Am I the only one who lost the ability to use smart key options on the update to 5.0? (tap, double tap, hold, etc.)
If not, is someone willing to share that apk with me? Something might have gone wrong during the install.

Yeah, I'm going to flash the stock rom. No bt working, No NFC working, No smartkey, No clock app. I don't know what happpened, but loading 7.0 was terrible.
Going back to marshmallow until there is a full version of 7.0 I can just load via dload
I am having the issue of keep thinking the finger printer scanner is a power button like my LG phones. I'm looking for some good app or something I can do to tap the button to bring up the power menu.
I found some good ones, they all need roots.
smart key app is not into my Beta N !!!

i don't think this is on test phase, otherwise sammobile should have quoted as one.
test means leak, and i suppose this is official and if you check their site, its available via kies

confirmed, flash via Odin 1.87, did a fac. reset prior to flashing. booted fine, like the new boot anim.

go to settings>motion>palm swipe to capture.check the box
that setting is available on note 2, pretty sure its there for tab plus too

wow, thats not nice of them. they gave smart stay but no smart rotation?? how is project butter?
Overall it seems fine. I like that they are going on Holo more but the toggles seems ugly. What you pretty much saw on S3 is there. Some changes here and there but overall it's great.
Has anyone tried the old root method? I don't want to risk bricking it.

I tried the CWM patch, to apply the root patch through CWM, but the package's signing verification failed.
I also tried unlock root, but it also failed...
The latest update on the LG servers! Not an OTA. D80120G, Kit Kat 4.4.2. Here's a link to the kdz file on their server. You can use the LG Mobile Support Tool to upgrade. After putting your phone into download mode (holding volume up while plugging in usb), go into the options menu and selected Upgrade Recovery. You will need to have the latest LG USB drivers installed. Unfortunately, the Mac drivers do not support software upgrades. Towelroot does not support D80120G yet, but Stump Root was able to use brute force and root 20G. You can find Stump Root here

No art in dev options Looks the same except for the icons in the notification bar being kit kat white. Feels smoother. Knock Knock feels more responsive.

I wonder if T-Mobile had LG disable it to push their Isis TTP service. If that's the case, perhaps it can be modded back in, as tap to pay is part of the Kit Kat framework.
So the OTA should be out anyday now, right?

I think it sucks that carriers are allowed to block out and taint parts of an OS, an open-source OS at that, just because they have people by the balls in terms of contracts and subsidies. Tethering? Free, and part of Android, but try telling a carrier that. Tap-to-Pay? "Oh but ISIS is so much better!," says carriers. "You can use that while we install CIQ to track every movement that you make!"

I know there's code in there for tap to pay because using a shortcut creator, you can see activities, but it appears the UI to make changes is gone or hidden. Having root, there may be a SQL change that can be made to turn it on or point it to google wallet.
I'm kinda newer to Moto Devices, just switched from HTC after many years, so I don't have my Z2 Force rooted yet, just curious if anyone has a modified .apk of MotoActions with the 3-Finger Screenshot, and Attentive Display enabled?
If so, could anyone plz upload?

It Does work, But you need to reboot your device a bunch of times, and set the battery optimisation for the particular app off.
first time running the app will cause it to FC, this happened 2 times for me, just open the app again and you'll be able to customise it

Works fine for me as well (T-Mobile converted to International, 9.5.10, obviously rooted, stock kernel & Magisk). I do have battery restriction on. I did have one force close at one point, but otherwise works as intended.

you dont need to disable the battery optimisation, because the app only changes system files one time.
Just set the picture, press enter, reboot and open the app once. Now you should see the new image.
It doesn't work for me, after I reboot there is no change. I tired rebooting 4 times now and still nothing
Edit: I spoke to soon lol. It worked finally

It's live, not sure what's different. Anyone having VoLte issues with Verizon? If I toggle it, it works until the radio state switches (reboot, or on and off WiFi). It always shows selected under settings but needs to be cycled to work.
Just updated. The multitask selection issue seems has been fixed.
multitask fixed, but now its telling me nova launcher cant use gestures and it added the 3 navigation keys to the home screen. mind you, i have already been using it half the day with gestures, the it stopped. wack!
i just noticed wifi-calling is not working. thats a BIG problem.

i can add fingerprint.
my wifi-calling mysteriously works now. seems the only issue is that navigation gestures dont work with 3rd party launchers, so using the crappy stock quickstep launcher
****ing fed up with these buggy ass betas. I can't change and or add security unlock options i.e. pattern / pin etc...

I had the same problem when I using fastboot to flash the full rom. I flashed it back to Android Pie and then use OTA through the phone, the fingerprint works fine now.

Just like the name implies, it's the Easter Egg when you go into Settings\About phone click Android version and then click Android version a few times fast. There's been one on every version of Android.
In this one, you can move the "Android" the "1" and the "0" around the screen and if you tap one and then tap again fast, you can make it spin. If you spin the "1" around in such a way that it makes the letter Q with the "0", then you get to play a game.
It's a complete novelty.
The newer build on OP7Pro has the new Easter Egg and the first part works, but there is no game.
