Root your device. Gonna be hard to grant the required root access, when you don't have it. There are several threads here with several different ways to do it.

im already have superuser too... but tb not appear in app on superuser....
clear data from tb and superuser and try again. Uninstalling tb and reinstalling may also get you the superuser prompt. Make sure superuser is set to allow you to grant permission.

I need to hide root on my phone to load a work app, anyone have any suggestions?
I found "hide my root"in Google play store, but it hasn't been updated in over a year. Anyone that with phone?
I also saw root cloaked in xposed, but I have a feeling my work is smarter than that.
Suggestions?

Xposed is your best bet.

The xposed module didn't work for me. I tried RooCloak and it seems to have done the trick.

RootCloak Xposed module works perfectly here, for the same purpose.

Greetings, I recently lost root on my Nexus 5 because I wanted to switch from supersu to superuser. I uninstall supersu from the app itself. I installed superuser and then tried to download the binaries, but it failed. But my bootloader is still unlocked and I have twrp as my custom recovery.

Did you actually uninstall the binaries from SuperSU?
What rom are you on?

As far as I am aware, SuperSU is the only choice.
I tried reinstalling supersu but it doesn't work another thing is that I believe supersu is being detected by some games as a hacking application, once I removed supersu my games started working again. Just wanted to fund out if it really was supersu

If you removed the binaries, the only way to get SuperSU is to flash it.
And Is it possible for me to flash superuser? Or am I stuck with supersu? I have no problem with supersu I like it. It's just not compatible with a few games I have.

AFAIK, SuperSU is the only option.

I remember being able to achieve temp root on the Verizon Note 4 using king root, then using supersume to remove all remnants of kingroot minus supersu. The root would last until the phone was rebooted. You were able to do most things except modify system files. Anyone think this would work on our Note 5? Trying to find the thread to link here.

There is no way to currently bypass Knox. If you want to softbrick your phone .........

Does encrypting your phone messes with the supersu?

Luckily, you have choice on XDA. Besides SuperSU, you can root with Phh's Superuser which is open source.
