As the P9 and P9 Lite look similarly in height and width to me.
Would it be possible to use P9 cases on the P9 Lite? I don't truely know if portlocations are the same. But some P9 cases look incredible as over the availability for P9 Lite cases is sparse.
You can't use them.

The lite is slightly bigger and p9's cases wont fit

would advice you spigen rugged armor, you can find it in amazon for 8 euros. imho is damn good. i have it on my device.

My Xperia Z Ultra bit the dust after being with me for a while...so I can either get another C6833 or try the Mediapad X2. I would like the extra real state (would have loved stereo speakers like the P8 Max). It sucks not having NFC but I will deal with that I guess.
Just wondering if there are any benefits of the Honor 703L over the Mediapax 702L in my case.

No benefits when it comes to service here in the US. The 703L gets all the updates while the other models rarely do. I'd go for the 703L and then unlock, update to B209, then install twrp, and flash KangVIP Slim of course.
703 is easier to root right?
I was wondering, if m is mate then p might be partner. That said, which one is better in overall usage if we just remove handling from equation. I have a mate 8 L29 looking forward to buying P9 plus. Share your thoughts please.
i guess it depends where your focus is. mate 8 has the larger screen real estate and larger battery, whereas P9 has a tad more cpu power (+8-9%) and the better dual camera setup.

Just trying to get something a bit bigger than my Xperia Z Ultra with better battery life and was set on the X2 but I can get one P8 Max for around $325 like new....Still it seems that the X2 is seeing more dev action or maybe it my impression only.
What you guys think?

somebody posted (another forum) that he uses Lenovo Z5's casing and glass and it fits perfectly on zenfone 5
but for casing need to punch a hole for the noise cancelling mic
i guess these phones shares the same dimension

Ye exactly mine. I think in Malaysia they advertise this as zenfone 5 screen protector but it was not. Find a suitable case is a nightmare too :angel:

i recently bought a p40 pro plus and i wanted to know if i could use p40 pro cases on my pro plus device?
From my understanding, the phones are exactly the same on the exterior? Or am i wrong?

Pretty sure the camera bump is bigger on the P40 Pro+, so it probably wouldn't fit right.
Yes, your correct, 40 pro plus is bigger. Pro sort of fits but not well. Better getting right one for better protection

at the moment, huawei store is selling the PU cases for £10
Pro Plus is larger and will not fit in the opening in a Pro case, it would have to be modified to work.
really need to stick to only PRO PLUS cases
It's not only larger but bump is 3mm on the left. I tried several cases and protection foils for the rear, they don't fit at all.
