Galaxy S6 G920V Unable to boot into recovery mode - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S6

Hi!
I’ve ran into a weird scenario. I have the Galaxy S6 G920V, I received the official 6.0.1 update, upon installing it my phone entered a boot loop.
I can reach the download menu (home + power + volume down), I also can reach the Maintenance Boot Mode menu (Holding the power button + volume down), but I can’t reach the recovery mode (home + power + volume up).
Any idea?
Thanks in advance!

Hey did you ever get this figured out? I have the same problem!!

Just in case you missed something it takes a while to load the recovery menu. So I FIRST press and hold the Volume Up and Home Key and then hold the power button for 20 seconds and then you will see the Samsung logo and it will say its installing some update and then it says failed and it goes to the recovery menu. So it take about two to three minutes.
I have the same problem. I did a erase and reset in the recovery menu, factory reset in the maintenance menu but it did not help. My phone continues to go to the boot loop. It happen a few days after the new Android update. I am scared to load the Verizon stock using ODIN because my phone is still covered under warranty and I dont want to even take a 1% chance of voiding the warranty

Use Odin. It should not void warranty. I have never had a warranty issue with Odin over the last few phones.

Phone stuck in bootloop, can't boot into fastboot or recovery, Please help

After trying to flash a TBO calendar/calculator inverted app I rebooted from recovery only to now be stuck in a bootloop. The only thing the phone will do is begin to reboot itself if I press all three buttons to "hard restart". (power+vol up+vol dwn). Tried using adb/fastboot to reboot into recovery or bootloader but I don't think that the phone is far enough into the boot process to be recognized by adb/fastboot because typing adb reboot-bootloader just returns "waiting on devices". I have also tried to use power+ vol dwn combo to reboot to bootloader. I have noticed that this only works for stock and other certain ROM's. It's a hit and miss as to why this occurs.
So right now I am stuck in a perpetual bootloop with no way to get to recovery or bootloader. I don't know of any other way of getting into recovery to restore a nanroid. Any one have a good suggestion? Please!
The combination of power + volume up (for like 10 or so seconds) will force a reboot. As SOON as it reboots you just need to hold volume down to get into bootloader.

I'm having the same exact problem, I figured out the volume up + power, turns the phone back on in a hardboot. But, exactly how long do you need to hold the volume down button for once it's rebooting?? I just got a replacement phone on 9/24, my previous phone had no problem with this & had the option of fast boot in the settings. Just rebooting my phone takes FOREVER to turn on (or so it seems in comparison). Any idea how or why this is now? Is it due to an update, can I uninstall the update to go back to a fast start setting?? Thanks!!

When you hold the volume down button are you also holding the power button? You need to use volume up + power to restart. Then, when it restarts, immediately hold volume down without letting up on the power button. Needs to be volume down + power to boot into hboot. As for now long do you hold it, until it boots to hboot.
Thanks for the info...
Thanks for more details I'm pretty sure I did let up on the power button thinking it was keeping it from loading. I'll try this out now!!!

Bricked S7! Stuck on logo, please help

Hi All,
I recently updated my phone's BL and CP using Odin since I wanted to update my version of Superman rom to the latest. I think I might have done it in the wrong order though? (flashed bootloader before attempting to update firmware)
My phone is now stuck on the Samsung logo with the "Recovery is not seaandroid enforcing" at the top. I can get it to restart by holding the Vol Down + Power button but can't get it into Recovery / Download Mode it just keeps rebooting into the samsung logo!! I tried a quick Vol Down + Power followed by Vol Down + Power + Home but it doesn't work and keeps going back to the samsung logo
Is there any other way I can get this to boot into download mode so that I can flash an older version of the bootloader using odin?

Press (Vol up + Vol down + Power button) and when screen goes off quickly press (Vol down + Home button + Power button). Repeat the process until you see the green screen! It worked for me.

One hour later I got this damn thing into Download Mode!! Phew...
I just kept the Vol Down + Power + Home buttons pressed while it kept rebooting itself (I was letting go of the buttons and pressing them again when I saw the screen turn off which wasn't working)
Not sure why the latest BL bricked my phone?! I've flashed one version before and it's now working again.

If you are using PH* bootloader and trying to root the system, you should only use TWRP 3.0.2.3 and best choice would be SuperSU 2.76.. Glad to hear it booted up at last!
So far I've yet to see someone truly brick an S7 since you'd need to replace the bootloader and it wont even flash a new bootloader until it's fully transfered and verified. So no worries there should always be a way out.
you can always go back to stock via Smartswitch and Rescue option.... all you need is your modelnumber and S/N.....
Phew, just went through the same problem, thanks a lot for help, guys!

(HELP) Stuck in Boot Loop, Can't access factory or recovery mode

I tried rooting Cloudfone ThrillHD (android 6.0) via manual, when process was done. My device is now stuck in this endless boot loop, i tried pressing key combinations simultaneously (power + volume up & down), it shows 2 options (factory = volume down and recovery mode = volume up) and the device would stuck in this state, but when i press any volume keys the boot loop starts.
Is there anything I could from this?
any help would be very very appreciated.
this may sound unrelated.
take out the SD card and try again.

i already did that, it is still in boot loop.
does taking out the battery, putting it back, holding volume down button before pressing power button (while holding down volume down) works? i faced a similar experience with my note 3 back then when i'm rooting. mine worked. hope your phone responds the same as well.
stuck in boot always, click the recovery mode then black no working, connecting pc only charging...that's my q
Anyone got links to the original firmware KD7-H6211FQRSTU-Q-GL-200429V276?

GT-P5110 unable to reboot directly to recovery after twrp installation

full stock, unrooted, GT-P5110
... connect to odin (3.12 PC)-> uncheck auto reboot -> install twrp -> PASS -> unplug cable from usb
but all I seem to be able to do is reboot into system.
I :-
hold power button for 1 sec, 2 secs, 3 sec.... trying to just turn it off (instead of reboot)
hold vol down + power button,
hold power button + tap volume down,
just hold vol down,
tap power button (does nothing), only long press restarts.
hold power button till screen goes black and then hold vol down + tap pwr button
hold power button till screen goes black and then hold vol down + hold pwr button
hold power button till screen goes black and then hold vol down on its own
search forum
pull hair out
type this
each time reinstalling twrp
any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
thanks
To reboot to recovery you need to hold volume UP + power.

well that's strange, as, on my device, from off:
Volume UP + power takes me to download mode... I have done this several times and it asks me to confirm by then pressing down.
AND, from off
Volume DOWN + power takes me to recovery.
and doing a search, via google and xda all agree with me.
.. but thanks
I never said I couldn't get into recovery... I cannot get from odin into recovery without it first rebooting and therefore wiping my flash.
edit: So I tried it anyway, and got back into download mode, which in a way is kinda good news as, my logic, if I can get back into download mode from a reboot then I should be able to get into recovery from a reboot.
Same same but slightly different

I am having the exact same problems and tried exactly the same things. I am just not able to install twrp because of this. ( I read that it overwrites the recovery with the stock one when you are not going straight into recovery mode after installation) I am stuck at the “Samsung Galaxy note 10.1” screen if try to go straight into recovery.
What is strange though is that with my device: VOLDown (towards the power button) + Power button takes me to download mode and the other combination supposedly to the recovery mode.
This is so frustrating. Done this so many times with other devices but this one just does not give up… I just want to get rid of all bloatware and other crap…..

I've given up, for now, tried every combination I could think... I have a sneaky feeling it must be rooted first. It is the only thing I haven't tried doing.
I am now trying to root it first

I am currently doing just that! Using the files from autoroot . chainfire . eu (can not post links yet haha) . I will let you know how it went!
UPDATE:
It worked! I rooted my device first. After that I flashed my recovery via the TWRP app. I also must say that my device is the GT-N8010 (p4notewifixx). I got confused of all the different models. Still I think it will work with your model aswell! Good luck!

Attempted to flash Android 10, I think I just brick my phone permanently.

After flashing Android 10 Full firmware from [ZS630KL][WW] FOTA update links (new update 3 Nov 2019)
I can't boot into the system, even fastboot mode! now my phone just keeps reboot itself(stuck at "Powered by Android"), I had tried to shut it down(by pressing power + vol down) and nothing happens.:crying:
Any ideas? Is this a fixable situation or a main board changing situation?
Rooted (warranty voided)
Flash it in TWRP (I know I shouldn't, but fota not working at all )
If warranty void, i think there's nothing that can be done. My brother's device is Asus 6z(Indian version), which has got a Motherboard Malfunction(A quick google search based on the symptoms gave this result). However, you can get into fastboot mode by Holding Power button and Volume down together, release both when the Asus logo disappears. Then press and hold Volume UP button.

I tired but nothing happen
do you get any response to fastboot? maybe its already there.
Try pwr then vol-up, vol-up then pwr, pwr-vol-down... and hold pwr for half a minute or so. I was able to get mine back into fastboot by using one of these combinations
