I have 4 Gbyte data/month on my plan.
I can assign this limit, but I cannot tell the phone when the month starts.
Did you find how to configure the starting day?
Thx
.luca
There is no way to set the starting date in the month

a few days ago I received the infamous 5% email. I am currently sitting at 4.9GB of data usage on the unlimited LTE grandfathered plan. when all of a sudden my up/down is now at 100k/100k almost symmetrical.
wanted to check with a panel of my peers. have any of you experienced this?

You may have better luck with this question in a forum for another LTE phone, or your own phone.
This Galaxy S II does not support LTE.
On my last bill I hit 5GB less than 10 days in, using a lot of Netflix. I managed to end the billing period with just over 8. My norm is 6-7. I have never been throttled, nor accused of tethering (which I don't use).

I can tell you that I'm at 26gigs for this month and I have gotten no notice from att. This is from downloading all podcasts. I'm only doing this for comparison...this obviously isn't typical usage. So now we can confirm the top 5% is a load of crap. Sounds more like they are throttling depending on what you do and not how much you do. There goes net neutrality.

In case you needed proof.

I think the OP has a GSII ****rocket.
Anyways AT&T is known for throttling LTE users for low usage.
On HSPA+ on My note, I hit 11gigs and they threatened to throttle me on Day 28 of my billing cycle. I think they just throttle based on what speed you have. F***ers

Yup. Unlimited doesn't exist anymore. When you upgrade you'll automatically be dropped down to a 2GB plan unless you specify a higher capacity.
I've heard rumors that unlimited will be back someday but Verizon has to beef up their infrastructure first. It'll be a while.

Take it from me, I never get near using my 2gb up. There is always WiFi everywhere.

We have three people on a 10GB shared plan, and we average around 6GB of use in a normal month. We love having that 4GB buffer though, because we travel every few months and always use a lot more data when we are traveling.
This is why I refuse to use my update. Last month I used 44 gb. Mostly because I tether at work the entire time. Most I've ever used was 61 gb. Not sure if I could live without unlimited.
I have unlimited data and a unlimited tether plan also not giving it up.
Id rather pay full price for a phone.

I tried emailing customer support they couldn't properly answer me. So I figured let's ask the form.
Billing cycle expires 12/21/13...
Auto renew is on...
Does my data cycle reset the 21st or the 22nd at 12am midnight.

Your plan expires at the end of the last day of your cycle which in your case being tonight? So depending on your time-zone (think they are CST) it either resets at 12am or 1am EST which would then be the 22.

That's music to my ears.
Wooot.... Yes I needed to write a post for that.

As a matter of fact, now they're doubling their data on the data plans for the same price to keep up with AT&T.
