How would we know when there's a update available? You should use XDA Labs :good:
Two bugs, when pressing two times the back button the app crashes, also in settings it is set to light theme but it's actually dark theme.
Good job, it looks promising!

New version up, a couple force closes fixed. And a lot of cleanup.

Just found this. Thanks for this man! Much appreciated

Yes, there are several issues with the themes.
Why do this app try to access to my contacts? There's not such a permission in the AndroidManifest.

alezardstar said:
It requires Internet access too. AFWall+ is asking me to choose the parameters for the application once installed onto the system. Why should a file manager need Internet access in the first place? Albeit it requires both, I didn't give it permissions to either and it's working for the time being.

AFAIK, it was supposed to work with cloud storages. That will definitely require internet access.

The internet permission is for upcoming cloud storage support, and contacts permission is for getting google account for gdrive support. Sorry for not removing them after I disabled cloud storage.

Yes I didn't remember that the GET_ACCOUNTS permission is now listed into the Contacts group.
Same 'issue' with other apps like Substratum.

BBQTools - The Mighty Toolset for CyanogenMod Users

Hi there.
You know TeamBBQ is the couple of bad ass people behind the development of several utilies to assist and enhance experience for CyanogenMod users.
Today we annouce the birth of a new apk and also a new structure to integrate all that we have. We are very proud to show you BBQTools. Our member XploDWilD worked really hard on this one and im pretty sure you will love it.
Main Features :
Verify if you are up-to-date with your CyanogenMod release
Download the latest rom directly
pause/resume download (a first on this kind of program)
See if GApps are up-to-date and download updated ones
See changelog from Github AND gerrit (another first)
See general/kernel/radio changelog and upload them directly on the web
Have a tutorial section and a FAQ
Our team of expert answer question you ask
Access cyanogenmod statistics
Flash .zip package directly from the application
Wipe cache/dalvik from the app
Fix permissions in background
reboot into recovery
And more!
Do I really need more reasons to convince you to go and get it? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.bbqdroid.bbqtools&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsIm9yZy5iYnFkcm9pZC5iYnF0b29scyJd
Not convinced yet? Surely it will not end here. I will give you a little spoiler: we are working on a mobile and web rom bakery for AOSP custom ROMs and in a near future we will push that red BUILD button into BBQTools. Can you imagine you making your own nightly? Select project > select patches > press build > get notification > automagically download and flash. We gonna make history.
As always, bug reports, feature requests and other comments are welcome.
Cheers,
TeamBBQ
Don't forget to ask your question in the Faq and tutorial section, we want to have a large Database of FAQ !
Very nice! Thanks! Shouldn't you add an automatic md5 check, for the downloads? Since it won't be the first time paused downloads are broken..

That's pretty tough to debug. I'm pushing an update that will appear on the Play Store in the coming hours, please tell me if the issue is still present or if it's better.
If it still doesn't work, could you check your logcat if there is any error that could help me find out what's wrong?

Lots of UI issues today
Here are some screenshots of the latest nightly appearing in HTML code.
Here are some screenshots of the name of the build not completely showing (Nighlty) or not showing at all (Stable)
Phone = SGS2 i9100 international
Any details about the BBQ OpenDesign program. Website hasn't been updated since July, now news whatsoever. Thanks.

I'll take a look and fix it asap.
i9100 doesn't have stable because it never had any stable build so far (CM9 is galaxys2, not i9100, thus not appearing on CM10 devices)

"ADS CAN BE DISABLED BY PRESSING MENU BUTTON ON HOMESCREEN, THEN PAYING $1 "DONATION" FEE."
There I fixed it for you.
I'm not going to be FORCED into disabling my ad block to install your app. I don't like ads nor do I like misleading devs that lie and waste peoples time with misleading advertisement. Good luck with your app.

[ROM]CM11 4.4.2 - WiFi [KOT49H] [19/04/2014]- [native USB OTG (charging), DAC, etc.]

Hi
Thanks to Temasek and webdroidmt for info, native USB OTG works again.
Thanks to NetFluke, who managed to implement Timur Merhvarz patches, we have DAC hotplug support with volume adjustment. NetFluke also made kernel with OTG charging.
New 4.4.2 works really really smooth, ART and built in Superuser work.
How to install:
1. Reboot into recovery (I use TWRP 2.6.3.0)
2. Select advance wipe: dalvik cache, system, cache and data. Basically everything except internal storage. Just in case
3. Flash rom and gapps
4. Wipe dalvik cache and cache
5. Reboot
How to enable ART:
1. Select settings
2. Tap 7 times build number to enable developers options
3. In developer options tap on runtime and select ART
4. Reboot and wait
I recommend to enable ART before install any new applications. Works for me since rom is built.
Links:
All builds are here, just take the latest. 4.4.2 builds are in 442 sub folder. For rom with USB DAC support look here.
Gapps compatible with ART:
gapps-proper-art
Recently I use minimal gapps (playstore, syncing apks and libs, AOSP calendar sync) from here. I don't really need face unlock, Google now, search, etc. But you should be fine with full gapps. You can find two flashable gapps which I use here.
Gapps partially compatible with ART:
gapps-kk-20131119.zip
gapps-kk-20131119.zip - mirror
gdrive mirror for all files
If you wish to try CyanogenMod Screencast:
- first join the CyanogenMod community
- then download CyanogenMod Screencast
I have Linux laptop dedicated for development and plan is to make clean build every few days or when CM team submit noticeable changes, test on my device, upload and post a link.
Changelog:
- search is not force closing anymore
- Newsstand works
- lock screen shortcuts
- expanded desktop
- buttons and layout
- quick launch shortcuts
- fn buttons
- more options in Interface menu (battery percentage...)
- OTG support
- DAC support
- OTG charging support with separate kernel
About ART, if someone haven't read already. May experience is exactly the same, a bit slower installation or first application start, much smoother later.
In case that something went wrong, you can restore dalvik without wipe:
$ su
# echo -n libdvm.so > /data/property/persist.sys.dalvik.vm.lib
# reboot
Huge thanks to fattire for his guide and patient answers and of course to the CM team.

gdrive mirror for all files

For now, no difference. Just another CM11 unofficial build. You may try this one, from someone else or build your own.
First I built for my self then realize that some users have problems with other builds. To avoid off topic or giving support for something I didn't test, I made decision to open new topic and share my builds here.
New build is made over night but didn't have time to flash and test. Will do after work.

I redownloaded and this time the md5 matches the one u posted. Really excited to flash this one, finally a fc free/ stable pure cm11 ROM. Thanks. Btw, u might wanna add the pa gapps link, its on their site, its 245 mb and has all apps and works great.

Thank you all for info. I also downloaded and md5 is fine. Anyway, just in case I will continue upload to dropbox.
Gapps, linked in first post, work with ART and I prefer smaller version. I can link also 245MB version but could you confirm that works with ART?
P.S.
I setup everything on my machine and new build is done much quicker now.

I think he only supports devices that he has, officially. So it will probably remain unofficial for the Moto G.

Can you provide logs for the display FC? I've had this issue on my OnePlus One too.... Want to see if it's a generic problem. I've asked @temasek before building these. So these are technically sort of official builds not built by him

To summarize the problem Z9max system upgrade V4.17 latest post:
1. after the shutdown, alarm clock setting does not work
2. set the timer on and off, time off work, regular boot does not work.
3. the lock screen wallpaper inexplicable disappearance (selected for the lock wallpaper, but the reality is still the default lock screen)
4. ink weather addition to the default desktop plug, other plug-ins can not be displayed.
5. the desktop layout style in 5 x 5, the illustration shows the location bar at the bottom is 5, but the actual position of the bottom four columns, and the above is five, inconsistent, difficult to see.
After two days of testing, I returned to the CM13.

It's unbelievable that they can't bring out a stable version... This phone could run so much better with a stable stock Rom if they wanted...
I expected Nubia to bring out regular updates and work for their community.

I do not understand the strategy of Nubia. Other manufacturers can do it without any problems. I have mixed feelings about it.

Yeah, I'm starting to have these feelings too. Great Hardware , but no projection, they're missing the point...

I tried to use some modified ROM from this site - http://www.romzj.com/list/nubia_nx510j.htm
Some of them are good, but all the tweaks and settings are the Chinese (for me unusable).
There is no other option than to use the Cyanogen, Mokee or Resurrection Remix. All are multilingual, small, fast etc.....

A couple of months ago I asked in the OMNIRom thread if our device could get it... Unfortunately the response was that no development will be put into a device only owned by half a dozen of people...
Which makes sense somehow... Nubia needs to change their approach if they seek for more internationalization in the future.
We own a device which was solely created for the Chinese market, still, we have some development from great members like dianlujitao, which we can be grateful for.

Hi Novas,
Many thanks for your Mega folder. It makes life a lot easier. Is the Resurrection Remix 20160511 rom stable enough for daily use? I am on Mokee 5.1.1 history release and i'm bored with it at the moment. If not, which MM rom would you recommend stable enough for daily use. Many thanks

You can use the RR for everyday use. I was on RR few weeks, and I had no problems. Now I have installed CM13, because I'm doing translations for Crowdin. CM13 is also no problem, but if you do not mind the daily updates.
In my Mega folder you will find some printscreens, which I did.

After installation RR, you can remove the four Chinese applications. They're useless.

hi, one question about custom roms: maybe you know when does someone of the developers plans to put out an version with the newest original baseband (4.17) for the z9 max phone?
i am wondering why there is not existing roms with the newest baseband, not from dianlujitao or other developers? they all stopped at
the 3.82 and after that nothing more which is based on newer ones.....why not? can you maybe explain little bit more about it? thanx

V3.82 is the latest stable version. Perhaps it is better to have a custom ROM based on stable baseband.
