Greetings and welcome to assist. If you have installed a zip then I'm guessing you have custom recovery ? The easiest thing to do is just dirty flash the rom you are using this should return your tablet to its previous state
Good Luck

So, after my first Transformer Bricked completely, after I was able to root it and install a new ROM, I know that the latest Update is bad for rooting, So I wanted to know where in the Tablet are the Updates Stored, because it downloads automatically, but does not install. So, what folder does it download to so I can delete it?
Also, Is it possible to run Ubuntu on the Tablet from an external SD card, instead of installing it?
its in your /asus folder to stop things from downloading in the first place freeze the DCsometing .apk in titanium backup
There isn't a /ASUS file, which root folder would it be going to?sys? system? root?config?
should be /sdcard/asus if it is already downloaded at least that is where it has traditionally been
Hello I wonder if making a full phone backup to PC's hard drive would be possible...I mean something similar to Acronis trueimage of Windows partition...but do this on phone with exclusion of the main firmware. Because of no SDcard slot I need store everything to connected PC HDD...
Looked at TitaniumBackup which probably is close to what I need but I'm afraid it lacks support for storing to networked location. Any working solution is highly appreciated

Take backup using Cwm and u can reflash it using ir phone again.

You need to root (gain root/superuser access) your device and install a custom recovery. Clockwork Mod is one of the (CWM), TWRP is another (having used both, I prefer TWRP - but you can try either/both yourself). You can then copy or cut the backed-up files from the recovery's folder to your computer.
Thanks, probably give it a try if anything else fails. Would it be possible to mount a windows shared drive to phone's internal filesystem? So that TB could access it as internal folder...
use nandroid backup (cwm)
you must root your device
backup cwm will get what you want
or you can try this GO Backup Pro 2.9

Thanks for your suggestion

Thanks for the advices. I finally managed to install CWM
CWM's backup = Nandroid?
This works for SDcard, however the condition to backup directly to my PC's hard drive is not met
Remember I suffer with lack of space on builtin SDcard so I need to exclude it from backup process at all even as temporary location.
One more question about CWM, where can I find the latest version? I have 6.0.1.2.

Yeah, you need to be able to access files in the phone not on sd card, the phone has a seperate memory he wants to access, I think he is asking how to put the phone (everything) onto PC.... im not sure how to do this myself but I will look into it for you, I believe you can access that info but im not sure where the files you want are.
The backup is saved into /sdcard/clockworkmod/blob/ but the problem I have with it is that used soace in internal memory is over 1.5GB while free space on Sdcard is usually several 100s MB...

Hey guys, today hasn't been going well. After flashing a ROM and it saying my paid apps are pirated (they are not) and making a 0 folder and then putting the default folder in the SD card (internal) I decided that I wanted to start clean, I was going to copy the titanium Backup folder to my PC and then delete everything on my note (all folders, everything) flash a new ROm and copy the folder back to my tablet and enjoy the smoothness.
However,
My device is not recognized by my PC and I have no idea how to fix it. I'm currently on CM 10.1 4.3.1 =.
Can anyone help me?
I know this question has been answered in previous threads, but the solution doesn't work for my device...
I made a backup using CWM recovery in my Galaxy S5, but it is stored within the internal memory (don't remember if I placed it there myself or just agreed to it), which sucks because it takes 5 out of 16 GB of space and now I can't delete it...
I've tried connecting it to the PC but the folder is protected and I can't install CWM ROM manager to delete it either because my device is not supported yet. ROM manager asks me to install CWM Recovery, even though it is already installed, and there is no Galaxy S5 within the list of supported devices
What should I do? Do I have to wait till the S5 is supported by ROM manager in order to delete this backup?
Thank you
PD. This is my first thread, so be gentle
Try deleting the folder using a file manager app such as ES file manager.
You can also delete backups directly with CWM.
If you can't perform any of the above you can always backup you're important data and format the internal storage.
Good luck!

As mentioned by @ido100, you should use ES File Explorer. However, you're going to need Root Explorer turned on, as well as Show Hidden Files turned on. See my posts here and here for instructions on how to do that.
Solved...
Well, the file manager didn't work either... I turned Root Explorer on and show hidden files as well, but everytime I deleted the clockworkmod folder and refreshed it was there again... I got pretty sick and wiped my internal sd card, now I'm affraid that I didn't back up my Link to the Past progress
But the stupid 5GB folder is finally gone...
cant delete cwm backup

Hi all, this is the situation.
I have a Samsung galaxy s3 i9300. I installed CWM and the recovery, bboted into recovery and took an entire system backup.
also i took a backup in Titanium backup root.
Now i wanted to install cutom ROM. i downloaded the ROM from PC and copied the zip files into my sd card which has 29gb of space free.
I should have read properly, but i dont know why i missed it, i didnt copy the zip in the legacy or obb file folder. i deleted all system data, and now i dont know how to go back to normal. and the Phone doesnt seem to charge!
Please help me!! i know i sound paranoid and i am. its my first time to this (obvious from my stupidty) and i dont want to brick my phone
Also the phone doesnt seem to be charging. it has just 70% battery.
How do i recover the system data and files??
