[Completed] Bypass the PIN check of Samsung Galaxy S3 without root - XDA Assist

December 24, 2016
Hi
I read the following but can't reply so I create a topic here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2620456&nocache=1
I have an old Samsung S3 smartphone and I don't remember the PIN. The charging micro USB port no longer works.
I won't use this smartphone because I have a brand new and I do not wish to have it repaired.
The battery is charged to 100%.
I would like to access one last time to recover my data and see all the applications that I used.
My smartphone is not "Root" and I don't want "Root" it.
Can I use one of the methods that you presented here without that I lose my data and my applications?
I have no more access to my Google account or my Samsung account. In fact, I keep my passwords on a USB key and I lost the key.
Method 7 looks nice, but does it have a "Root" smartphone to use it?
Thank you and Happy Christmas !

Hi there,
Try this method, where you can post/ask about that.

[Q] Retrieve data from a locked Android device?

So my grandma found a Samsung Galaxy Young (GT-S6310N) on a middle of a path in the woods, and she took it home.
She showed it to me and after powering it on because the battery has died I was greeted with a password prompt without surprise.
I've booted the recovery mode to see if this device supports ADB, which is the case. Now I want to remove the password so I can find a phone number of the owner's relatives because the local authorities in the Netherlands certainly won't be able to do a lot to find the rightful owner of this phone.
So now I want to ask, is there a way to use ADB and remove the password WITHOUT damaging the data?
Hopefully I'm not posting a very common question; I'm in a bit of a hurry as I type this.
Thanks for reading.
Sir,
Please wait until mods will move this thread to the device specific forum for more relevant answers.

Good luck
Wasnt there a sim card in the phone. Insert that card in other phone maybe maybe it Will have some numbers stored in it

Broken Screen Samsung S6 - Access files

My personal S6 Samsung broke the screen, that is, all black I can not do anything!
And you need a password to unlock.
What I wanted was to have some way for me to unlock it, I've tried with Smart Switch and Kies, and in them I can not put the password on the PC to unlock the phone, and my USB is not in debugging.
And now guys? already researched in all over the place and found the solution.
The goal is to access the files on it, I do not care about the device.
Hugs and please help me.:crying:
*Sorry my english
Method 1: Recover the files with your Samsung account
This Method will work Only if you used to have Samsung account on your smartphone, you can check if your Samsung account is registered or not here.
1. Go onto the Samsung website.
2. Click the Find my phone button.
3. Login Using your Samsung Account you used to have on your smartphone.
4. All the Options regarding using your smartphone remotely will be available on the screen.
5. There will be an option on the left hand side of the screen to unlock your screen remotely.
6. Connect with your USB Cable and KIES will allow you access to your files.
Method 2: Recover Data with the mother board on your phone
This Method is a bit Technical but it works 100% guaranteed, For this Method you need to have another Smartphone like yours but with working screen(e.g If you own S6, You Need to Borrow A friend’s S6)
Your data is saved on the motherboard, so you can just put it in another phone and back up from there.
Here are detailed steps:
All you need to do is to be careful while following the steps mentioned below as to not damage the working device!
1) Take out the tiny screws from the back of phones (~10 in each).
2) Remove the plastic cover that is shielding the motherboard.
3) Unclip the display cable from both phones.
If the two methods above isn't piratical for you I suggest you to replace the screen. Either have some one repair or you can repair it yourself. For Samsung s6 screen replacement you can check out www.hcqs.com.cn. For repair instructions you can search on YouTube.

I have another solution that I used to unlock my phone to recover the pictures in my Galaxy S6.
For this method you will have to have following things
OTG Cable
USB Keyboard or Mouse.
Connect mouse to your phone using OTG cable. Now there will be a pointer on screen of your broken S6.
Next step is to enter the password without having any visual aid.
There are number of ways from which you can do that. But it is hard task and you will need alot of practice.
I used the method in which you have to draw pattern on a paper while moving mouse on working phone.
Update: See full instructions in this guide: https://itechify.com/2015/05/24/how-to-recover-data-from-galaxy-s6-broken-screen/
After you have practiced using mouse without any visual aid. Next thing is to unlock your phone by entering passcode.
Once you have entered the password. Remove OTG and replace it with USB data transfer cable.
And then transfer your data.
Best of luck.

Cant seem to bypass FRP on Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge no matter what I try

I purchased a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge from a guy off ebay with smashed the screen for a cheap price and recently took it to my local Official Samsung repair shop who repaired it for a reasonable price. I turned the phone on and it had all of the other guys personal stuff on the phone and he had a screen lock on there that I didn't know how to unlock so I did a factory reset in recovery without realising about FRP. When the phone rebooted I get the google screen asking me for the original google account credentials. I have tried contacting him and getting no joy. I have tried all of the methods in youtube but as the phone has the December 2016 security update none of them seem to work. When I plug the phone into my PC windows just says the USB device has malfunctioned and does not connect. I have installed the full Samsung USB drivers but the PC still doesn't recognise it. Could the fact it is not recognised be due to the google frp or could it be to do with the fact the phone could still be damaged from when it was dropped. Im not fussed about the USB port in normal use but it appears the only method to bypass the FRP is via the USB and using one of those methods. Can anyone help please?
I had the same problem and from my understanding all the methods are blocked now I'm trying to find out if theres a way that i just havent figured out yet i've book marked your question and will keep checking back to see if you have had any help
I know it is a tricky subject as I could be in possession of a stolen phone in which case I am rightly being locked out of it but I have the receipt to prove I have purchased it which I am willing to show to anybody who might know a way around it.
Have you tried putting it in download mode then using emergency recovery on Smart Switch?
Yes tried that earlier. Smart Switch doesn't recognise it. Just stays on the screen telling me to connect the phone even though I already have. When I plug the phone into the laptop it says the USB device (my phone) has malfunctioned and Windows doesn't recognise it. I have tried ODIN and that doesn't recognise the phone either as it isn't being given a COM number by Windows. Guess I will have to take it back to the Samsung Support Centre as I paid them to get the phone working and he said the price quoted was to get it fully working. If the USB isn't working then they can repair it!

I've just unlocked a S5 Neo.
I flashed the very first firmware version (5.1.1)
FRP lock still there BUT I could now use the side sync hack or samsung unlock APK on OTG cable.
Then flashed the latest 6.0.1 version
Did you manage to unlock it?
I have the same problem
Any good current methods for this
uninstall all drivers related and kies. Then install kies and needed drivers. See if you can connect via download mode now.

Have a look at my post here... How To Reset FRP (Nearly All Fones From Android 6.x.x to 7.x.x, No Trips, Flash counter inciment, Knox, Still Mode = Official, Warenty 0 (0x0000) (Still working 16 June 2017)
You see, im not all that good with programming APK files, Dalvik VM, Obex, ect, but Linux I'm your man so i figured where is the email/pass info held and is there a switch to keep it on off, ends up one of the easiest hacks i've ever done, no complicates hashed/salted double coded switch, or hard wired switch,
just a very small partition that when or if you have any google account info stored in it you get locked out till you enter the exact same info, so i just dd,d the partition after taking a backup of course lol (; then when the fone booted to download mode i noted FRP=OFF so i flashed the stock bootloader to let the fone boot all the way to video mode and YES!!! it thought it was a new fone never been used before then i check the switches/trips KNOX , device status = official, to test i just made a new google account on the spot on the phone filled all the [email protected] in then voila its working, calls, all menu items ok, official all knox fine, just the way it was when i first got it, except obviously I've upgraded to v7, hopefully this works for you, please dont use or talk about illegall activity with this, or using it for profit, it's agift I gave you's for free so i want it to stay that way, all i want is a thanks, and a beer, lol, no but seriously, when the guy that invented the hammer to ease the effort of pussing nails into wood with you hands, never got hassle about murders with them, tha fact the could be used to rob banks, rob people, damage things, smash up shops, etc so... think about it, all i done was make a tool to help people too. theres litteraly millions of exploits, including android based ones out there just now check, https://www.exploit-db.com/ , OWASP_Vulnerable_Web_Applications_Directory_Project , http://www.exploit-db.com/ , http://www.blackploit.com/ , packetstorm cve etc etc. #
This is a tool to help people how when they first got there fone, and just filled in any old stuff to get into the fun part of the fone. ie "you cannot use [email protected],com as it already in use how about [email protected],com then the password, use one lower case, one higher case, one number , one symbol, more than 12 letters but less than 20, don't use anything you talk about, your name dob etc etc etc , so most people just pick the random one google pumps out and tries random passwords till one goes through, "I've seen this done a few times with my own eyes and had to stop them and explain and this was b4 FRP" Also if you change one letter in your google password, Factory reset your fone, your locked out if the fone never got the change in time, try it, Anyways if people use this for illegal purposes its there evilness there using not mine, there just using my tool as well as the thousand of others in the arsonry, even the OS check out "kali linux OS", "Parrot OS" "Blackbuntu OS"," BlackArch Linux" Also say you code a program to check hashes at a faster rate to speed up logins etc, a hacker will use it to check stolen passwd lists faster, if a faster CPU is made, the first thing a hacker thinks of is how many words/letters it can do a second so they can bruteforce the wifi key of the local bank, hospital etc.... so?
tried EVERYTHING ....
I have the USCellular G935R4 .... S#iiiit , like I've even gotten to the actual HOMESCREEN , but no matter what I do it wont do it.. i can access just about any app and the settings accurately every single time within seconds-mins, even tried flashing it, even had FULL access and control over it using sidesync, and i tried rooting it from oneclickroot on pc but thennnn knox trips and won't let me enable developer options.... And got the error with "sign in using email and password" on quick shortcut maker , PLUS tried everything to fix the error by reinstalling google account manager , etc ...
But NOTHING ...
If ANYONE has any idea how to successfully do get into it , Pplleasee let me know!
???
Seriously ,
I swear , I'll even pay someone ...
Try flashing the phone to the latest MM via odin and try bypassing. I tried it on my G** da** S6 with may 2017 patch. Dowgraded into latest MM and tried different bypass and it worked.
any help in 2020

[Help] Samsung Galaxy S7(SM-G930V) Data Recovery without USB debugging

Hello. My mother has recently found her old Samsung Galaxy S7 and doesn't remember the pin. She has some very important photos (Baby Pictures, ETC) on the phone and needs to get them somehow. She has never turned on any development options or USB Debugging. I don't really know what else to post here because this is my first post. I was told by a friend that this forum could help

The only way to unlock without wiping data is to use Android Device Manager but you have to know the Google account and password the phone was using.
You can use Google DM on a pc to do this. Your phone must be charged and turned on with an active SIM.
If this does not work, a Samsung repair centre can unlock the device if you have proof of purchase. There is no way to unlock AND save your data if both the methods are not available to you.
You can as a last resort reset the device to use again but all data will be lost.
Also things to check first.
1. Often pictures are stored on the SD card in the phone, remove the card put it into an sd adapter or another phone and see if the pictures are stored there in the DCIM folder
2. Pin numbers are often dates of birthdays or bank card pin numbers etc ask your mum if this is the case it might jog her memory.

Question Unlocking Galaxy Flip 4

Hello all,
I know already that this might not be possible but I have to ask anyways. My father recently passed away unexpectedly and he has just recently bought a galaxy flip 4 (before he had a galaxy S21).
Now he still has some photos on there he recently took (Google backup is off).
I already tried unlocking the phone via Samsung find my phone but I always get the message, that the function is not enabled in the phone.
Same goes for the S21 which I also can not unlock.
The time between unlocks is already at 48h because I've tried all the numbers I could find around the house.
Is there a possibility of either:
1. Unlock the device by rooting or patching a file in recovery mode or someway else?
2. Is it possible to enable the unlock function for find my phone somehow?
3. Is it possible to reset the counter for failed unlock attempts? Because I have the feeling it has no upper limit and will just double in time forever... I may find the correct pin eventually but I need more tries.
If any of the above is possible for the S21 then this would work too because he just switched phone 2 days before he passed and the files are still pretty much identical.
If you can help and need proof of possession or anything from me to proof that this is indeed the phone of my dad please write me a pn.
I would really love to have the last pictures taken ...
I'm so sorry about your loss. I have great news! I've recently had to bypass the FRP Google lock and after many hours of research, I was able to finally find a reliable program that was free and free of viruses. I can confirm it works on the Flip4 because that's the phone I used it on. https://samfw.com/blog/samfw-frp-tool-1-0-remove-samsung-frp-one-click

@melymoon
I've tried this tool but I can't get into the engineering mods by entering the code into the emergency call pad.
Therefore the tool doesn't detect my phone.
It is also not recognized if I go to ADB update in the recovery menu.
How did you do it?
I got you, do you have time right now? I can work on it with you before my kid wakes up
You don't need the engineering service menu right right now, to remove the lock. I'll walk you through it.
I have a z flip 4 5g and I'm locked out of it and I cannot factory reset it and I do not have on USB debugging. Is there a way to enable USB debugging on locked z flip 4?
Can't you just factory reset it in the recovery menu?
I thought the whole idea of this post was to save the data? Everything mentioned here pretty much is gonna wipe the phone. Which leads to all that's trying to be done is bypass factory reset protection. If you have death certificate you can get Google and samsung to release the locks accordingly and it can be factory reset from the recovery menu.
From there. Frp bypass is a very gray area on xda and most people will not help.
