and at the same time until the LG logo appears on the screen.
When the LG logo is displayed, let go of the power button, but keep pressing the volume down key.
Now press once more power button.
Once you do that, on your LG G Pro 2 the factory reset menu will be displayed.
Press power button in order to agree and wait while the hard reset is being completed.
Then, if you want you can enter recovery mode for clearing cache and for performing other operations.
Go back to Android OS by selecting „reboot system now”.

I've tried this myself too, but it booted the phone in Safe Mode and after that won't turn on.
The phone is on stock rom and is the D83810f 16 GB version. After I took out and reinserted the battery again, the phone started normaly.

Turn off the LG G PRO 2 (F350 / D837 / D838)
Make sure the battery LG G PRO 2 (F350 / D837 / D838) already full or more than 50%
Press together and hold the Power Button + Volume Down Button
If the Logo appear, then release all button, after that continue with press again Volume Up Button + Volume Down Button together then we are already at Recovery mode
Choose wipe data/factory reset using Volume Button, and press Power Button to Enter or OK
The LG G PRO 2 (F350 / D837 / D838) will continue master reset, wait for several minutes until the the phone start like new again.

BUT, instead of restarting, it takes me to philz touch recovery that I had installed after rooting. THen when I restart from there, it goes into the LG splansh screen and stays there forever. Can anyone help me with this?
Also, Philz touch recovey asks me to fix root before restarting. Is is necessary? I think selecting that option is causing the soft-brick.
Anybody have a clue?
You better keep a copy of workable ROM in your root directory, so that you can flash anytime to rescue your phone.

Hi!
I’ve ran into a weird scenario. I have the Galaxy S6 G920V, I received the official 6.0.1 update, upon installing it my phone entered a boot loop.
I can reach the download menu (home + power + volume down), I also can reach the Maintenance Boot Mode menu (Holding the power button + volume down), but I can’t reach the recovery mode (home + power + volume up).
Any idea?
Thanks in advance!
Hey did you ever get this figured out? I have the same problem!!

Just in case you missed something it takes a while to load the recovery menu. So I FIRST press and hold the Volume Up and Home Key and then hold the power button for 20 seconds and then you will see the Samsung logo and it will say its installing some update and then it says failed and it goes to the recovery menu. So it take about two to three minutes.
I have the same problem. I did a erase and reset in the recovery menu, factory reset in the maintenance menu but it did not help. My phone continues to go to the boot loop. It happen a few days after the new Android update. I am scared to load the Verizon stock using ODIN because my phone is still covered under warranty and I dont want to even take a 1% chance of voiding the warranty

Use Odin. It should not void warranty. I have never had a warranty issue with Odin over the last few phones.
After flashing Android 10 Full firmware from [ZS630KL][WW] FOTA update links (new update 3 Nov 2019)
I can't boot into the system, even fastboot mode! now my phone just keeps reboot itself(stuck at "Powered by Android"), I had tried to shut it down(by pressing power + vol down) and nothing happens.:crying:
Any ideas? Is this a fixable situation or a main board changing situation?
Rooted (warranty voided)
Flash it in TWRP (I know I shouldn't, but fota not working at all )
If warranty void, i think there's nothing that can be done. My brother's device is Asus 6z(Indian version), which has got a Motherboard Malfunction(A quick google search based on the symptoms gave this result). However, you can get into fastboot mode by Holding Power button and Volume down together, release both when the Asus logo disappears. Then press and hold Volume UP button.

I tired but nothing happen
do you get any response to fastboot? maybe its already there.
Try pwr then vol-up, vol-up then pwr, pwr-vol-down... and hold pwr for half a minute or so. I was able to get mine back into fastboot by using one of these combinations
