Hello everyone,
Today I hereby announce the initiation of The Flamingo OS project.
Anybody who wants to join this project can join. Following are the qualifications:
*Should have little knowledge of source building.
*Should be knowing about custom roms.
*Should have knowledge of linux commands(This is optional).
Purely CyanogenMod based rom.
Flamingo OS will be actually initiated in May.
Anybody who wants to join must qualify the above. Anyone who has good knowledge of developing websites and has money can also apply.
Hope you all join.

good news is i had found complete mtk sources and compiled rom out of it succesfully
and not so good news is
sources are of 4.1.2 and im new to this so i need developers help

i know you have made latest cwm recovery for a116..
can also make it for a110 as we need upgradation to flash kitkat based roms..
also the recovery should have selinux..

We can make it ourselves, with selinux, but it requires work. Are you going to help @WalkerBales. Also we can flash it through bond bro's CTR recovery or by varunchitre15's twrp 2.5.0.0.

he certainly has.. and i think that this might some build prop trickery/workaround to get 5.0 to work on the d850. that's my assumption..
Its a kit kat ROM just version 5.0 of rom
Anyone flash this yet if so how is it working thanks.

LRX21M isn't 4.4.4 or kitkat. js
i downloaded the file and extracted this. haven't flashed it yet because i don't know enough about it. but from my previous experience I've seen newer version builds labeled in the build prop as a previous version in order to get the software to boot. again js.
EDIT:it's NOT lollipop. i flashed it.

LRX21M is the build id on the build.prop.
For the folks that have flashed and are using this, how is it running? I've tried the other ports but have gone back to liquid for the time being.
Xposed not working kept me off of carbon, haven't heard much about the PA port.
Yeah appreciate you posting these but due to issues on roms that actually have continual development ongoing im hesitant to flash any of these
Flashed this and it was working great. Just an FYI. Switched to carbon tho as my dd.

I love omni, carbon and slim
Resurrection rimix gives more features or great look, so i think this will be a good work for all users .
Thanx to make this poll.
I think mokee rom would be nice. I've only use that and Resurrection ROM before.

please complete cm12.1 first then we can bring the "complete" to other roms.
Resurrection Remix is alredy there ...compliled by someone....!!
Yes Resurrection remix is already available but that has too much glitches .
need to recompile that with latest updated kernel and resources.
Currently ResurrectionRemix is number one. When I will find time in the next days I will compile this rom .

I don't know. You are the OP I think many users here are familiar with Euphoria OS already (earlier it was Mahdi ROM, Euphoria since 5.0). It is a wonderful features packed ROM IMO.

I will build ResurrectionRemix and reset the poll . But currently I'm working on some other devices so the release will take a little bit longer.
Looking for a couple testers. So far, reports are perfect, but would prefer a bit more stress testing

Firmware was good. If I use the profile from a respected person, the system smooth. Sometimes that stops connects to wifi and mobile network. It helps to restart.
How can I add this profile directly in the firmware?

Probably can add aqua, once I know this is stable
Just tested this ROM and its Super Smooth !
but there are no extra settings and art work is kinda bad )
Still thanks to Devs for work ! Also I can do testing if necessary.
Super smooth, my SOT increased from 4 hours to close to 6 hours, stable but sometimes restart if i change wifi connection (common issue with my phone with RR, AICP) overall rock solid

using this rom for 2 day now, battery live is great hope more features will added like the old Vanir Jellybean on Galaxy Nexus day
I see new 02 -02-2017 build is up, but no update for libra?

Well I see some cm apps here and there since no one answers so it is not purely based on aosp. For now it seems a stripped down version of aicp or RR. Please developer correct me if I'm wrong @DHO

Devs have lives mate they do this for free for us, don't pester them. I'm sure if he plans to continue the project that another build will come along shortly, but if not that's ok too. He still provided something asking for nothing in return. Be patient and as always, be thankful.

Alpha Revision 1 has the installer working. (Third party apps like es or any other file manager is recommended to pick files, since in built android file manager never really gives correct file path)
Alpha Revision 2 uses a lot less bandwidth, since the list now refreshes only when the app is reloaded

I tried changing Android version but it only showing Oreo ROMs.
BTW all Oreo ROMs are not in the list...
