I have noticed that Remote control learning function isn't working. I was trying to program Thomson Led TV... It was showing that has learn the functions but wasn't working... I had try a lot of times but nothing.... Other than that is working great
I had to try many, many times to get it working, but the learning remote function does work. Keep trying.
Same. Couldn't get it to work for fan remote even though it said it had learnt.

Does ActiveSync_Remote_Display work with wm6?
When I try to run it i got a message saying:
"The OS or CPU of this device is unknown to this application"
I have just installed Pocket Controller from SOTI (http://www.soti.net),
and it looks good. Will try it for today and see if it fits my needs.
Update: My universal just freezed after I've switched Pocket controller to 'test mode' It also seemed to run much slower than before :/
Update2: Well again it just freezed having no reason whatsoever :/ I think I'd prefer using ASRD...
Hey, just curious... are you trying to control your PPC on your PC. Or the other way around?
I'm trying to control my XDA from PC. Otherwise i would use rdp, vnc or putty, all of them work perfectly fine for me.
As for the Pocket Controller I'm not sure if it was a good choice
Now every time I try to use my universal the screen is just white :/
It does react on keys though. Haven't looked for that kind of behaviour on forum yet, and to be honest, it's not necessarily Pocket Controller fault, as i have installed few other programs this morning.
Will update as soon as I will figure out what to do with it now
Pocket Controller
I use Pocket controller version 5.05 which i find to be Ok, you just can't type too fast sometimes.
Didn't know AS had an option to be able to control the Uni remotely.
I think I'll just drop the whole idea about using Pocket Controller.
One thing that really disqualify it is what you've already mentioned - unless you're typing with one hand (or legs) you will lose 50-70% of what you're typing.
I also had serious performance issues when running pocket controller on my uni.
But at least I managed to make Microsoft's Remote Display working.
MarkJL: you can get ASRD here: http://download.microsoft.com/download/5/3/7/5376bdb4-0aec-40df-bb5c-7a4eb4819b25/remotedsp.exe
ASRD
Hey thanks this does work better than Pocket Controller. And its free!
So..?
How did you get it to work with WM6?
With my HP 214, I get "Error 10048 from bind".
sorry I can't seem to be able to delete this message. The previous message is legit, though.
I bought a logitech F310 gamepad today, after hearing so many good reviews on it with this specific device. I have tried using the gamepad with games and I just end up spinning in circles, or when i try to configure, only the left and right on the DPAD work. When i go into Joy2Touch, it recognizes the bits of every single movement, and tells me everything about what i am doing and how i am doing it. It also recognizes the device and its model. Then when i go into JoystickTests, nothing at all is registered. I ended up just giving up and going to play some PCSX ps1 emulator, and the controller works almost perfectly fine (except for the fact that ab/xy are switched and i can't switch them back)
UPDATE: Through some appwork on JoyCenter, I have gotten almost every control to work, except that I always have both joysticks turned ALL the way up and to the side all of the time when ingame on any app except in an emulator. AB/XY are still swiched in my PS1 emulator, have not tried others and will keep it updated.
UPDATE: Something that I have noticed in JoyCenter is that when I load up the driver, I see that the dots for the joysticks for all the way left and all the way up are ALWAYS on, as well as two unknown dots, no matter how I calibrate or try to fix. This seems to be the only problem by now, but whether or not I have JoyCenter running or what controller (between stock gamestop tab controller and f310 Logitech, as well as a generic ps3 controller) So I have narrowed it down to something in the tablet's bios or base software hat is glitching up my USB/Bluetooth control input. Could I have a lemon?
I am running the latest CM with its stock kernel. I have also tried JB and PA with their stock kernels, in the latest versions as well. I am completely lost and stumped, and if anyone could help me out I would greatly appreciate it.
Hey guys,
I have just bought a few Wetek Play Android TV boxes.
Apart from a few other issues that I will not get into here, I have one very major problem. I have two of these devices in my home and the air mouse that comes with it (the remote control) controls both boxes at the same time. so they are not independant.
this means if I have a box in the lounge and a box in the bedroom, both of their remote controls control both boxes at the same time making it completely useless.
I have asked Wetek support for help on this but only to get a reply that they are aware of the issue but cant do anything about it yet. so suggested using my phone or a mouse and keyboard..
Well this kind of defeats the purpose of what I got these boxes for.
I just wanted to get a little info on how these things work, you guys are super switched on when it comes to all things tech so I am hoping to find something out.
How do these remotes work? is it a hardware or software thing that connects them to each other?
I did install CM12 hoping that it would somehow fix the problem but it still exists.
is there anyway of making it so these remotes are independant of each other and linked to just one box?
Thanks in advance

there is a solution but first you need to unsync the remotes, if you acomplish that them you are good to go, and resync one for each box, i do not know is how do you unsync them, to resync is box on standby and back + ok button till green light flash. if you get them unsync them remove power cord from 1 box and sync one at a time, after first is synced remove power cord from that one and sync the other, always have one without power that way the remote will not sync to both
Hi all, so I wanted to get a bluetooth keyfob to work with my Android 5 phone that would function as a trusted device and keep my phone unlocked while I had it on me.
This obvious choice seemed to be the trackr key chain dongle thingies, small, neat and relatively cheap. Except they don't work. When your not getting constant new device found notifications the thing losses connection and it & the phone no longer recognise each other.
After pockong around a bit it seems that they don't "pair" in the conventional way, maybe thats something to do with it being bluetooth V4?
Anyways I'm looking for something that will work in it's place.
Nothing fancy, no bells or whistles, it's just a gadget to sit there acting as a a trusted device.
Any ideas or recommendations?
All input gladly received.
Cheers all.
The display on my S7 started slowly dying, I estimate it will be fully dead in a few weeks. A replacement costs almost 100$, not including work, so it's probably going to stay like it is. I still want to use the phone however, for app development or music or similar stuff.
Is there any way to mirror the display or use some kind of VNC? I don't have a smart TV but several computers, not sure if miracast works on those.
I would also like the mirroring to start automatically or at least through some adb command line, because I will likely not see anything on the screen.
Replying to myself: found a relatively good option that's also free: https://github.com/Genymobile/scrcpy
I've installed TeamViewer Host on my S7 and it works great over wifi. I tried controlling my android device from Windows, MacOS and another android device, but it should work on linux and ios too.
