No one's sure about that yet, we just have to wait for the devs to port their kernels with the new source.

Please tell me that you are joking. IT'S NOT SONY MAKING THIS TYPE OF SECURITY ISSUE! IT'S YOUR NETWORK OPERATOR FAULT!
SONY EVEN HELP YOU UNLOCK YOUR BOOTLOADER!...
Please read some information before you post. I have unbranded UK Generic Xperia L and I can unlock bootloader.
Some people in Poland who are with Orange cannot but with other operators they can. Before you buy some phone make a research.

Why ? Because you can't have a stupid CWM on LB... You can install C'n'T on locked bootloader.
C'mon guys, sell your xl's and blame Sony for something he didn't do. Great idea.

I tried searching too on the net about this, haven't read anything yet.
Well, this phone is still pretty new. With the bootloader unlocked, this should be possible. Heck, I multi-boot on my S4 and the bootloader is locked.
It'd be nice to have a Sense ROM in one port, AOSP in another.

Unlocking bootloader takes several weeks for unlock code.
I'd look for other phone then.

you have to unlock bootloader and root, if you brick anything members will help you, you don't have to worry
With your usage requirements, you can get what you need without rooting stuff.

so is it really a good phone
i saw alot of reviews for it
and nearly everyone in my country want to sell me Huawei
but i hate it
i'm nearly Sony Nazi
should i go for Xperia Z5 or Xperia X ?
My father have a huawei g play mini (chc-u01) and no custom roms are available. I heard that the honor 4c mount the same hardware (cpu, ram, gpu, motherboard)... Avery single thing is the same. Now: can I install lineage os 14 for 4c in the g play mini chc-u01? I think yes but since the phone is not mine I don't want to risk too much... Even because I don't know is there is a tool for pc like odin or flashtool for xperia devices
There are many devices which are very similar but can't use the same rom. I would suggest to not do it since we are not sure.
