Anyone get Android Pay working g on Mate 9? I have the Chinese version updated to 136 from with all the Play stuff installed but get a message that it cannot verify, try unrooting. I am not rooted, BTW.
Trying that setting in permissions for trusted app, see if that fixes it. ... Nope.

I have the international version (MHA-L29), using it in the US, and can confirm that Android Pay works fine.
as does the dubai international version l29c185b110
I'm in the UK, using a Chinese AL00 and Android Pay is working fine without issue. I'm on B135.

Try reinstalling it. I got the same issue first. But when I reinstalled the app, it worked.

It is odd, after last OTA (156) it worked once then a couple days later it went back to that same error about unrooting the device. Tried clearing g app storage, setting to trusted app, and uninstalling and reinstalling but still getting that error.

Same here。Chinese B156 firmware now and hasn't got it to work from day 1 even when it was the firmware before the B153.(forgot what number it was). Fortunately I'm not desperate to get it to work as I only have one card that uses Android Pay, and that isn't my daily account.

It started to work for B156 since yesterday. It took a few days for Android Pay to work on both B153 and B156, I guess there might be a lag for google to update their database. So my suggestion is that whenever a firmware update come out, just wait for a week or so before you update.

I received my UK/Europe phone today and I was wondering if the Nougat update should be coming through? It did a big 450mb update after powering on for the first time but i'm still on EMUI 4.1.3.

Just wondering if you ever got your update. I got the Honor 6x this week and still no update. Am on Android 6 and EMUI 4.1.3. Have spoken to Huawei and Three and have got nowhere. I'm no geek so too scared to use Firmware Finder. Is this my only option??

Three sold me an Honor 6x recently which will not update to EMUI 5 or to Android 7. According to Honor UK Tech support, BLN-L21C432B151 will not update and they have no update in the pipeline. Tough luck seems to be their attitude. Three did not have a clue and will not change the phone. Stupidly (as it turns out) I bought from the Three shop in Canterbury, their take is, "too bad" and if I had bought over the phone from Three direct (or on the web site) I could have simply returned it for a refund. Supported my local shop and realise now that I was a mug, I have no right of return even if you feel you've been "stiffed." No wonder the High Street is dying. Anyway, it looks like we suckers are stuck with what I consider old tat which is outdated from day 1. Thanks, Three and Honor. Now I know who to avoid.

Had problem with disappeared update app in settings after flashing rom from FF but I found 100-150 MB update somewhere here on xda that fixed it. Since then I am getting all security patches every few months. Did not rooted and not tried any custom ROMs yet. I am getting old I suppose ?

I cant update it says checksum package error. Once i tried to push it it was only 660 mb.

I'd wait, that room in your image it's not Oreo, still nouget. Oreo has started rolling out to the mate 9 so I'd wait until it rolls out to your region, should be sometime in the next few weeks.
That's not Oreo it's just October security updates, and I've had this update about a month ago through normal update. Next update shows as 188 on ff and not authorized yet while other mate 9 versions are getting Oreo.. the wait is Killin me.

Unless they change it, the "beta" Oreo on mine, is version 321, so I'd guess the rest should be 3xx or higher?
I thought it was a release version, I never signed up for the beta, but about a month ago, I checked the EMUI
default update program on my phone and it popped up, so I installed it. Had I known it was a beta, I probably
would have left it alone. But, it's been pretty good, one little quirky BT problem in my car. If I get out of the
car while I'm using BT with the car, turn off the car, then get back in, sometimes it won't connect. I have to turn
off BT, wait a few seconds, then turn BT back on and all is good. If I spend say 30 minutes or longer out of the
car, it works fine, but if I'm out like pumping gas and get back in, it won't connect.
I'm living in China, I have the MHA AL00 version. I have received the Oreo update. There is no PC Mode

Mine is 360 and it is Beta Test.. It Has performance issues.
I downloaded that but it is nougat no Oreo.
Rooted Note 8 user here. Converted my Gear S3 to get Samsung Pay but no luck. I have used magisk hide and all that jazz but I am probably missing a step.

As the previous poster requested, can you list out what you did to get things working again? My apps updated yesterday and I havent been able to open the Pay app ever since. I am rooted with Magisk, but Magisk Hide is enabled for all samsung apps as well as google playstore and framework items. I pass safetynet as well, so I dont know what else may be the issue...Clear app data?
EDIT: In the mean time, I rolled back my spay app to the previous version and turn off auto app updates.

Well I never added any cards to begin with. So initially I needed to add cards via the Samsung gear pay part in the gear app. So I had to rapidly tap Samsung pay, then add card, then add manually all before the pop-up kicks you out. If you reach the enter card manually before you get kicked out then you have successfully added the card.

I am just going to use the previous version of spay since it worked without issue. Dunno what they change in the update, but hopefully it gets figured out soon

Anyone flash this yet to verify TWRP/Magisk still working properly?
Just updated, Magisk 16.0 works fine, passes SafetyNet. I don't install TWRP, but booting 3.2.0.0 from fastboot works fine.

Why in my pixel 2 I don't get the OTA updates ? I thought I would get the OTA update as it goes online. Bought the phone in Germany , TMobile and it's unlocked. What should I do ?

Press the "check for updates" button? If you are already up to the Feb security update then that should be working (it did on mine earlier this evening).
I did. And as you see I'm in Feb and still nothing

You can flash the OTA manually with adb sideload if you don't want to wait.

This will work but you will need a factory reset afterwards cause lot of things won't work after clearing this cache especially push notifications.
The best way to update is to update google playservices to version 12 stable and check ota.

But why my phone doesn't update automatically the Google play services ? I still have the version 11.9. I guess that's why I don't don't have OTA update. There's anyway to make the Google play services update by itself ??

No Beta. I thought about trying the beta but didn't think that would help. Running 10.0.1GM21AA on tmo variant. I did side load it from another source and it worked for a while, at least as well as it could with all the problems they are having but now it won't connect at all. Oddly, the desktop version seems to be working 100%. I had never used APKPure before so I just removed the app.
Same here. Full stock TMo variant with latest Pie. Says device not compatible. Runs well on my Pixel 4 XL though.

Seems to be the same issue they had with trying to get the app on FireOS devices. It sucks but the sideloaded app from APKPure is working now. Guess I will just hold my breath that APKPure isn't a malicious source.
This worked for me:
Download and install Split APK:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aefyr.sai
Then download the 3 APKS from here:
https://apkcombo.com/disney/com.disney.disneyplus/download/apk
Then install via Split APK and boom works.
Shouldn't have to do this but its a work around to get it installed.
However it doesn't connect to service after logging in. which could be because of this:

My problem is that I am on pixel experience rom and when I click on a show or movie it doesn't display anything to click play
working fine here as well. I am on stock OOS beta 5 with root. it didnt work for me last night (not compatible in the play store) but now I have installed it from play store and everything is working fine
I just installed it from the playstore on vzw 10.0.1 Magisk Canary.
Tried to install on my wife's vzw 9.13 Magisk Canary and wasn't compatible on playstore.
Sent apk straight from my phone to hers via file manager, Bluetooth, Drive... Whichever, they all said failed when installing the apk package.
Refreshed playstore app data just for fun, didn't help
