Custom kernels provide more features than stock kernel, also unlock the entire capabilities of the device.
Features like CPU hotplug, CPU min and max frequency, CPU overclocking double tap to wake, etc are introduced in custom kernels. Other kernels provide even more new features. So, trying them yourselves is the best answer.

Eh, no. I don't think you can change the boot logo. But as far as boot animation goes, even stock MiUi has that feature. To use it follow these steps:
1. Go to themes
2. Customize theme
3. Boot Animation
4. Select your favourite boot animation and tap apply changes.
5. Voila! Boot animation changed!

Caused by OPEN camera HAL...
Same hal = same quality with a different camera app ...

Not the boot animation
Just flash any of bootanimation that will replace or overwrite at /system/media/bootanimation .-.
Aicp have OMS .. so you can use oms theme to change the bootanimation

I don't think stock miui has any option for changing bootanimation.
Did they add this in marshmallow miui? Don't know dude....I haven't use miui long long before ago.Also I know that miui(LP) hasn't any option for changing boot animation

I quoted his post containing two questions, one of them was about the boot logo. I didn't know about the boot logo, so I told him about the boot animations in case he didn't know. And yes, I did see he was asking about custom ROMs. Read my quote correctly. I said, 'Even MiUi has that feature'. And what do you mean by 'You give false infos'?
About the off-topic thing, this is what we call as off-topic.

Yes, I am myself using MiUi 8.0.2.0 Lollipop Global Stable ROM. I'll repeat the process with more detail.
1. Go to themes
2. Download the theme CogaV8 (that's what I use, you can use some different too).
3. Go to customize, if there is not a dedicated button for that, go to theme settings->customize theme
4. Click boot animation (second last option) and select CogaV8.
5. Reboot to see changes.

Yes, you can port other cameras too. I would recommend you to make a flashable camera zip of your own. Here's a guide on how to do that.

I think latest miui cam app can't be ported because they stopped releasing app source code.May be I am wrong.

As said by Faizauthar, all camera apps will have same quality. Better to say lesser than snapdragon camera as it offers Wavelet Denoise feature.
But I found an exception(not exactly). You can try Snap HDR camera app from playstore .LINK
This app has the denoise feature. I use it for more settings. Also an added bonus is the gallery app it comes with. I have experienced issues with gallery app in nougat. This seems like two good things in one package

The moto g4 camera also have denoise feature in advanced settings plus it also take pics at slightly lower shutter speed. So if you have steady hands you will get better picture with moto cam
I'm rooted and running CM14 with a pin code as my security. Is it possible to remove the "power off" option from the lock screen when the power button is held down? If I lose my phone I don't want anyone able to power down my Mi4i.

Here's a quick zip file I made for converting your Android smartphone into OnePlus One.
Step 1. You will need the latest CM11 ROM installed (I recommend either Snapshot M9 or M8).
Step 2. Flash the HighOnAndroid OnePlus One Conversion Kit zip file in CWM or TWRP Recovery:

Step 3. Once booted, just change theme to Hexo theme. That's it!
This comes with the OnePlus One lockscreen, camera, fully-working AudioFX app, Screencast, and OnePlus One Hexo theme.

It's not just theme, it's camera, gallery, wallpapers, lockscreen, AudioFX, Screencast, and the theme can be replaced, but a removal tool will be out soon as @zedomax is working on it...

Doesn't work. Flashed HighOnAndroid.comOnePlusOneConvert-V1.2.zip for CM 11 Snapshot 9 on Nexus 4. The phone is stucked in bootscreen with Google logo...

Can the lockscreen be customized? I am already using the Lockscreen on my Find 5, but I can't change it's color. I like the Lockscreen, the Camera and the Gallery, but I want to keep the DSP-Manager, so I don't see a reason to flash the ZIP.
Another suggestion: Why don't you include the OPO-Gallery? I think it's nice.

Yeah, it should be working. But there is no warranty for that, you should make a nandroid Backup in case your device gets stuck in a bootloop.
On Galaxy S+ if the phone locks you can't unlock it. The screen turn off and then only when you hit the bottom buttons they light up and the phone vibrates, I can't unlock it.

So I give you this, UNIVERSAL for MOST devices Aroma installer to give users the option for different choices!
This zip will work for MOST device running ANY Rom with ANY version Android 5.0+!
How to use the ozop-restore.zip to revert/recovery quickly without the need to restore or reinstall the whole Rom:
And just to be safe, I have included in my scripts and files a method that will create a flashable restore zip of your files before the mods does its thing!
The restore zip will be inside the new "ozop" folder that has been created and the zip is named "ozop-restore.zip"
If something doesn't play nice, just flash the zip and you'll be back to the way it was before you flashed the mod
NOTE: the script will delete any existing restore zips EVERY TIME you flash a new option, meaning that if you flash the mod again, your original system files will be replace with the file you flash previously!
If you want to have a permanent back up of the original file, you will need to rename the zip inside the ozop folder to whatever, just can't have the same name or it gets replaces everything you flash the mod

Of course there are many way to properly report bugs and ALL of these ways have one thing in common, THEY ALL REQUIRE VERY DETAILED NOTES of the issue!
I'm moy goimg to go deep into how detailed you could get because lets face it, most people that report improperly are the ones who don't read and probably are going to read this! HaHaHa...
To get support from me I only ask for some simple things
1. What device, and rom you are running
2. What is the issue (no boot, fc everywhere, fc only certain app etc...)
3. Which option did you select
4. Did you get the install log
5. Did you use the restore.zip option to get back running
6. Do other choices share the same effect
That looks like a lot, but it really is the minimum amout of info need to troubleshoot!
Provide me that and I'll do my best to fix things and make this fun for everyone.
If you post things like
"Doesn't work", "bootloop" or anyone other similar post that have no value and help development is no way, actually these kinds of post only put development behind amd slow progress die the fact that anyone who cam help has to waste their time reading it!
If these kind of post ever come up, its best to ignore the lazy person and not clog the thread with flaming replies as that too slows development!
Anyway, I don't expect there to be many if any bugs! Been tested by myself and confirmed with users of this device!

I appreciate your feedback, but please refer to the OP section for "properly reporting bugs".
There is some useful info with telling me the rom, but I would like to know as mych as possbile.
Which options did you select
Did you get rhe install log and so on.
There can't ever be to much info when trying to troubleshoot!
Also, did the "ozop_restore.zip" work to get you back running quickly?
Please tell me you read the sections marked with bold red text for using the restore.zip?
Anyways, I would like to assist more, but need more info.

Not available at the moment, it is only available for Google Pixel because it is the only device that has " SystemUiGoogle" app. And for our P2 we don't have stable oreo release yet [Alpha]. you can try shazam until you get it.

not sure with the Stock theme engine themes, I just ported cyanogen theme engine for stock Rom and it is having few bugs - which means you can try substratum themes in stock rom without brick.
or you can try xposed module
http://repo.xposed.info/module/com.haiduongbk.hkthememanager
activate the module and install the required theme, finally apply..

performance and battery life is far better than any other eui and other custom rom
i got this link in a leeco le2 whatsapp group.
i m using it since last 3 days , its just awesome

Final question, I flashed this ROM and it was very smooth but I decided to go back to stock but the new boot screen (with Italian colour scheme) is not going away, any tips?

I'm not maintainer or developer by any means, just want to keep this great rom up to date with newest security patch. I'm aware that this rom has already been posted on this forum and I'm not quite sure if it is ok to post it again or if I need any permissions etc. Any help is appreciated.

Unfortunately it doesn't have built-in theme engine, but supports substratum (using Default Dark Theme from playstore). I guess there shouldn't be any problem with flashing it over Official LOS, but I always prefer clean flash.

Battery seems good to me, atleast 1.5h of SOT per 10%. Can't tell how it will behave with power users, but with light use you can easily go trough 4 days without charging.
