So, I tried rooting my SM-G935A Galaxy S7 Edge, and now it gives me a message saying something went wrong while installing the custom firmware.
I have tried everything, Odin, Keis, And smart switch. But odin always gives errors, Smart switch crashes instantly when I hit OK on the emergency firmware upgrade. Anybody have any idea how to fix it?

Hello everyone, and thanks for taking the time to attempt to help me.
Earlier today, my T-Mobile Galaxy S5 updated to 5.1.1. I searched google and came across a few links on how to root my phone (G900T) - The one I ended up using was CF-AutoRoot
I used Odin 3.07, used the tar5 file from that site above where I downloaded the root, and attempted to root the phone. Odin says everything worked as planned ''passed'' was displayed with 0 fails. I waited about 20 minutes, but my phone never rebooted, it was stuck in a boot logo loop ' 'Samsung Galaxy S5 powered by Android'' or ''T-Mobile'' was displayed.
I tried going into recovery and reseting all data / factory wipe but that didn't help, and made it even worse. Now my phone says this when I try to turn it on: ''Firmware upgrade encountered an issue, Please select recovery mode in Kies and try again''
How do I go about getting back to stock firmware , that is rootable, so I can then proceed to install CyanogenMod?
EDIT: I used Kies and was able to get back to stock firmware and the phone turns on.
Can anyone recommend a reliable root for the G900T S5?

It's good to hear that you managed to revive your phone. Many of us find it convenient to install a custom recovery such as TWRP which makes backing up and restoring, switching ROMs, and many such activities much easier. I realize i'm stupid af but here's what happened: I was trying to flash a custom rom to my SM-G920F galaxy s6 and accidentally uninstalled my OS. This morning I attempted to flash G920FXXU2POGN to my galaxy 6, I have no idea what the original software was. Everything was going fine until the last minute when hidden.img appeared in the odin log and the flash failed. My device now reads: An error has occurred while updating the device software. Use the emergency recovery function in the Smart Switch PC software. However, neither smart switch of kies 3.0 support my device!! My device is still bootable into download mode. Please please please help. I've only had this thing for a day and I've already broken it.

Hi there, you should download smart switch and use emergency firmware recovery, From there you should click 'more' then click emergency software recovery. Key in your device SM-G920F then input your serial number (Found on your device Box, remember to connect your phone on download mode) then voila, it should download and install the latest firmware for you. hope it helps!
Good morning dear. I would like to know if someone has happened that after installing any official version for S6 920F appears an error that says that the phone has stopped and starts to fail completely, without Network but if it has imei. This happens after finishing with PASS in green. I could go into download mode and update it again and give the same error. I did it again with BTU firmware it gives me the same error again. I do not know what to do. please help. SMG920F 6.0.1

Theni want to unroot it and tried with ''Samsungs Smart Switch'' to get back to the Stock ROM, then there was an error ''An Error has occurred while updating the Device Software. Use the Emergency recovery function in the smart switch pc software'', but this also doesnt work.
So i tried tu flash it manually with Odin, and the stockrom from sammobile.com but this stocks every time there at ca 5-10% and there is no error in odin, it just stuck, it looks like this since 7 hours, the download mode an the galaxy was active..
i hope you can help me.. Thanks!!!

Corrupted image when downloading try downloading a more reliable firmware to restore also may want to update Odin , Samsung is like iPhone it's hard to mess up restoring
Redownload the stock rom using SamFirm tool or updato.com. If ODIN keeps getting stuck change the USB cable. Do not use generic cables to flash roms or this will happen. Happened me twice, I changed the cable to a brand new stock one (purchased at the official service) and the problem was fixed

did not work for me so I wanted to remove the root so I used the odin
and when I was 90-99 I got a lag and I disconnected it from the usb and I received such a message :
An error has occurred while updating. Use the Emergency recovery function in the Smart Switch PC software
I tried to fix it with Odin but it does not work or does anyone have any idea?
